Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 373: Who Is the True Evil (1)

”Thunderclap!”

Kaizo shouted, jumping high into the air as he unleashed a powerful clap that shot a thick lightning bolt, landing heavily on a dome created by the sect master.

The next second, Kaizo moved with a thunderous boom, unleashing a powerful punch that shattered the dome into countless pieces.

”Rapid Slash!”

Before the sect master could recover from Kaizoʼs punch, 450 sword arcs rained down on him, pushing him back a couple of meters.

The sword arcs fashioned from sword qi landed a few cuts on his body. This caused his fury to explode even more.

Kent and Kaizo decided to start the battle with punches and slashes instead of talking it out with the sect master, who was doing his best to understand where it all went wrong.

He had been careful, making sure nobody suspected a thing, but in the end, he was found out. The most painful thing was that he never suspected a thing.

That was just too painful for him, for he never knew all these years that his cover was blown and that the people he was close to were the same people who would bring his downfall.

Perhaps it was out of guilt, but he saw the two gate masters as her main allies inside the sect.

Of course, he knew nothing about the relationship between Mara and Nara, but he trusted her mainly because Camilla was with her, and he knew it was thanks to her that Camilla recovered after her disciple died.

So he saw them as her allies, but he never expected them to know of his treachery all these years.

Now, swinging at him was the disciple he had next to be added to his collection of geniuses, and he just didnʼt know what to think.

He was making preparations to go after Kent and add him to his blood banks, but now, the same brat was giving him a good beating, and he just couldnʼt wrap his mind around it.

”Quaking Fist!” Kaizoʼs fist grew as he charged at the sect master.

Boom!

His fist landed on a defensive barrier, shattering it yet again.

This time, the sect master was a step ahead and waved his staff, forcing a wraithlike figure to appear and charge at Kent, who was moving toward him.

He knew if the brat and the brute kept him contained for a few more minutes, he wouldnʼt have a chance to change the scene of the battle, so he unleashed his trump card.

”Kaizo, handle him for now. Iʼll deal with this thing first,” Kent said as he moved back and studied the wraithlike figure.

He scanned it with his Enchanted Eyes.

⟪Name: Evil Soul Spirit⟫

⟪Grade: Peak Transcendent⟫

→ An evil Soul Spirit formed from using a ritual that combined the souls of 10,000 unwilling beings.

→ It possesses the powers of all the beings added and can take any form it desires.

”That is just too evil yet genius,” Kent muttered.

An evil smile appeared on his face as he swung his sword, sending arcs at the evil soul spirit. However, just when the attack was about to land on its body, the evil soul spirit dispersed into a mist of shadow, evading the attack.

It then became whole again and charged at Kent, forcing the dragon to move back once more. The soul spirit was no small foe.

But Kent didnʼt allow the setback to impede what he had in mind for the sect master. His plans will never change.

Since the sect master had only brought out a single soul spirit, it likely meant he could only summon one at a time.

But he also had to find a way to kill it. Of course, as an Alchemist, he knew how to purify things, so he knew what to use against such a spirit.

”In that case, why donʼt we heat things up?” Kentʼs sword was engulfed in flames as he took aim at the wraith again. This time, his attack landed, causing the spirit to screech in pain.

”That works,” he said, moving in.

The next second, the sky was filled with blue flame arcs. He was using his pill flame, the Blue Void Flames, so the hits hurt quite a lot.

He turned and glanced at Kaizo, smiling.

Kaizo was relentlessly punching the sect master, forcing him to create one defence after another.

The sect master was gritting his teeth, sweat dripping down his face as Kaizoʼs fists rained down like a storm.

The brute who had suffered at the hands of Veydris and Sylara was exacting his revenge on the poor sect master.

Each punch cracked the air, sending shockwaves that shattered the ground beneath them. He jumped up and struck his fist forward.

The sect master raised his staff, summoning a glowing barrier, but Kaizoʼs strike smashed through it like glass. This forced the sect master to move back and start distancing himself from the brute.

”You canʼt keep running!” Kaizo roared, his body crackling with lightning. He leapt into the air again, his fist glowing with raw energy. ”Thunder Hammer!”

The sect master barely dodged, the ground exploding where Kaizoʼs fist landed. Rocks and dust flew everywhere, but the sect master didnʼt let a small opening that appeared go to waste.

He swung his staff, and a wave of dark energy surged toward Kaizo. He crossed his arms, blocking the attack, but the force pushed him back several feet.

Meanwhile, Kent was locked in a deadly dance with the evil soul spirit. The wraith lunged at him, its claws slashing through the air.

He sidestepped, his sword trailing blue flames. He swung, and the flames engulfed the spirit, making it screech in agony. But it reformed instantly, its shadowy form twisting into a monstrous shape.

Kent didnʼt want to admit it, but he envied the sect master for having such an evil entity. Killing it was proving to be more taxing than he expected.

”A valuable minion to have. Too bad you were made by a scum,” Kent muttered.

He raised his sword, and the Blue Void Flames surged brighter. ”Letʼs see how you handle this!”

He slashed downward, and a wave of blue fire erupted, engulfing the spirit. The flames burned hotter, turning the air into an inferno.

The spirit writhed, its form flickering as it tried to escape, but Kent didnʼt let up. He swung again and again, each strike sending more flames to consume the wraith.

The flames were the only things affecting it somewhat, and Kent was doing his best to handle it so he could get back to the plans he had for the sect master.

Meanwhile, far from the battlefield, a beautiful lady clad in dark clothes and covering her hair with a dark cloth stood calmly, watching the battle unfold.

She was the Kingdom Protector who had befriended Kent.

”Looks like your time has come, Victor,” she muttered. ”So much potential, yet wasted in the pursuit of power. At least your death wonʼt be a huge loss to the kingdom.”

She sighed in her heart and continued to watch Kent and his undead trash the sect master Victor, the once-genius who turned to evil simply because he was cuckolded.
