Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 365: The Princess of War (1)

Vashrakar, the city of the strong.

That was the city where the War Princess was born. Her father was nonexistent. Her mother was a soldier blessed with the speed of an eagle.

She was called the Iron Fang Eagle, for her presence was like the passing wind in battle. She was the bringer of death to the battlefield.

Her mother had just led her soldiers to victory the day Shara was born. They said during the battle, her water broke, but until the last soldier was stabbed through the heart, she held back.

Shara was a war child, for she was born in war.

They called her the War Child, Daughter of battle.

She picked up her first weapon when she was seven and took her first life when she was nine.

That day, it was kill or be killed, for when her mother was betrayed and injured in battle, she carried her using all her strength. On the run, she had to make a bold choice.

Her mother watched her vomit her intestines out after she killed her first human.

But the next day, she had to kill three more. Within a week, she killed her first ten humans and started liking it.

The irony.

Many mothers become proud of their daughters when they get married into good families or when they come of age and manage to enter sects that teach good manners.

But to Zhara, she saw her daughter drive her spear through the heart of a fellow human, and at that moment, she knew she had given birth to a child of her own image.

She became happy.

She was proud of her daughter.

So she made the ultimate sacrifice as a good mother, and for years, she and her war child trained and killed their fair share.

By the time Shara turned eighteen, she had killed thousands.

Then, her mother became sick and was dying.

However, in her last moments, she gave Shara the token of their lineage. For a long time before her birth, the RakʼVhara race had dominated worlds and starfields.

The token led her back to her lineage, where she entered the Trial of the Awakening. She was thrust into a world of torment with 10,000 others.

365 days later, only she walked out, and since that day, she began to walk the path of the RakʼVhara. She became who they called the Lover of Wars.

She wielded a spear that changed from black to red, for the blood of her enemies altered its colour. They called her the Reaperʼs Advocate.

The Mother of Killers.

The Warbringer.

The Harbinger of Death.

Then, her legend came to an end. Like every legendary tale, Shara made the ultimate sacrifice when she chose to march into battle and never returned.

Her legend was written in the blood of her victims.

They called her Shara, but the universe deemed her fit to become a martyr in her last moments, so she was named Rakshasa, the Warbringer.

The legends speak of her return. They say the day she awakens, all battlefields will fall silent for a moment, for the one whose name was used to name wars will be reborn.

On millions of battlefields raging on across the universe, they all became still for a few moments.

Kent was staring at the red sky, and for a moment, his mind was pulled back to a realm he hadnʼt been to before. When he returned, a four-armed weapon spirit was hovering before him.

”My lord, I advise you to evacuate your ladies from here. The master is awakening, and while it will be a sight to behold, the awakening of Rakshasa is not something mere mortals can comprehend,” said the weapon spirit Neomi had brought back from the realm of enlightenment.

Kent needed no second reminder to understand the truth in her words. The feeling in the air was indeed abnormal.

”Ladies, go for now. Gaia will ensure you can watch it.” They nodded, and Kent moved them to the Body Tower.

A screen appeared before them and they began to watch the events happening inside the Harem tower.

”Now what?” Kent asked.

”The Lord might want to draw his weapon,” the weapon spirit said. Before she could finish, a spear appeared in front of Kent.

From the moment Neomi ascended into the air, a red cloud enveloped her, preventing anyone from seeing what was happening. So when the spear came, Kent was caught off-guard.

But he reacted quickly and blocked it.

”What in the hell?” Kent was dumbfounded when he felt his body stiffen right after deflecting the spear.

He quickly used the Rule Breaker skill he received from Selene, cancelling the effect that had trapped him.

He was quick enough, so the attack meant to take his life was parried away. But the moment he parried that attack, the mist cleared.

That was when the face of his attacker appeared, and it wasnʼt a friendly face.

The lady was clad in spiked armour made from what appeared to be leather, yet it looked and felt metallic. The spear in her hands was red, and the look in her deep red eyes was anything but friendly.

”Those are the eyes of a killer,” Kent thought. For some reason, he recognized that look, and his heart shook.

”Lady, what the hell is going on?” Kent turned to the four-armed spirit hovering in the air, watching the battle as if it didnʼt concern her.

”Rakshasa was a child of war. She died in war, and now that she is awakening, she craves war.

Your job is to ensure she doesnʼt succumb to her bloodlust. In other words, you must wake her up before she slips into a state she can never return from.”

”I see,” Kent said. He didnʼt need to be told twice. The lady in the air is his woman. Failing her was the last thing he wanted.

He knew what the four-armed spirit said was plausible, so he sighed, and with a thought, his clothes transformed into form-fitting battle armour made from metallic cotton.

The armourʼs extra abilities allowed it to take on any appearance and form he could imagine, so he harnessed its power.

Then, his eyes turned dark gold as two dragon horns emerged from his forehead. The claws on his right hand extended and melded with his sword.

His skin was soon covered in dark gold scales. The battle he was about to fight required him to be at his peak.

The lady before him exuded a presence that Kent recognized as that of a menace. He looked up, and a smirk appeared on his lips.

”Hello there, my love. Forgive me for what I am about to do, but this is for your own good.”

His smile widened, and then, with a movement of his chest and shoulders, two pairs of dragon wings burst from his back as he took to the air.
