Chapter 382: Chapter 226: Look What We Found... A Wild Magician?! _3Today was their day for street broadcasting live interviews, the goal was to explore how the lives of the public had changed after the rise of the new Black Wall, but the show’s host and reporter, Mr. Koichi Kojima, unexpectedly chose B district.

As everyone knows, the level of public safety in B district is only second to A district; here, one hardly comes across many hotspots, nor will there be any sensational interview content.

”DEF district...” Kojima also realized, he seemed to have chosen the wrong area, but with the live show about to start, he had no other choice.

However, he certainly wouldn’t admit this was his mistake, so he retorted, ”DEF district? Don’t you know how dangerous that place is? If you run into a gunfight between hunters and gangs, you wouldn’t even know how you died.”

”Uh...” Ooishi was a bit stunned, ”but if we could broadcast a gunfight between hunters and gangs live, our show would blow up, right? The viewership figures would definitely multiply several times over.”

”Do you understand anything?” Kojima still didn’t let up verbally, bombarding him with words, ”If all we think about is becoming popular, what’s the difference between us and those entertainment shows? Our program ’Kojima Documentary’ is here to observe the many facets of society, not to chase after trendiness and traffic. You should know, although we have been categorized in the Entertainment Series, in reality, we should be a part of the Social Sequence, do you know what the Social Sequence is? The sequence that makes a great contribution to society...”

But Ooishi automatically blocked out Kojima’s latter words, his lips curling with disdain.

”Making contributions to society, huh? Is that something they would actually do?”

After all this talk, wasn’t it just an excuse found because they couldn’t make money and were marginalized by the TV station?

”So where do you want to go?” Ooishi, shouldering the camera, was already getting impatient. He was not weak, but anyone would struggle with all this heavy artillery.

He did want to switch to lighter, more advanced photography equipment, but as a third-rate Social Sequence photographer...

Did he have money?!

The TV station was even too lazy to provide them with a vehicle!

”Go to...” Kojima thought for a moment and actually came up with an idea, ”The hospital, yes, the hospital.”

”Hm?”

”Think about it, B district is right next to EF district, their hospitals are certainly not as good as B district’s, so if someone gets injured in that chaotic place, wouldn’t they come to the hospital?” Kojima grew more and more excited as he spoke, feeling like he was a genius, ”Going to the hospital for interviews could give us information about the EF district, right? And it’s not dangerous at all.”

”Uh... okay.” Ooishi thought for a moment and agreed.

However, he didn’t agree with Kojima’s view but felt that if they continued to wander the streets aimlessly, they would certainly encounter trouble.

With a new destination in mind, the two quickly hailed a cab to the hospital.

Soon, they arrived at the largest hospital in B district.

Like all hospitals in Lonely City, this one only provided emergency and surgical services, with routine medical care allocated to clinics within the neighborhood.

”Wait... Ooishi, look at that person...” Kojima squinted his eyes towards a figure heading deeper into the hospital, suddenly exclaiming with surprise, ”Isn’t that person that popular magician?”

And Ooishi also squinted, his vision was better, so he recognized the figure quite easily, ”Right, no mistake.”

”Let’s go, we’ll interview him, quick, keep up!” Kojima immediately became excited, feeling like he could finally catch the tail of viral fame.

The cameraman Ooishi still curled his lips in disdain; he didn’t understand what a magician had to do with a social documentary.

So Kojima was still chasing entertainment and popularity after all.

But he couldn’t be bothered to argue, because he was well aware that he couldn’t outtalk Mr. Kojima, who had formal training.

”Quick, turn on the camera, today’s live broadcast is starting early!”
