Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 204 Ice, snow and black wind, fighting fiercely across levels!Taking advantage of the darkness, Russell asked Ayou to condense a layer of shadow, covering himself and sneaking towards the rock wall quietly.

”Hold the nooses and wait until the black wind gryphon gets close before attacking!”

While walking around, he did not forget to give instructions to the people behind him.

Although the pioneering team had officially started taking action, they did not rush out and start fighting directly.

As a platinum-level pet beast of the wind system, Wings of Wind is a skill that all black wind griffons must master, and their proficiency is certainly not much lower.

If you are chased by such a pet beast in an open area, even if you split up and run away, you will definitely be caught up and defeated one by one within three to two minutes.

If you want to increase your chances of winning the battle, you have to find a way to attract the Black Wind Griffin.

The owl beast is also a raptor pet. As long as it shows up for a moment, the black wind griffon will regard it as an intruder seizing the territory, and will probably launch a direct attack.

In addition, the life energy level of the snowy wild beast is only at level five, which occupies a clear advantage in single combat. The black wind griffin will not be too vigilant and should follow it to the small woods in the middle of the valley.

Therefore, this job naturally fell on He Qiuer.

Seeing that everyone was taking action, He Qiuer commanded the snowy owl beast to circle around the grove in a carefree manner according to the pre-discussed plan.

Without deliberately hiding its figure, the Snowy Wild Beast’s snow-white feathers were particularly dazzling in the night forest. In less than ten seconds, it attracted the Black Wind Griffin that wanted to return to its nest.

Jie——!
Sensing that other carnivorous raptors were approaching his nest, the male black wind gryphon raised his head and roared violently, then quickly flew towards the snow owl beast.

Although Russell has faced sixth-level crystalline ants in the secret realm, the individual strength of the social beasts is still somewhat weaker. It is difficult for ant-like beasts of the same level to compete with griffins without engaging in group fights. .

Seeing the huge wingspan of the Black Wind Griffin getting closer and closer like a black cloud, he couldn’t help but feel the pressure coming towards him.

Fortunately, He Qiu’er was in charge of the frontal battlefield, and Russell only had to fish in troubled waters and steal the house.

Just as he was sneaking toward the rock wall with his shadow ability, the battle beside the woods was about to break out, and all kinds of energy exploded like fireworks in the night sky.

The first thing to pierce the night sky was the Black Wind Griffin’s wind entanglement skill.

As a pet beast that focuses on physical attacks, the wind attribute of the Black Wind Griffin mainly provides it with the acceleration skills of the wind system, as well as some control methods that the evil system lacks.

Wind entanglement is one of the skills with the best control effect among the mid-level skills of the wind system.

The principle of this skill is to create an irregularly churning turbulence that adheres to the target’s body. Although it is not considered a strong control, it can affect balance control and have the effect of slowing down or knocking down.

If hit by Wind Tangle, the Snowy Wild Beast will be caught up within three seconds, and then be violently attacked by a series of evil melee skills.

However, He Qiu’er, who was experienced in combat, naturally would not let this happen. The moment the black wind griffon took action, she had already issued an order to her pet beast.

”Snowy owl beast, freezing wind!”

Following He Qiuer’s instructions, the snowy owl beast also flapped its two pairs of snow-white wings as it fled, spreading a large white mist-like cold air to the rear.

In the blink of an eye, two air currents collided in the air, creating a cloud of ice.

Although the snowy owl beast’s hard power is one level lower than that of the black wind griffon, the freezing wind is an attack skill, and its power is already higher than that of the wind wind.

Moreover, the Snowy Wild Beast is a serious pure energy attack beast. In terms of pure long-range bombardment, its basic attributes even slightly exceed those of the Black Wind Griffin, which majors in physics.

Jie——

Seeing that the long-range blockade was ineffective, the Black Wind Griffin roared again and continued to mobilize the wind energy in its body.

However, this time he did not focus his attack skills outwards, but poured his wind ability into his wings.

Along with it, its wingspan not only expanded by a circle, but also seemed to become lighter. As it flapped, strong winds could be seen flowing nearby.

This is the very basic and extremely practical Wind Wings skill of wind pet beasts.

After using the Wings of Wind skill, the Black Wind Griffin’s already rapid flying speed increased again.

On the other hand, in order to obtain the ability of silent flight, the snowy owl beast’s flight feathers on its wings are much softer and more delicate than other raptors. Although it can fly flexibly and covertly, its straight-line flight speed is relatively slow.

Under the circumstances, in just five seconds, the black wind gryphon’s sharp claws almost reached the tail feathers of the snowy owl beast.

