Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 408: The Wicked Poison Witch’s Secret {Gift Bonus - }

While Kent was getting intimate with his new wife, the outside world underwent many changes.

First, a week ago, the people camping at the sectʼs entrance left because they realized Kent never planned to see them.

Most had come to form alliances, while a few sought the treasures that had belonged to their family members who had gone against Kent.

These people were simply shameless, knowing full well that asking for such things would only invite trouble with Kent.

But he didnʼt even bother to acknowledge them, as he never had their treasures to begin with. They had all been sent into the Necro Forge, and the few remaining would follow soon enough.

They can come ask Kaizo and Sylara for them, for their treasures were used to create them. Wouldnʼt that be a sight to see?

However, the moment they left, they began plotting how to kill him, unwilling to let him go unscathed. Of course, a few kept track of when he would appear.

If only they knew that the Kent they once feared had become even more terrifying, perhaps they would accept their loss and go cry to their mothers.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Eldorath, the wicked Poison Witch had seated her disciple down for a serious conversation.

”Annabelle, what do you think of that boy, Kent?” she asked. When the words left her lips, Annabelle clenched her fists in anger. Her face revealed that she really hated Kent.

”I will kill him. That bastard dared to disrespect you,” she gritted her teeth, but a sudden slap landed on her cheek before she could say another word.

”Are you stupid? Do you want to die?” her master said, making Annabelle frown.

”Master… You…” She didnʼt know what to say. This was the first time her master had ever struck her, and from the look in her eyes, she could tell she was serious about it.

”Havenʼt you heard what went down between him and the Evil Sect? If you donʼt know, then I will tell you,” she sighed, her mind drifting back to that battle.

Before that battle, she had planned to use the opportunity to poison Kent if an opening presented itself.

Of course, since his life was linked to her discipleʼs, she had only intended to plant the poison. If he somehow managed to survive and later removed the link as he promised, she would kill him.

The seal only prevented her from killing him directly, but others could, and her disciple would remain unharmed, so she had counted on that.

However, things hadnʼt gone as she expected. Instead, she witnessed something that made her blood run cold.

”That battle opened my eyes. Do you know that brat singlehandedly killed multiple Transcendents like they were mere bugs?

He slaughtered them, and I couldnʼt understand just how. But when he faced off against Evil Bat, the current sect master of the Evil Sect, I realized that if he wanted you and me dead, he could do it effortlessly.

So for your sake and mine, donʼt do anything that will bring down his wrath upon us—or worse, on everyone you care about and love, including your family.”

Annabelleʼs body shuddered at her masterʼs words. The last thing she wanted was to bring doom on her master and family.

She had heard rumors about the battle between Kent and the Evil Sect but never truly believed them. Now, hearing it from her master, she couldnʼt help but wonder—just who could be that monstrous?

”Just stay away from him during the Pill Master Competition. He will also be participating, so do your best to mind your own business.

Once he removes the seal, we will never interact with him again, for that kid is terrifying. He also has powerful aides and a good relationship with the Master of the Silver Leaf Auction House.

We cannot afford to offend them.”

”Okay, Master.” Annabelle loved her master, so hearing her words, she knew she had to swallow her pride and perhaps never think of Kent again.

But deep down, she also knew she had to get back at him somehow. Hearing that he would be participating in the Pill Master Competition, she decided—at the very least, she would win and rub it in his face once she was free of the seal.

But as if the universe were plotting against her, Annabelle would have a nasty evening when Kent made his presence known as the perfect alchemist.

After Annabelle left, her master sighed.

”What a headache!” she muttered. ”I shouldnʼt have spoiled her if I knew days like this would come.” She sighed again and walked away.

She went to a room and sat in front of a mirror. Her wrinkled reflection stared back at her, showing how tired she was.

A few minutes passed, but she continued to gaze at herself.

After a while, she sighed, closed her eyes, and muttered a few words.

A few seconds later, her body began to change.

A minute later, a new person sat in front of the mirror—a stunning woman completely unlike her previous form.

She now had flowing blue hair and striking blue eyes, and the aura around her had shifted. No longer did she carry the presence of a Root Transcendent stage cultivator.

Instead, it was clear—she was a Root Ascension stage expert, sitting at the peak.

”Itʼs been so long that I even forgot my own face,” she murmured, her voice now different, reflecting the transformation.

The disguise she wore was known to only one person—Kent.

Back then, when she came to kill him at the sect, Kent saw through her deception.

He even looked deeper and realized she wasnʼt just wearing a disguise—she was wearing someone elseʼs skin. That was why he hesitated when he could have killed her.

Pill Saint Riva gazed at her reflection for a few more minutes before taking out a small painting of a woman. A single tear fell from her eyes as she looked at the familiar face.

”Mom...” Her voice was faint but heavy with emotion.

”Soon, I will kill every last one of them, even if it is the last thing I do.” Her fists clenched, dark veins surfacing on the back of her hands.

She sighed as she noticed them.

Kent told her she was poisoned, and he had been right. The wicked Poison Witch was only born to become a poison alchemist for one reason—to find a cure for the poison running through her veins.

But even after several decades, she had never succeeded in that endeavor.

This was the only obstacle standing between her and her dream of exacting vengeance on those who had killed her mother and poisoned her.

”I really hope Annabelle does nothing stupid… so I can perhaps ask for his help,” she sighed, then transformed back into her wrinkled form and walked away, once again taking on the guise of Pill Saint Riva, the Wicked Poison Witch.
