Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 179 The Gu Insect’s ViolenceChapter 179 The Gu Insect’s Violence
Om-!
When He Qiuer reacted, dark gray energy balls had exploded around them.

Although this Nether Explosion is only a weakened version of Butterfly Shadow Release, its power is only about 20.00% of the original release.

But for the fragile beast master, it is still enough to cause serious damage.

At the critical moment, He Xia finally raised his hand to summon his pet beast.

There are a few pet beasts in the Black Dew Secret Realm, and there are only one or two types of protective ones. He Xia’s parasitic Gu also parasitized a rusty snail.

However, being summoned in such a hasty manner, his rusty snail had no time to use any skills and could only block the two of them with its body.

The Nether Explosion is indeed a low-level killing move with damage comparable to mid-to-high-level skills. Even if it is just a weakened version copied by Dieying, it is still very powerful.

Even with the rusty snail in the way, the two of them avoided the explosion from the front, but were still knocked to the ground by the aftermath of the explosion.

The miserable rusty snail was blown up before it could stand still, and turned into white light almost on the spot and flew back to He Xia’s beast-controlling space.

The pet beast was seriously injured, and He Xia naturally didn’t feel comfortable. He immediately groaned and knelt on the ground, with a few strands of blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.

”He Xia!”

Seeing that his brother was injured, He Qiuer suddenly became anxious.

Following her roar, an evil dark purple energy spurted out from her forehead, instantly covering the blade-footed centipede.

With the blessing of this energy, the sword-footed centipede, which was staggered by multiple netherworld explosions, immediately stabilized its figure, and the carapace on its body also began to change.

”This seems to be a talent that only a few geniuses in the Gu Master family possess. It can greatly strengthen the parasitized pet beast in a short period of time...”

Chen Yuan’s expression suddenly changed when he saw the carapace of the sword-footed centipede shattered inch by inch and then reassembled into new shapes.

Although the number of Gu Insect Masters is small, they are more or less a group with a relatively stable inheritance.

After so many years of dealing with each other, the Alliance has a certain understanding of the Gu insect master’s pet beast characteristics and beast control talents.

This beast-control talent is called ”Gu Insect Fury”. As the members said, the effect is to nearly double the parasitic Gu’s combat effectiveness in a short period of time.

Although the price is that it can only last for 5 minutes after being used once, and the parasitized body will be directly damaged afterwards, the benefit effect brought by this move indeed exceeds that of most combat talents.

At the same time, because the body will collapse in 5 minutes anyway, Gu Insect Fury can also modify the body of the parasitized beast regardless of the consequences.

The change in the carapace of the sword-footed centipede in front of me is aimed at giving up defense, opening up the joints of the body as much as possible, and increasing the length of the sword-footed centipede.

With the strength of He Qiuer’s parasitic Gu reaching the middle of fifth level after being parasitized at the same level, once the Gu insect’s violent talent is activated, the combat power will inevitably soar directly to the peak of fifth level.

With the average strength of the alliance team of three people in the middle of the fourth level, against a peak fifth level pet beast that has undergone physical changes, the frontal battlefield will definitely collapse at the first touch.

In the moment when Russell and the three were surprised, the Blade-footed Centipede also completed the changes brought about by the Gu Insect’s rage.

At this moment, its originally smooth long body with a complete carapace had become rugged and weird, and the dark flesh inside the body could be seen from the broken carapace joints.

In this state, the sword-footed centipede’s defense ability has undoubtedly dropped a lot, but its movement speed has increased by nearly %.

As for the broken carapace, they did not fall directly, but were spliced onto its blade legs.

After absorbing nearly one-third of the carapace on its body, the densely packed bladed legs of the blade-footed centipede have been significantly lengthened.

At the same time, many blade-like protrusions grew on its side, which can be regarded as gaining collision and killing capabilities that it did not originally have.

”I’m going to... biohazard?”

Seeing this scene, Russell fully understood the horror of the ”Gu Insect Fury” talent.

However, He Qiuer, who was burning with anger, had no time to wait for the three people to sigh. She waved her hand, and the zombie-like blade-footed centipede crawled towards the three people at an extremely fast speed.

”Fighter Unicorn, hold on!”

Seeing this deadly violent beast rushing in front of him, Chen Yuan, as the forward of the team, had no choice but to bite the bullet.

It’s a pity that the Fighter One-horned Fairy couldn’t stop the ordinary blade-footed centipede when it was in its prime. Now that it was seriously injured, it couldn’t withstand the violent blade-footed centipede.

In this confrontation, the staggering fighter Unicorn didn’t even have time to exert the power of the giant horn’s impact, and couldn’t even block it for a moment.

After just one encounter, it was knocked down by dozens of pairs of sharp long blades.

