Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

173: Chapter 173 Yunnan TripAfter the New Year’s Day holiday.

That morning, Liu Yifei was all packed and ready. Dressed in a light apricot leisure suit with her long hair draped casually over her shoulders, she wore no makeup, yet she remained elegantly beautiful.

Today, Chen Mo was taking her to Yunnan to fulfill their promised trip.

”What’s the rush? The private jet is already arranged, and the business van has been sent to the airport in advance. We won’t be delayed.”

Chen Mo walked over, holding a light jacket. He draped it over Liu Yifei’s shoulders and said dotingly:

”Lijiang is warmer than Shanghai, but the temperature difference between day and night is large. Wear an extra layer so you don’t catch a cold.”

Liu Yifei looked up at Chen Mo and said happily:

”I’ve been looking forward to this for days. Besides, this is the first time you’ve taken me out on a trip just the two of us.”

”There will be plenty of opportunities in the future.”

Chen Mo ruffled her hair and said:

”Let’s go. The servants have already loaded the luggage into the car. We’re heading to the airport now.”

The two walked out of the manor side by side, where a black Starry Sky custom sedan was already waiting at the entrance.

Soon, the car arrived at the airport’s private apron.

On the apron, the flight crew was already waiting at the door. Seeing the two approach, they hurried forward to greet them.

Leaning against the sofa on the plane and looking at the white clouds outside the window, Liu Yifei said softly:

”You have to accompany me properly as we tour Lijiang, see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and visit Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake.

By the way, have you been to Lijiang before?”

”Never!”

Chen Mo shook his head and looked at her, saying:

”We’ll take our time. There’s no rush. We’ll visit every place you want to go and try every local snack you want to taste.”

”That’s great!”

Liu Yifei said cheerfully:

”I’ve looked up so many travel guides. There’s so much delicious food in Lijiang Old Town, and many beautiful little shops. Once we arrive, let’s visit the Old Town first, okay?”

”Whatever you say.”

Chen Mo nodded with a smile and said:

”Wherever you want to go first, we’ll go. I’ll follow your arrangements for the whole trip.”

The two-and-a-half-hour flight passed quickly, and the private jet landed smoothly at Lijiang Sanyi International Airport.

As soon as they stepped out of the cabin, a warm, moist breeze brushed against their faces, making them feel instantly refreshed.

Holding Liu Yifei’s hand, Chen Mo walked toward the plane’s cargo hold and said with a smile:

”Come, let me show you our company’s custom business van. We’ll head straight to Banyan Tree.”

Liu Yifei followed Chen Mo and saw the driver driving a black Starry Sky high-end custom business van out of the cargo hold. The vehicle was understated yet luxurious, with smooth lines and a grand presence.

”Is this our custom business van?”

Liu Yifei walked to the side of the van, touched the body, and said softly.

Chen Mo smiled and opened the door, making a ”please” gesture for Liu Yifei to get in first:

”I had it specially customized by our company. It has a lounge area inside, along with the light-colored cushions and cashmere blankets you like. It’s a half-hour drive from the airport to Banyan Tree.”

After sitting in the van, she turned to Chen Mo and said:

”Chen Mo, thank you. You’ve been so thoughtful.”

”No need to be so polite with me.”

Chen Mo sat beside her and said with a smile:

”I said I’d take you to relax properly, so naturally, I had to arrange everything perfectly.

Alright, let’s go to Banyan Tree Lijiang. We’ll drop off the luggage, rest for a bit, and then I’ll take you to explore Lijiang Old Town in the afternoon, okay?”

”Yes, definitely!”

Liu Yifei nodded excitedly and said:

”I can’t wait to see the Old Town. I want to try the Flower Cakes and Cross-bridge Rice Noodles there, and visit those beautiful little shops.”

The business van slowly drove away from Lijiang Sanyi International Airport, heading toward Lijiang Old Town.

The scenery outside the window gradually became more charming. In the distance were rolling green mountains, and nearby were well-arranged naxi ethnic group dwellings with gray tiles and white walls, complemented by mountain greenery. Occasionally, locals wearing traditional naxi ethnic group clothing could be seen.

”Look, isn’t the scenery outside particularly beautiful?”

Liu Yifei pulled Chen Mo’s arm and said softly:

”It’s just like what I saw in the travel guides—gray tiles, white walls, green mountains, and clear waters.”

”Hmm, it really is beautiful.”

Chen Mo followed her gaze and said with a smile:

”When we explore the Old Town, we’ll take our time looking and taking photos. We’ll record all this beautiful scenery so that when we come back in the future, we can reminisce.”

Liu Yifei nodded gently.

About half an hour later, the business van slowly drove into Banyan Tree Lijiang.

The manor-style hotel was quaint and elegant, perfectly blending the naxi ethnic group architectural style. The courtyard was filled with greenery and flowers, and the stone paths were bathed in warm yellow light, creating a cozy atmosphere. A faint floral scent lingered in the air, making one feel refreshed.

The staff hurried forward to welcome them, respectfully guiding the two to check in.

Stepping into the room, it was spacious and bright, with simple yet elegant decor. The oversized terrace faced the distant green mountains, and a gentle breeze blew through, carrying the fresh scent of the mountains.

Liu Yifei couldn’t wait to walk onto the terrace. She took a deep breath and said comfortably:

”This place is so comfortable. The air is great, much fresher than in Shanghai. Standing here, even my mood has improved.”

Chen Mo walked to her side, gently hugged her from behind, and said:

”I’m glad you like it. We’ll stay here for a few days and truly experience the vibrant life of Lijiang.

Rest for a bit first. This afternoon, we’ll explore the Old Town and fulfill everything you want to eat, see, and do, okay?”

Leaning in Chen Mo’s arms, Liu Yifei nodded gently and said happily:

”Okay, I’ll follow your arrangements.”