”Go!”

Seeing this, Lu Dahu quickly shouted to the team members, and then took the lead in throwing the noose in a round shape.

Fortunately, after this chase, the snowy owl successfully brought the black wind gryphon less than 20 meters away from the grove.

Everyone is a fourth-level beast master, and their bodies have been strengthened by multiple feedbacks. Even if they are not professional martial artists, it is still not a problem to throw a rope weighing twenty or thirty kilograms.

After him, Zheng Yu, Zheng Ping, He Xia and others all threw the nooses in their hands towards the Black Wind Griffin.

Following Lu Dahu’s guidance, they followed suit and rotated their bodies several times to let the noose rotate with the stone tied to the end, before letting go and letting it fly towards the target in the sky.

This was a move he had specifically explained. It was said that the rope thrown out would spin at high speed, and as long as it touched the Black Wind Griffin’s body, it would immediately wrap around it.

Sure enough, after Russell’s planning and Lu Dahu’s rich experience, these seemingly inconspicuous nooses really produced quite good results.

Jie——!
Suddenly seeing several long things flying towards him, the Black Wind Griffin was obviously startled.

Relying on the fighting instinct accumulated over the years, it subconsciously activated several wind blades in an instant, trying to prevent these unknown objects from approaching it.

Fortunately, several members of the pioneering team had already taken precautions against the black wind gryphons using their skills to attack the ropes. Their positions were scattered. Even if the opponent was a sixth-level beast, they were caught off guard and only chopped up two ropes. set.

The next moment, the remaining nooses hit the target one after another.

Moreover, Lu Dahu seemed to be very lucky today. The piece of rope he threw happened to be directly wrapped around half of the black wind griffon’s wings.

Although compared to its huge body, which is more than five meters long, the ropes look like wool ends, making it impossible to shoot it down directly.

But this rope entangled at least several of the Black Wind Griffin’s flight feathers, causing considerable interference to its flying ability.

Jie——!
Even though the male black wind griffon kept roaring and trying to tear off the burdens on his body, he still couldn’t stop his flight speed from plummeting, and his body fell from mid-air for a long distance.

In this way, it officially came within the attack range of everyone in the Chongwu House. With the intelligence of a platinum-level pet beast basically on par with humans, it was impossible to be hit by the same ambush twice.

After finally seizing the opportunity, everyone quickly summoned the contracted beasts and used various long-range skills on the Black Wind Griffin.

”Static Hedgehog, arc radiation!”

”Acid roaring viper, poisonous flying needle!”

”Snowy owl beast, blizzard!”

The release speed and trajectory of the electric skills were very fast. The static electricity hedgehog shook the light yellow spikes on its body, and more than ten beating arcs jumped over each other, crackling and hitting the black wind griffon.

The electricity type is also restrained against the wind type, and the static electricity hedgehog can enhance the paralysis effect of its own skills. Even with two levels of poor eyesight, the black wind griffon was electrocuted and screamed in pain.

Then, the poisonous flying needle of the Acid Roaring Viper quietly flew into the night sky and pierced its body.

As a skilled poison beast master, Zheng Yu had the Acid Roaring Viper shoot these flying needles at particularly tricky angles, almost all targeting weak joints.

The damage of this move is secondary, mainly due to the obvious pain effect, which can further reduce the Black Wind Griffin’s flying ability.

After this siege, the Black Wind Griffin’s movements were indeed deformed, and its flying height dropped to almost three to five meters above the ground.

However, due to the two-level strength gap, even if they had an absolute first-mover advantage, the Zheng family’s siege could only be described as interference, not damage.

The one that can really pose a threat to it is He Qiuer’s fifth-level parasitic beast.

Seeing the opportunity, the ice wild beast turned back directly. Snowflakes flew across the sky as it flapped its wings, mixed with hail and ice cones, and smashed into the black wind griffon.

This onslaught of mid-level ice attribute skills not only caused some superficial wounds on its body, but also directly covered the Black Wind Griffin’s wings with a layer of frost.

As the freezing effect continued to accumulate, the pioneer team was about to successfully shoot it down to the ground.

However, a mature sixth-level platinum-level pet beast is obviously not so easy to deal with. It only takes a few simple ropes and a round of mid-to-low-level skills to attack it, and it can be truly taken down.

After being defeated repeatedly, the black wind griffin only suffered some minor injuries. Considering the strong vitality of the sixth-level pet beast, such injuries not only did not affect its combat effectiveness, but completely angered it.

Jie Jie——!
After a particularly loud neighing, a strong black energy erupted around the male black wind gryphon. Not only did it instantly dispel the frost, but even the tree vines wrapped around it began to dry up, and soon it was almost gone. It broke and fell to the ground.

