Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 492: Vexthra, The Goddess of Hatred and Resentment

Lady Vari stood frozen as she locked eyes with Vexthra.

She was stunned, charmed, and in shock.

There were so many things Lady Vari expected to see in this life, but seeing a goddess wasnʼt one of them. And if that wasnʼt enough, seeing a goddess and then having her smile at her wasnʼt something she was expecting.

But Vexthra didnʼt mind that. She was now in the midst of her sisters. Something she had wanted for a while, so she was simply too happy.

However, Lady Vari wasnʼt as enthusiastic. Even if she was, she currently couldnʼt process such emotions. Her mind was in turmoil.

”Hi, I am Vexthra, the goddess of hatred and resentment,” Vexthra said, causing Lady Vari and the rest of the ladies to look at her.

This was their first time hearing her title or her divinity. She never told them that until today...

”Donʼt worry, it isnʼt as bad as you think,” Vexthra said, noticing the gaze from her sister falling on her.

”Join us. Kent told me you are his big sister, so I want to know you, considering your little brother is my husband,” Vexthra spoke again, making the ladies sigh.

They were planning on getting a deep dive into her divinity.

However, Vexthra had other plans, and that must be addressed first. Lady Vari took a deep sigh and sat beside Vexthra.

”I am sorry if this comes out rude, but how are you a goddess? I mean, how can a goddess—”

”Fall in love with such a brat,” Vexthra laughed, ending Lady Variʼs statement. She turned, looking at Kent, who was already cozied up in Maraʼs embrace as he got fed by Camilla and Lilian.

”No need to look at me like that. She fell for me so hard that if her fellow gods found out, they would never stop teasing her,” Kent said with a smile.

Vexthra smirked while Lady Vari became puzzled. She still couldnʼt understand how Kent had a literal goddess in his harem.

”Donʼt mind him. He is just a little brat.” Vexthra took Lady Variʼs hand and pulled her closer to her side.

”I became his woman because of his courage. When I met him, I wasnʼt someone anybody would want to talk to.

After all, my divinity is one of hatred and resentment, so talking to me wasnʼt an option. I mean, would you want to approach a god that knows only hate and is filled with only hate?

He approached me and even made a move on me. His courage was unlike any other.

Who would have thought a goddess would find her happiness in the arms of a mortal brat?” Vexthra laughed, and while the ladies could tell her eyes were filled with hatred and resentment, they were also oozing love and affection.

”Big sister, what does it mean to be the goddess of hatred and resentment?” Unity asked, trying to understand how any of this was possible.

Vexthra knew this was something that must be approached, so she decided to let the cat out of the bag once and for all.

”To become a god, there are two things. First, you must transform your immortal aura into a divine aura. You need to do this by undergoing seven different tribulations.

Once that happens, you will be called a Demi-God. This stage is basically where you get a taste of what having divine energy means.

Then from that junction, there are two paths. There are the gods and goddesses who choose to comprehend external laws like Sun, Fire, Moon, Water, Ice, Sword, Bow, and others.

Those are the external laws. If they succeed, their divinity will be named after their law. That is why you sometimes hear titles like Fire God, Moon God, Sword God...

Those are gods and goddesses who came about by comprehending external laws. However, there are others who use the Demi-God stage to get to know themselves.

The common term is sensing themselves. Itʼs basically like how one comprehends their realms.

If they like what they sense, then they must form a law, which is basically taking their own Law of Self—realm, feelings, wants, and everything they can understand about themselves, and forming a law from it.

Gods and goddesses who come about using this law are some of the most dangerous beings in the universe. Of course, the external gods like the Sword God, Fire God, Void God, and others are equally dangerous.

”But we, the Internal Gods, are much more dangerous. There are many technicalities to this. There can even be a Sword God who came about by comprehending their feelings.

I donʼt want to mess with your brains, so letʼs take things slowly. We have eternity to figure it out,” Vexthra said. The ladies nodded to that.

Strangely, Lady Vari nodded but realized her mistake the next second and turned her head down. She was clearly embarrassed.

”So, I am the goddess of hatred and resentment because that was me-or rather, that was the me I sensed during that critical stage. As such, I became the god that represents hatred and resentment.

My life is full of hate and resentment. I didnʼt know love, empathy, or anything that isnʼt hate and resentment.”

The ladies became quiet upon hearing her words. The only question in their minds was how a person could look within herself and only find hatred and resentment.

That had to be the saddest thing they had ever heard.

”So, I am basically a being of hatred and resentment. I thrive in that region. And well, because of that, I didnʼt have any friends for millions of years.

So do you believe me when I say I fell for Kent because of his courage?

He was a mere mortal when I met him, but that mortal changed my life, and while itʼs impossible to teach me love, he basically filled my life with an abundance of it.

Look at me now. I am in the midst of mortals who are usually easy to hate, but my presence isnʼt making any of you feel hateful.

This is what he did for me. He brought back what I had lost in my quest to become a god.

I can love now. So while he may be a brat, he managed to transform a literal goddess of hate by teaching her love, empathy, and kindness.

I say that is hot, donʼt you think?” Vexthra smiled.

The ladies, including Li Hua and Lady Vari, turned and looked at Kent.

However, all they could see was a brat enjoying all the attention he was getting.
