Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 478: Zareth Val’Drex, The Undying Undead

When Vexthra said Kaizo was the leader of the undead that came from the future to save the day during the primordial Era, Kent nearly choked.

He most definitely did not see Kaizo being the leader. The name Undying Titan sounded like a joke, considering the Brute loves nothing more than fighting and punching things.

Kaizo being a leader doesnʼt sound right.

However, witnessing him rising from the ground and charging back into the battle whenever Zareth strikes him down, Kent couldnʼt help but see something different in him.

Kaizo has an unyielding spirit.

Regardless of how dire a battle gets, he will stand tall and keep charging forward.

That is the true spirit of a leader.

Kent could only stand on the side and watch his undead and Veydris duel it out like they were each otherʼs enemy. After an hour, they took a break.

Naturally, Kaizo was against the idea of a break, but Zareth knew Kent was there for him, so he let him rest with a promise they would fight for an entire day after he was done with Kent.

”Great to see you are not bullying them,” Kent said, staring at his fourth Undead.

Zareth smiled, ”I am not a bully.”

He is a peak Root Sovereign, so letting him spar with the rest isnʼt something they can handle. Even Veydris, who is abnormally strong, cannot compare to Zareth.

He is that powerful.

”Letʼs talk over there,” Kent said as he started walking in a certain direction. They settled down on white stone.

”What can you tell me about yourself?” Kent wanted to know why he is a True Undead. He wants to know what difference that makes and why he is who he is.

”Well, I donʼt know anything aside from my nature as an Eldritch Warlock, master of the Coil Void Dragon and the Alasbaster Poison serpent, and the Curse Wizard.

Aside from that, everything else has been condensed in this memory crystal. Zarath retrieved a diamond-shaped crystal and gave it to Kent.

⟪That is indeed a memory, Crystal. Itʼs used to copy memories or store information you would want to keep for a very long time.⟫ Gaia described the crystal even before Kent could use the tower to appraise it.

⟪All you have to do is infuse your energy into it, and the information hidden inside will be transmitted to your mind directly⟫

”This is everything about me. I donʼt know where I came from, but I know it has everything you want and need about me,” Zareth said.

⟪It does contain everything, but only a few will be given to you. This Crystal contains a part of who he is and a connection that will later allow you to know more as he grows stronger.

You will know whenever something new happens to him, considering there is information about him and everything about his nature hidden inside this memory, Crystal.⟫ Dori, the mind weaver, corrected Zarethʼs words.

Kent nodded and then, without any hesitation, he infused his energy into it. As expected, his mind was filled with what he needed to know and do.

It was mesmerizing yet strange. However, Kent now knew all about Zareth and what had to be done.

”You have a true name but havenʼt been invoked yet.” Kent said, ”Why donʼt we handle that first?”

Zareth nodded and stood up. Kent, who was ecstatic about the outcome of this invocation, smiled and got into character.

Legend spoke of an ancient beast known as the world Serpent, a creature said to be as old as time itself. Legend says that this creature came into the known when the Ones were the only beings walking the void.

They are called the Walkers of the Void. It followed them out and chose to live in the world of living beings.

It was a beast blessed with both the bloodline of the Ancient Coil Void Dragon and the Alasbaster Poison Serpent, two of the most dreadful bloodlines in the beast raceʼs history.

Legend has it that when the Walkers died, the World Serpent had nowhere to go anymore, so it chose to sleep in a place that is still known as the Valley of the World Serpent to this very day...

It was said that after hundreds of thousands of years, it remained asleep only to be woken up by the hunters. This was the era when beasts nearly went extinct.

ValʼDrex was a demi-dragon.

He was half human and half dragon, so in the Dragon Empire, he sat at the bottom of the food chain. He held no value whatsoever in the grand scheme of things, so when the hunters came, he was left to fend for himself.

It wasnʼt easy for someone who couldnʼt even use dragon breath, so naturally, he was bound to die. And he did. However, in his last moment, he was saved by the worldʼs Dragon, who wanted one thing from him.

It saw his determination and chose to give him a second chance...

”The bond is simple, and it must be obeyed.

I will give you the power to overcome all your foes.

I will take you to the worldʼs end to inherit the ancient magic.

I will give you my two innate bodies as a form of protection.

You can use all my abilities if you are worthy.

All I ask is that when the Primordial Chaos Dragon shattered his soul on the eternal night of chaos, you must heed the called and respond to his summons.

Do you accept?” The World serpent asked.

”Yes, Ancestor...”

”Then you shall from now onwards be known as Ossʼkyr Vraegorith, The Ender Who Wakes the Blood of the Coiled Gods”.

Rise, Ossʼkyr Vraegorith, your legend has just begun,” Kent called out Zarethʼs true name. When he spoke the True Name, Zarethʼs body was swallowed in an eternal darkness, and he was pulled out of sight.

Then the entire Legend Tower grew cold.

Not the kind of cold that brushed against skin, but the kind that gnawed at the bones, at the soul itself.

The mist parted with a low hiss, and a figure stepped forward from within the swirling violet fog.

He looked imposing and well, and the two large horns on his forehead added to his imposing presence.

His warlock robe fluttered without wind, appearing to be an extension of something alive. He held no weapon.

His hair is silver-white and spiked. His eyes are serpentine—vertical pupils glowing amethyst.

A belt-like artifact sits on his waist—black metallic spheres embedded with serpent eyes, connected by arcane tendrils.

Suddenly, the space cracked behind him, and two large creatures appeared. One is a Large Dragon with eyes that reflect the void itself. The other is a serpent, also black but with pure white eyes.

They coil behind him, adding to Zarethʼs imposing presence.

”True Names are the best,” Zareth said with a small smile, looking straight at Kent, who was also smiling.