That is its racial talent, and it is also the main combat skill of the Black Wind Griffin clan - ”Black Wind Evil Aura”.

This is a very powerful dual-attribute skill. It can not only give it the abnormal resistance effect of being surrounded by evil spirits, but also allow the Black Wind Griffin’s attack to have the unique critical attack attribute of the evil system.

In the face of the obvious strength gap, the benefits brought by Yin people are limited after all.

It just activated its signature skill in anger, and the first-mover advantage accumulated by everyone was instantly wiped out, and it was about to face a very dangerous counterattack.

Facing the black wind gryphon charging towards him fiercely, and glancing at Russell who had just reached the bottom of the rock wall, He Qiuer had no choice but to stand up and inject a burst of purple energy into the body of the snowy owl beast.

Chirp-!
With the violent blessing of the Gu worm, the momentum of the ice wild beast, which was obviously weaker than that of the black wind griffin, suddenly increased. Although there was still a gap, it was already equal.

After receiving the blessing, the ice wild beast once again used its blizzard skill, rolling up the snow and sharp ice picks in the sky, and fiercely attacked the black wind griffon.

As a wild pet beast, although the black wind griffon is quite old and has quite a lot of combat experience, it has obviously never met a Gu insect master.

The snowy wild beast’s fighting power suddenly increased sharply, and before it had time to react, it was hit hard by the oncoming blizzard.

Facing the attribute-restrained attacks of pet beasts of the same level, even with the black wind evil energy protecting the body, the black wind griffon was still beaten up and bumped, and obvious blood marks even appeared on the wings that were concentratedly attacked.

However, after withstanding this long-range attack, the black wind griffin also rushed to the side of the snow owl beast with the acceleration of the wings of wind.

After being beaten for a long time, and finally seizing a chance to counterattack, the Black Wind Griffin naturally did not hesitate at all.

After closing the distance, it immediately condensed frightening evil energy on its two front paws and clawed hard at the snowy owl beast.

This is the classic skill of the evil system, ”Vicious Pursuit”. It can cause higher damage to targets who are running away from you, and it can also increase the chance of causing critical damage.

The black wind griffon was originally motivated by hatred, and even though its energy was at the same level, its bloodline level was still higher than that of the snowy owl beast.

When the claws went down, white feathers and blood flew up in the wind, almost piercing the snowy owl beast’s belly.

However, the snowy owl beast’s body will collapse in 5 minutes anyway, so He Qiuer won’t feel any pain at all when using it.

She directly ignored the trauma, which was indeed heavy but would not affect the release of energy skills in a short period of time, and ordered the snowy owl beast to continue using blizzard to attack the black wind gryphon.

But this time, the Black Wind Griffin was on guard. Feeling the uncomfortable chill rising around it again, the Black Wind Griffin immediately rose into the sky, and by the way, it fired a dozen wind blades downwards.

Although the Black Wind Griffin is not good at long-range attacks, it is a bit unrealistic to directly offset the blizzard with these wind blades.

But while it was keeping distance, it released some energy skills to offset the damage. Coupled with the black wind’s evil energy to protect itself, the damage caused by this round of blizzard was quite limited.

Taking advantage of the gap in the snowfield owl beast’s brewing energy, the black wind gryphon swooped down again and slapped it with a heavy gut punch.

Being attacked at close range again, the snowy owl beast’s blood-soaked body became even more broken. If it hadn’t relied on the vitality burning effect provided by the berserk rage, it would have died on the spot at this moment.

Feeling the snowy owl’s rapidly passing vitality, He Qiuer’s offensive became more and more fierce. The snowy owl almost withstood the black wind gryphon’s attack and exchanged injuries with it.

The Black Wind Griffin, who was eager to protect its lair, could not give in. It also took on many ice skills, just to quickly kill the owl beast that had intruded into its territory.

For a time, black and white feathers continued to fall from the sky, and the battle was fierce.

Since the energy aftermath caused by the battle between the two sixth-level beasts was quite intense, the long-range skills of the Static Hedgehog and the Acid Roaring Viper simply couldn’t fly past them.

The only demon dog that existed could not fly, so everyone could only watch as He Qiuer carried the heavy burden alone.

And everyone also knew very well that even if He Qiuer sacrificed the growth progress of her pet beast and used buffing skills at all costs, she could only last two or three minutes at most.

…………

While He Qiuer relied on the Gu insect to violently attack the Black Wind Griffin, Russell, who had been jogging for a long time, finally touched the bottom of the Griffin’s nest. (End of chapter)
