Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 357: Challenging The Second Level of The Sword Bridge

The wounds on his body were all healed instantly.

And it wasnʼt his healing abilities that came into play.

No, the moment the battle was over, all the wounds he had sustained were healed. And, as if he had fought many battles before, he instantly gained mastery he never thought possible.

”Damn, this is the best cheat one could ever ask for.”

Kent received the sword mastery that used to belong to the clone. Now feeling it in his bones, he knew it was more than he could have asked for.

The clone had perfect control of its skills and the sword. So, receiving its mastery was something worth celebrating.

Kent, who knew just how much he had been lacking, was now smiling, for he had closed that gap.

The feeling he was swimming in now was that of having the confidence to defeat the clone again in under a minute—if this were him before the duel.

”So, if I am not mistaken, the sword path is, first, to improve my swordsmanship and, second, to give me the mastery of the clones, which are far superior to me in all aspects.

And lastly, to gain the Split Body Sword Skill, which, from the description, will keep improving as the duel continues,” Kent sighed with a smile.

”And I still have 12 more duels to fight.” He clenched his fist in anticipation as he read about the Split Body Sword Skill.

⟪Split Body Sword Strike⟫

→ By utilizing sword qi and intent, you can create a copy of yourself that will possess all your skills and abilities and can be used whenever you deem necessary.

→ Until you deem it necessary, it will remain hidden from your opponent.

[Note: You can only split your body in two at this level of mastery. Passing more levels of the sword bridge will give you the ability to have more mastery over the skill]

”Wait, so basically, if the next level can split its body into three, after winning, I will also earn the three-way splitting,” Kent asked himself, already feeling the headache coming.

⟪This also means the next level will have a more advanced level of your skills, and aside from its already superior strength and mastery, it will also have superior mastery over the Split Body Sword skill

The master has discovered the secrets of the sword bridge, but the next level will be a test to see just how much you can use the sword and how well you can adapt in battle.⟫

Gaia appeared in the air, smiling at Kent, who looked back and smiled. Though what Gaia just said means he will be fighting a rather monstrous version of the clone, his rewards will also be generous.

Plus, he was happy to see the Cosmic Loli finally appear after being away for months based on the tower time.

”You are finally here?” he asked.

⟪Yes, master. I am done with the remaining projects, except for the two you recently gave to Akira. Also, she told me you have a method to create the tower city.

And since you still havenʼt rewarded me yet, I was hoping you would give me that as a reward. I will have a better use for it than you could ever dream of. After all, I am a cosmic weaver.⟫

Gaia smiled, extending her hand toward Kent, who could only curse at the cheeky anime lady who just had to run her mouth.

”Actually, I want you to have it. This way, you can create a vibrant city in the next five days. This means you have more than enough time inside the tower for this very important project.

But I want it done before the rescue.” Kent sighed and handed her the Tower City Builder Token. Gaia is a cosmic weaver, so she is perfect for making the city look grand.

And he wants it grand before the two ladies are out of the cave and cages.

Since he promised Camilla and Mara that he would create a space for them to spend with the two ladies, he would make it happen.

⟪I will do my best, master. But after you are done, you can take your ladies to their various training spaces. You are the master of the two, so you know and can go anywhere.⟫

”Thank you, Gaia.” The cosmic loli vanished, leaving Kent to ponder what to do next.

He had already seen how amazing the sword bridge was, and now, he couldnʼt help but want to get down to business.

If the first level was this rewarding, then what would the second level be like.

”Dying the second time wonʼt be bad if it will allow me to at least know more about the next challenge and what I would be going against.”

Kent accepted this reasoning, and so, taking his sword, he moved. Soon, he was inside the second level.

This time, a copy of him in green armor appeared, holding a green sword sheath housing a sword. Everything was the same as Kent except for the color.

Of course, he could tell the strength inside this clone was much stronger than the white clone. This means he is about to face a more advanced version of his perfect self.

The moment the clone appeared, a powerful sword qi and intent exploded out of its body, shaking the ground beneath Kent.

This forced him to move back, narrowly evading a dark shard aimed at his chest. The clone attacked instantly, taking him by surprise.

”Damn, that was aggressive.” He moved to the side, and before he could land on the ground, another shard shot out of the ground.

This time, he blocked it with his sword sheath, pushing him back a few meters. The force behind that attack was so great that he had to retreat several meters just to stabilize himself.

But the moment he stabilized, he felt something lock onto his body. That was when he saw the clone raise its sword.

The sword was bathed in green sword qi, and from the look of things, it was level 8 sword qi, meaning Kentʼs level 6 was insignificant in comparison.

The clone slashed its sword, unleashing a wide but thin vertical sword arc that flashed toward Kent, threatening to split him in half vertically.

But he didnʼt just stand there and wait to be killed.

Kent also channeled his sword qi and imbued it with intent, taking a horizontal swing that released a sword arc. It instantly clashed with the cloneʼs vertical arc.

Kent quickly realized his sword arc was weaker, so he activated the True Despair Sword Strike, which managed to neutralize the attack.

But the moment that was dealt with, he noticed something that sent a chill down his spine. The clone was nowhere to be found.

It had literally vanished, and from how it happened, Kentʼs blood ran cold. He knew this battle was not on the same level as the first one.

In fact, this battle was on a level he could never have anticipated. While the previous clone used both sword intent and qi for its attacks, this one used only sword qi, yet Kent had to use both to counter it.

This means if it were to use both sword qi and intent, things would become much more intense.

And now, it had vanished, possibly using the Split Body Sword Strike.

Kent narrowed his eyes, and then his eyes widened...
