Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 742: Second Floor - The Orphan War (1)

[Planet Killer Dungeon - First Floor: Middle Island]

Vexthra stood atop a large rock overlooking a vast expanse of seawater like the goddess she was. Beside her stood Neomi and Princess Lovina.

”Unity should be done with her training soon,” Neomi commented, already looking toward what awaited them on the second floor. They had already spent close to a week on the first floor, so they wanted to move to the second floor.

However, with Unity training the secret archery technique they discovered on the middle island, they were forced to stay there much longer. Thankfully, a few hours later, Unity finished her training, and they were ready to get going.

The moment they were ready to move, Vexthra willed the tower, which opened a portal for them. They walked through it and, in the next second, appeared on a deserted battlefield, though not for long.

It was a vast expanse of battlefield, one that had witnessed horror, bloodshed, and carnage. Broken weapons lay strewn across the battlefield, and even though the battle had happened many years ago, the aura of death lingered.

Naturally, Neomi, Elaine, Velyra, and Lani felt at home. The death qi in the air filled them with strength. All four of them wanted to go crazy and slaughter.

However, aside from the aura of death, there was something else—something that made everyone feel a sense of injustice, as if something grim had happened on this battlefield before.

They felt the pain and loss, a feeling that drove them to want to know what had happened and put things right.

Meanwhile, Vexthra was busily reading the details of the second floor.

⟦Name: Planet Killer Dungeon⟧

⟦Floor Name: The Orphans War (2nd)⟧

⟦Power Level: Core Formation - Spirit Ascension (peak)⟧

⟦Description:

The first floor of the Planet Killer Dungeon is the battlefield of the Orphans. They fought for their place.

They fought without knowing their lineage. They fought for a sense of belonging, but in the end, it was all for nothing because they lost.

During the Althan war, the Orphans, tired of being suppressed by society, chose to fight back, and they did. However, the battle ended when they failed to bring down the three generals of carnage.⟧

Objective:

↠ You are the Orphans, children of the unknown. This war is yours, and under no circumstances should you fail. You must kill all soldiers and generals. Killing the general with the red eye patch is of great importance.

↠ The Orphans of Althan will never know peace until he is dead. The one who deals the finishing blow receives a special reward.

⟦Rewards⟧

↠ 1.2 Million Tower Points

↠ 1,900,000,000 Soul Essence

↠ Song of the Fallen

↠ Soul Lantern

↠ Bone Threads Tempering Elixir

⟦Note: All drops will be stored inside the Tower storage. Additionally, it is advisable to thoroughly explore the floors using the dungeon map, as there are hidden items that can only be discovered with detailed examination.

The map of the second floor will be activated after the floor has been cleared.⟧

Vexthra read the details and rewards with a calm expression. Kent made sure she had access to this aspect of the tower, so she was able to will a portal to open and even have access to the quest message.

”Gather around,” Vexthra said, and everyone moved toward her.

”On this floor, we are merely orphans. Our role is to face the soldiers of Althan and kill them, including their three generals. According to the objective of this floor, we must kill the one with the red eye patch in the most painful way possible.

Lovina and Velyra will handle him. Remember, he must die screaming. For the rest of us, let’s ensure the dreams of the orphans are fulfilled.

I don’t know how, but the soldiers of Althan will now be facing us, so let’s make sure they don’t meet the next army since this will be their death.”

Everyone smiled just as the temperature of the battlefield started to rise. They turned to the distance, and that was when they saw the mist coming.

From the mist came human soldiers charging forward with their swords, spears, axes, and other weapons drawn.

The sight would shake most armies, but those about to face these soldiers were already hungry for battle, so this was their moment to go crazy.

”I guess here we go again,” Kaizo grinned, flexing his fist. He looked to his side and saw Unity already ready to get into action.

’There are three generals. Elaine and Velyra will be handling the floor boss, who is the general with the red eye patch. This means the other two generals are like mini floor bosses.

I need to get one of them before Unity steals them from me again,’ Kaizo thought, and then he moved. Naturally, everyone already expected this, so when he moved, they followed.

[Thunderblast Clap]

Kaizo used one of his many skills to land the starting blow, blasting the battlefield with devastating consequences; however, instead of his clap affecting everyone, which in this case, his teammates, it was aimed at the soldiers of Althan.

A few died on the spot, while some were thrown into the air. However, they never landed since before they could even fully rise, arrows flashed out, taking them down.

Unity moved through the air, aiming her bow at a few soldiers who managed to evade Kaizo’s opening attack. At the same time, a wave of mind attack washed over the battlefield, striking the soldiers of Althan.

Zaila made her move and backed away, leaving the rest to her sisters.

Most of the soldiers lost their balance, allowing Selene and Val to make their move. The two swordwomen moved with the wind and unleashed dozens of sword slashes within seconds.

Selene was using the lunar energy flowing through her body, just as Val was doing. There was no moon up in the sky; however, their primordial spaces have many moons, so they weren’t running out of energy anytime soon.

But they weren’t the only ones having fun; Neomi was also moving like the angel of death. Wherever she moved, death and destruction trailed her.

Vexthra was at the back watching them with a calm expression. Since she was their leader and trainer, she observed them to identify areas where they were lacking, so she could help them later.

”Their limit is not in sight.” After watching them for a while, she smirked. Thinking they would have a hard time on the second floor was her looking for an excuse to strengthen their foundations further.

However, so far, she had seen nothing worth noting.

Just like that, they ensured the soldiers’ numbers thinned out and gradually decreased, until only a few hundred remained.

A few among the soldiers were already at the Spirit Ascension stage; however, they weren’t having much of a field day like they had expected.

However, when two soldiers clad in much darker armor appeared, everyone felt the overwhelming presence of their aura. They are much more dangerous than the ones they had killed.
