Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 433: Memorization Trial

The moment Kent entered the room, he located table 46 and sat behind it.

Soon everyone was seated.

”On your table is a Memory Crystal housing 1,200 pill recipes. You have 25 minutes to memorize as many recipes as you can.

After 25 minutes, you will be pulled out, and then the scroll on the table is there for you to write as many recipes as you can within 2 hours. Those with less than 300 correctly recorded recipes wonʼt qualify for the next round.

Know that if within the 25 minutes you are confident you can write a minimum of 300 recipes, then you can start off, after which you wouldnʼt be able to enter the Memory Crystal again.”

”Your time starts now.”

When the time started, everyone hurriedly injected their spiritual energy into the Memory Crystal and started memorizing the recipes.

Kent waited for a few seconds, and after making sure everyone was busy memorizing, he also entered. When his spiritual energy entered the crystal, he was presented with 1,200 pill recipes.

He quickly went to comprehend them. However, 2 minutes later, he was done.

ʼThat canʼt be right,ʼ Kent said to the three ladies. Akira and Gaia turned to Dori, the mind weaver. This was her field.

⟪The master is not like everyone else. To most, their mind grows as they level up and grow in their cultivation. However, master, you were able to add points to it.

But on top of that, you are a genius. If you manage to comprehend seven skills in a single enlightenment, then this is but childʼs play to you.⟫

ʼHmm, I guess that makes sense. But to think 1,200 recipes can be learned just like that. It feels like cheating.ʼ

⟪The master shouldnʼt worry too much about that. You still have over 80 thousand points to add to your stats.

That alone should tell you who you are.⟫ Dori giggled, making Kent smile and pull his energy from the crystal.

He picked up the scroll and writing stick, which, thanks to Jest, he knew how to use.

He dipped it in the ink and started writing the recipes down.

He may have lied about his soul strength, but since this was about memory capacity, as a swordsman, he prided himself on his comprehension abilities, so he would show everyone what he was made of.

His writing abilities were also top-notch, so he wrote the recipes in the order they were given.

Fifteen minutes into the 25-minute period, Elaine also emerged from the memorization stage and started recording the recipes.

She was slightly shocked when she saw Kent already writing when she came out. But with her cold, emotionless expression, she started writing.

Annabelle was next, followed by Lucas, and then Seraphina, the disciple of the Queen of the Athea Kingdom. She was also a princess of the Athea Kingdom.

On the outside, everyone was watching with varied expressions.

They are in the room to cut off all noises and interferences from the audience.

Nobody expected Kent to start writing first. It was like he had declared he was better than the rest.

This only fueled the suspicion that he is the Perfect Alchemist.

After the 25 minutes were over, the contestants were ejected, as the elder had said. Then, for the next two hours, they each recorded the recipes they managed to memorize.

”Thank you all for taking the second test. Ten people couldnʼt fulfill the requirement of 300 recipes, so they are disqualified from the next trial.

The results for those who wrote over 300 recipes will be available within the hour. Go out there and wait to see who wins the second test.”

Kent left and went to his corner, where he started chatting with his ladies. Meanwhile, the seven geniuses started having a secret meeting.

”Do you think he can be the mysterious Perfect Alchemist?” Ragnar asked. ”So far, he has shown remarkable prowess that suggests he indeed is the infamous Perfect Alchemist.”

”Letʼs not jump to a conclusion yet. But even if he is the Perfect Alchemist, after this competition, his life wouldnʼt be the same again. So we can at least wait for now,” Annabelle said.

The seven geniuses nodded.

They knew of all the schemes in the world of alchemy, so they understood Kent wouldnʼt be having a good day if he was indeed this infamous Perfect Alchemist.

Meanwhile, the elder walked into the VIP room holding a scroll where the Saints were seated.

”My Saints, you have to see this.” He unfurled the scroll, revealing its contents.

”Is that—” Pill Saint Desmond opened his mouth to speak, but the words couldnʼt come out.

”Yes. The contestant, Kent Madson, managed to memorize and record all 1,200 recipes,” the elder said, making the Pill Saints turn and look at each other.

”This canʼt be real, right?” Pill Saint Enex asked.

”Itʼs right in front of us, Enex. What else is there to doubt? We should be asking whether to announce the results as they are or if we should do something about it,” Pill Saint Evilyn said.

”We all have our suspicions about that kid, so announcing his true results will make those keeping a close eye on him suspicious.

”So why donʼt we make him take the second spot or perhaps the third? This way, we can protect him now,” Pill Saint Barton said like a righteous sage.

”During the concocting trials, if he has the capabilities, he can display them.”

They all nodded. However, the look in their eyes said something else.

ʼWith such a talent, I wonder what grade his Spirit Root is at the moment,ʼ Pill Saint Barton wondered, looking toward the purple-haired brat with hidden intentions.

”Give him the third spot,” Pill Saint Riva said, making the elder nod. Under normal circumstances, he shouldnʼt have brought this to them, but today was different.

Memorizing over a thousand recipes isnʼt as simple as one might think. So it came as a shock, and now he knew why.

A few minutes later, the results were displayed.

Elaine was first.

Annabelle followed, and Kent became third with 450 recorded recipes. He could only smile happily while he continued to uncover things.