After a scalp-numbing cutting sound, the fighter’s body was covered with scars where the flesh and blood inside the carapace could be seen.

Fortunately, He Qiuer’s current goal was to injure He Xia’s Russell, and he didn’t worry too much about the fighter. Otherwise, if the fight continued for a while, its life might not be saved.

Of course, while his teammates tried their best to delay time, Russell did not sit still.

After the forward of the team fell, the attack of the blade-footed centipede could only be taken by Daolang.

Although the offensive and defensive attributes are completely incomparable with the enhanced Blade-footed Centipede, Daolang managed to withstand its crazy attack by using its high dodge attributes and ability to glide at low altitude.

In mid-air, Ayou also launched a timely support for Daolang.

The duration of the Gu insect’s rage is limited. Once the time is up, the body of the parasitized beast will collapse on the spot, so Russell does not need to defeat him, he just needs to delay the time.

In addition, the fighting range between the two pet beasts was very small, and it was easy to cause accidental damage if a rash attack was carried out in the area, so Ayou did not use Nether Explosion anymore.

Under Russell’s command, it turned on the shadow form with all its strength, and nine butterfly shadows spread out, firing shadow arrows at the blade-footed centipede from different angles.

”Jiang Xue, ask Nurse Spider to hang these lights on the stone wall on the side!”

While giving orders to the two pet beasts, Russell also shouted to Jiang Xue.

After this period of working together, Jiang Xue now fully believed in Russell’s ability. Although she was unclear about Russell’s intentions, she immediately took action according to the order.

Nurse spiders are also a branch of web-spinning spiders and have quite good silk spinning abilities.

What’s more, it doesn’t take much silk thread to hang a few light bulbs that don’t weigh much. After a while, Jiang Xue hung the lights at the locations pointed by Russell.

At this time, she also figured out Russell’s plan.

Under the illumination of this side light source, the shadow of the sword-footed centipede was stretched very long. Even though it twisted its body extremely fast, it was still hit by three or four shadow-slit arrows.

Across a whole level of strength gap, the effect of the multiple seam shadow arrows cannot be said to be ideal, but it still bought Daolang a second or two of breathing time.

Taking advantage of the sword-footed centipede’s struggle, it quickly adjusted its body shape and escaped from the siege of the sword-footed centipede. The body of the knife-footed centipede is entirely composed of many sets of joints plus insect legs, and destroying one or two joints will have little effect on it.

Therefore, Daolang did not rush to attack the sword-footed centipede, but spread his wings and flew to the top of its head.

From this perspective, Daolang can make full use of his ability to fly to avoid being directly entangled by the body of the sword-footed centipede when swimming.

While Russell struggled to fend off the crazed blade-footed centipede, Jiang Xue was also trying her best to play her role.

After she directed Nurse Spider to hang up the lighting, she continued to fire paralyzing flying needles at He Qiu’er and He Xia.

Although this attack skill with minimal damage capability cannot penetrate the shield, it can at least prevent the Rusty Snail from using its hands to provide assistance to the Blade-footed Centipede.

After going back and forth, the two of them finally temporarily delayed He Qiuer’s attack.

In this confrontation of just over two minutes, both the Russells and the He brothers and sisters were secretly frightened.

Russell was surprised by the Gu Insect Master’s special method of controlling beasts, and the Gu Insect’s Furious Skill, which was as effective as the Sacrifice Skill.

Through a series of field operations and two gym battles that he barely managed to clear, he discovered that the water in this world of beast control was deeper than he thought, and it was not possible to walk sideways with just the talent of Evolutionary Cocoon.

However, this also aroused Russell’s passion to pursue a higher level and see a wider world.

He Qiuer was shocked by Russell’s strength.

Generally speaking, a fifth-level beast can defeat at least four or five fourth-level beasts without falling behind, relying on its advantages in energy and physical strength.

If the skill configuration is better, if you can’t hold it down and don’t get caught in the fire, it’s not impossible to beat ten.

It is not difficult to see from the fact that it only took less than 1 minute for the Blade-footed Centipede to successfully injure the Fighter Unicorn. Even a pet beast in the late fourth level is still relatively weak in the face of the serious fifth-level energy intensity. fragile.

What’s more, the Blade-footed Centipede is now in a state of violent Gu insect rage!
In the eyes of outsiders, the Gu Insect Violence skill is mainly about increasing the energy intensity of pet beasts and alienating the body. However, as a Gu Insect Master, He Qiuer himself knows that the effect of this skill is actually more than that.

Through the stimulation of parasitic beasts’ spirits by the parasitic Gu, not only will their physical strength be greatly improved, but their reaction speed, skill release speed and accuracy will also undergo qualitative changes, reaching the limits of their own race.

To put it simply, a parasitic beast that turns on the berserk state will completely transform into a highly efficient fighting machine within 5 minutes.

