Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

151: Chapter 151 An Eye for an EyeAs soon as these words reached the country...

...they once again sparked a massive public outcry across the entire internet!

”Laughable! An independent company? Who are they trying to fool?”

”So the whole world knows Blackwater and the US military are in bed together, but only you, the US Official Authorities, are playing dumb?”

”Can’t control them? Then stop issuing them licenses! Stop selling them weapons! Stop backing them up!”

”It’s typical hooliganism! This is blatant favoritism!”

”This is the responsibility of a superpower? Simply ridiculous!”

”Negotiations alone are useless; we have to take real action and make the US and Blackwater feel the pain!”

”Support a hardline stance! We Dragon Kingdom people aren’t pushovers; our injured compatriots’ blood cannot be shed in vain!”

Inside the office of Tianxing Group...

Chen Mo looked at the news online. Seeing the US side’s buck-passing attitude, he sneered and dialed Old Xu’s number again.

”President Chen!”

Chen Mo said to Old Xu:

”Old Xu, any results on the movements of the Blackwater mercenaries I asked you to scout earlier?”

Old Xu replied:

”President Chen, I’ve contacted all our safehouses and outposts in Africa and have figured it out!

After attacking the camp, that bunch didn’t go far. They’re hiding in an abandoned outpost on the Dragon-Africa border. There are about twenty of them, all elite mercenaries. They’re still eyeing our nearby infrastructure projects, likely planning to strike again!”

Hearing this, Chen Mo’s eyes filled with rage. The US government’s feigned ignorance had made the Blackwater mercenaries increasingly arrogant. Since reasoning was useless, they would speak with Riot.

Chen Mo then ordered:

”Good. Since we’ve located them, don’t be polite.

Deploy our personnel stationed in Africa, send the elites. Tell our men: however they ambushed our camp, we pay them back twofold!”

Old Xu froze for a moment, then said:

”President Chen, are we acting directly? These guys are Blackwater’s elites; should we bring in more manpower?”

Chen Mo replied:

”What f*cking elites? It’s exactly the elites I’m going after!”

”No matter who they are, anyone who dares to harm a citizen of our Dragon Kingdom will be hunted down, no matter how far away they are!

Old Xu, remember, the strike must be swift, precise, and ruthless. Annihilate this Blackwater squad; leave no survivors!”

Old Xu responded loudly:

”Yes, President Chen! I’ll arrange it immediately!”

”Mhm. Stay safe during the operation and protect our own people. Clean up the scene immediately afterward; leave no traces.

I want them to know full well it was us, yet be unable to find a shred of evidence!”

After speaking, Chen Mo hung up the phone.

Chen Mo leaned back in his office chair. Since the US side wanted to distance themselves, he would personally crush Blackwater’s arrogance. He would let the US know that the safety of Dragon Kingdom citizens overseas is not to be violated by anyone. Those who offend China will be punished, no matter how far away they are!

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held another press conference. Facing the persistent questions of domestic and foreign reporters, the spokesperson did not yield an inch:

”Regarding the unreasonable response from the US side concerning the attack on the Dragon-Africa infrastructure camp, the Dragon Side expresses strong condemnation and firm opposition!

The US side’s so-called ’private company, no government responsibility’ claim is a completely untenable excuse and an extremely irresponsible act of passing the buck!

Academi, formerly the notorious Blackwater, has long received capital support and equipment supplies from the US side. It is impossible for the US side to be unaware!”

”The Dragon Side once again solemnly urges the US side to immediately stop shielding and indulging overseas armed forces, to fulfill its responsibilities, to thoroughly investigate this attack, to severely punish the perpetrators, to issue a formal apology to the Dragon Side, and to compensate for all losses!

The lives and property of Dragon Kingdom citizens overseas are sacred and inviolable. Any attempt to provoke or harm our citizens will meet with the harshest retaliation and the price will be paid!”

In addition, the Dragon Side simultaneously took tough measures, suspending several non-governmental economic and trade exchanges between the Dragon Kingdom and the US, increasing security support for Dragon Kingdom infrastructure projects in Africa, and dispatching relevant personnel to assist in overseas security and prevention. These actions demonstrated the attitude of a major power, refusing to bow to the US side’s rogue behavior.

As the news spread, the heated discussions already taking place online reached a new height:

”The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is so tough! That’s how you hit back. That buck-passing rhetoric from the US side wouldn’t even fool a three-year-old!”

”Exactly. It’s their own mercenary company, yet they insist they can’t control it. They’re really good at playing the rogue!”

”Blackwater has always been a lackey of the US side. You think changing the name will wash it clean? Not a chance. Blackwater must be severely punished!”

”Suspending non-governmental cooperation between China and the US is a great move. We have to make the US side feel the sting, so they won’t dare shield the culprits again!”

”Our injured compatriots are still in the hospital. This blood debt cannot be simply brushed aside; the US side must provide an explanation!”

”The US side should hurry up and apologize and pay compensation! Don’t be a coward; if you’re not brave enough to take responsibility, what kind of superpower are you?”

”’Dignity only exists at the edge of a sword, and truth only within the range of a cannon!’ This saying is spot on; weakness doesn’t earn respect!”

”Support the country’s tough countermeasures! We can’t be soft-hearted toward such hooliganism; we must strike back hard!”

”The whole world sees it clearly: the US side is the mastermind behind the scenes. Don’t think you can distance yourselves; this isn’t over!”

”Seeing that ’not my problem’ look on the US side is truly nauseating. They have zero responsibility as a major power!”

”Upgrading overseas security is so timely. We must protect our compatriots abroad and not let them be harmed again!”

”Those who offend China will be punished, no matter how far away they are! I urge the state to investigate to the end and make the killers and masterminds pay!”

”Condemnation isn’t enough. We must use tougher means to make the US side feel the pain and make Blackwater fear us. Let’s see who dares to provoke us then!”

”Our Dragon Kingdom doesn’t look for trouble, but we certainly aren’t afraid of it. Whoever wants to bully us will pay a heavy price!”

”The whole internet supports the state’s diplomatic stance. The US side must face the problem, punish the killers, and give our compatriots justice!”

”The US side’s double standards are truly despicable. They shout about human rights while hiring killers behind the scenes. Utterly shameless!”

”We should be tough to the end and never compromise. Let the whole world know that the safety of Dragon Kingdom citizens is inviolable!”
