Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 741: Kent’s Dangerous but Brilliant Plan [Bonus]

[Elarion - Grand Jin Five Star Inn (VIP Private Room)]

It had already been five days since the competition.

The winners went to collect their gifts from the palace, as Lord Yael had instructed. However, instead of just the promised gifts, they walked away with more.

Of course, the Innate Talent Awakening Pill was made by Kent inside the tower, where time passed much faster than on the outside. In all, the winners walked away with the best treasures they could have ever dreamed of.

After that, Kent asked everyone to meet him at the Grand Jin Five-Star Inn in three days. That day was today.

Inside VIP Room 4, nine people were seated around a dining table, food served, but only one of them was eating.

That person, of course, was Kent, who, despite the tense atmosphere, remained unaffected. Arion, Cyran, and Helyra were there with him.

Norion, Madea, Elia, and Dorren were also seated, and the last person whose presence perhaps added to the tense atmosphere, Princess Elowen, was also there.

However, while her presence added to the tense atmosphere, it was more like watching Kent eat as if he were a beggar that left them tense.

They all expected him to be calm and collected, but the Kent they were seeing was easy-going and somewhat unruly. Of course, Arion, Cyran, and Helyra knew him better, but even so, they were a little taken aback.

”You know, I used to have this auntie... beautiful woman, puffy cheeks, and funny. She used to say those who don’t like food tend to grow lean to the point their bones become their flesh.

I don’t want that, and I know you all don’t want that, so why don’t you dig in? The food is rather delicious,” Kent said, smiling at the eight gathered in the room with him.

They made subtle motions, and eventually, they started to eat. It was a silent meal that lasted for 30 minutes. When they were done, they all turned to Kent. After all, he was the one who had invited them.

”Very well, I called you here for no particular reason but to inform you of a plan I have cooked up to get you all up to standard before entering the Flame Tower.

Of course, my main reason for calling you here is not centered around the Flame Tower but the Supreme Immortal Sect.

Although not all of us will be entering the Flame Tower or the sect, this plan will ultimately bring about some significant changes in this kingdom.”

Kent turned to Arion, Cyran, and Helyra and smiled. ”As we discussed, within a year, I will become a core disciple, and then I can recommend you three. So that is why you are here... to train with the best of this kingdom.”

The three nodded, but the rest, including the princess, raised their brows.

”You make it seem like becoming a core disciple is the easiest thing to do,” Princess Elowen said, shaking her head.

She acknowledged that Kent was a monster, but hearing he planned to become a core disciple in no other place but the Supreme Immortal Sect, she couldn’t believe her ears.

Norion, Madea, Elia, and Dorren felt the same. They didn’t see that happening...

”The last person said to have reached the Core Disciple stage fastest was the Pill Princess, but it still took her 15 years,” Norion added to what the princess said, which only made Kent smile.

”Well, I don’t plan on staying there for long, so a year is all I need to become a core disciple. Aside from that, why do you all think it’s impossible to become a core disciple in a year? I can become a core disciple at any time I choose.

When I am done with you all, becoming a core disciple won’t be something you have to fear. However, you will have to work for it, and it starts by handing over your soul flames.”

”What do you mean by handing over our soul flames?” Dorren asked. ”Without them, we wouldn’t even be able to enter the Flame Tower, much less comprehend a Flame Art.”

”I know, but if you want to get into the Supreme Immortal Sect, then you will have to do as I say. First, the soul flame you have isn’t the real thing. It is a flame spirit, something meant to be fed to actual soul flames.

This means the ones you all have don’t possess the ability to devour other flames and gain their Aspect abilities.

This also means that before you can grow stronger, you must change your soul flames at some point, which, if you cannot, would mean your journey would come to an end.

However, by awakening your own soul flame, your growth is endless.

Let me make something clear: when it comes to the path of cultivation, reaching the peak of Core Formation isn’t even a quarter of the journey, so it will be best if you all free yourselves of this limitation now.

I will teach you a method to awaken your soul flame, and then, before the Flame Tower opens, we will head to the Flame Valley to hunt flame beasts in the core region.

This way, by the time the tower opens, every last one of you entering will come out smiling.”

The room became quiet, everyone looking at Kent with varied expressions. What they had just heard was a brilliant plan, but as it turned out, it was dangerous—too dangerous to embark on.

What he said made sense. They knew there were limitations on their soul flames, so when they heard a fix, they couldn’t help but feel that this was the best thing that had happened to them.

”Can we really manually awaken our own soul flames?” Princess Elowen asked, and Kent nodded.

”You will be able to do it within a few days if you practice the method I will be giving you. That said, we should get started now, as it will take a couple of days to learn the method and apply it.”

They all nodded and then began the retrieval process, where each of them handed over their soul flames to Kent. After devouring them, he felt his soul flame move closer to the Tier 7 stage.