In the past experience of fighting against beastmasters of the same level, as long as He Qiuer was willing to sacrifice two or three months of cultivation progress, the parasitic pet beast after becoming violent could basically defeat the opponent.

However, her confident ultimate move was actually blocked by an early-stage fourth-level alliance beastmaster today? ?

Even if Russell’s pet beast is fighting two against one, even if the melee mantis has been adopting roaming tactics, and the other big moth has been using control skills to delay time, this fighting situation is still too outrageous.

Moreover, based on He Qiuer’s rich combat experience, it can be seen that the skill configuration of Russell’s two pet beasts is quite abnormal.

First, the big fluttering moth, which was suspected to be a UFO, but had a physical phantom and multiple spell-casting abilities, found an opportunity to attack in a sneak attack and injured He Xia.

After that, his silver mantis showed extraordinary melee combat skills.

At the speed at which the blade-legged centipede received the violent blessing, it was unable to completely wrap around it and apply its signature skill ”Blade Strangulation”.

What is even more puzzling is that as the fighting time prolongs, the attack power of this big mantis seems to be continuously increasing.

The chopping of its pair of blade arms, which was almost unable to break through the defense at the beginning, has gradually transformed into a carapace capable of damaging the blade-footed centipede.

A long-range attacker with multiple spell-casting abilities, ridiculously good movement skills, and a melee position that can continuously superimpose attacks. He uses a pure insect-type pet beast. When did the new talented boy in the Beast Control Alliance have such a character?
However, as the stalemate between the two sides continued, He Qiuer became more anxious after all.

Unable to quickly break through the obstruction of the broadsword mantis, the sword-footed centipede’s defensive power was greatly reduced, and he did not dare to withstand the Netherworld blast and go straight to Russell.

And after all, this battle was one against three, and she had to always be on guard against the nurse spider’s paralyzing flying needle sneak attacks.

Once the battle is delayed for more than 5 minutes and the violent effects of the Gu are over, the parasitic Gu that reveals its true form will have no combat effectiveness at all...

Thinking of the agreement between himself and the Fire Thieves, He Qiuer’s eyes flashed with fierceness, and he immediately took out a bottle of pure black potion from his waist.

The Gu Insect Master clan has been passed down for so many years, so naturally there is more than just the method of cultivating pet beasts.

In addition to the violent talent of Gu insects derived from the family bloodline, various secret medicines prepared against parasitic Gu are also an important part of the Gu insect master’s combat power.

As long as the sword-footed centipede drinks the secret medicine and superimposes the beetle’s violent state, its strength can even break through the sixth level in a short time.

Although this short time is really very short, maybe only about 30 seconds in total, the improvement brought about by level crossing is also very terrifying.

With the hard power of the early sixth level, even if the sword-footed centipede couldn’t wrap around the mantis, a powerful tail blow would be enough to knock it away.

As long as there is no obstruction from the melee beast, the sword-footed centipede can take care of the two enemy beast masters in the blink of an eye.

Unfortunately, He Qiuer still didn’t fully guess Russell’s strength.

Just when she was about to unscrew the bottle containing the black secret medicine, the body of the Blade-footed Centipede first trembled for a while, and then began to decay rapidly.

”How could the Gu insect collapse prematurely when it was in a violent state...?!”

Seeing this scene, He Qiuer, who had been keeping a cold face, finally couldn’t stand it any longer, and the words ”shocked” were written all over his wide eyes.

The 5-minute duration of the Gu insect’s rage is the most basic common sense among the Gu insect masters, comparable to ”1+1=2”.

She has used Gu Insect Fury more than ten times since she was a child, and it used to last exactly five minutes each time.

The battle lasted for less than 3 minutes, and the blade-footed centipede’s body suddenly reached its limit. This was something He Qiuer had not expected at all.

As the blade-footed centipede’s body cracked, a small black worm-like pet emerged from its head.

The little black insect seemed to be particularly timid. As soon as it appeared, it kept making weak and helpless squealing sounds, as if calling its own beast master to come and help.

Considering the special nature of the parasitic Gu, its appearance makes sense.

After all, this pet beast only has two skills, one is parasitism and the other is mental stimulation, and it has no combat effectiveness at all.

Even if it reaches the late fourth level, its combat power is no different from that of a big silkworm. An ordinary person can trample it to death with one kick.

”Admit defeat, we don’t want to kill you.”

Seeing that the opponent’s main pet beast had lost its combat effectiveness, Russell ordered Ayou and Daolang to stop their offensive, and then said to He Qiu’er with a smile.

At this moment, He Qiuer suddenly discovered that this Alliance beast master, who was wearing a handsome insect wing cross-country suit, looked completely confident, and there was no trace of the nervous look on his face.
