Earth's Greatest Magus

After leaving the vault, Emery noticed a large group of warriors gathering in the Golden Mansion yard. They were all engrossed in rigorous training, preparing for the upcoming pirate battle. The air was thick with determination and the sounds of clashing weapons.

From the crowd, one figure emerged, striding purposefully towards Emery. It was Izzak the Unbreakable. The magus approached Emery with a serious expression, causing Tessa to be concerned and Morgana to be on alert. However, Izzak’s actions were unexpected. He gave a respectful bow to Emery before requesting a moment to talk.

Emery, who was impressed by Izzak’s formidable strength, decided to listen. The magus began to speak about the Magus Universe Infinity Arena, a topic that piqued Emery’s curiosity. Izzak explained that the arena was a prestigious battleground where the universe’s top magus competed, testing their skills and pushing their limits.

“I have seen your strenght,” Izzak said, his tone earnest. “I am curious to see how you would fare against the universe’s finest”

Emery was very interested in visiting such a facility. The arena operated like Magus Academy privileged class ranking, where magus challenged one another. There was a large amount of betting involved, and every year, the top 10 defending champions would receive great rewards from the arena and reputation. Emery hadn’t given it a try because it only accepted full moon magus to participate.

Izzak was shocked to learn that Emery never participated because he had just recently broken through to the full moon realm.

“You have to give it a try… perhaps I get to fight you again in the arena,” Izzak said before returning to his training.

Emery watched Izzak rejoin the Karat’s group, his mind racing with possibilities. The recent battle against the Grand Magus had been a stark reminder of the need for constant improvement. Emery knew that facing the top magus in the universe could be a way to push himself to new heights. The Infinity Arena sounded like a perfect place, the structured competition and the chance to gain significant rewards were also incredibly appealing.

However, such a plan would be held for now, as he still had many things to deal with. Seeing how busy the Karat faction was in preparing for the pirate’s counter-attack, Emery decided not to waste time either. He bid farewell to Lord Hassa and Tessa, expressing his gratitude for their hospitality, before returning to Terra City to begin his preparations.

Back in Terra City, Emery gathered his friends and key officers. The room buzzed with anticipation and concern as they awaited his briefing. He began by recounting the events that had transpired on Karat’s planet, detailing the fierce battle, the challenges they faced, and the eventual alliance forged with the Karat faction.

Emery then briefed them about Karat’s plan to attack the pirate’s main base. The details of the operation were meticulously laid out, highlighting the strategic importance of this offensive.

General Xavier was tasked with preparing their forces for the impending battle, ensuring that every warrior was battle-ready and well-equipped.

Simultaneously, Lord Hassa made a bold move. He publicly announced the pirate attack on his planet and his firm intention to fight back. In a stirring speech, he called upon over 50 factions to join the battle, urging them to gather their forces within five days.

This maneuver was not just about amassing strength; it was a brilliant political strategy especially crucial during the election month. By doing so, Lord Hassa forced each faction to reveal their true intentions regarding the pirate situation. Factions were compelled to act swiftly, cutting ties with any pirate affiliations to gain positive support from the citizens of Golden City.

“We, Terra, will be taking a role in this battle,” Emery declared, his voice filled with determination.

The room erupted in unanimous support. Thrax, in particular, was eager for the fight. His eyes gleamed with anticipation, his warrior spirit ignited by the prospect of a grand battle.

The briefing continued, delving into the specifics of their preparations. Emery assigned Chumo the task of coordinating with the Karat faction, ensuring their strategies and efforts were aligned for the impending battle. Magus Shena was designated to coordinate with Zodiac City, leveraging their resources and support. Meanwhile, Thrax was to focus on preparing the Terra army, training the troops, and ensuring their readiness for the upcoming conflict.

Emery then handed a storage ring filled with the 100 million spirit stones he had received to Magus Rosia to be used for the war efforts. He instructed them to upgrade all necessary equipment and ensure our forces were well-prepared.

“Alright, that is all,” Emery concluded.

As the officers and friends dispersed to their tasks, Emery called upon Yuria and Elder Lilith to discuss issues concerning the Nephilim. He needed updates on their situation and wanted to schedule a time to meet with them. Emery felt more confident knowing that Elder Lilith, the formidable Black Salamander, would accompany him. Her presence would ensure his safety and add a layer of protection during these delicate negotiations.

Emery wrote a formal letter and handed it to Yuria. “I will be waiting for their reply,” he said.

With everything in place, Emery eagerly anticipated examining his new treasures. He retreated to his chamber, his excitement palpable as he entered his Magus domain.

The first item Emery turned his attention to was the [Elysian Tree] seedlings. He was eager to see if these rare seedlings could thrive within his domain. After a brief scan of the area, he identified an ideal location: a serene clearing nestled in the heart of a lush, green forest. The spot was bathed in soft, dappled sunlight, providing the perfect environment for nurturing the delicate seedlings.

Emery gently placed the seedlings into the ground, their roots delicately intertwining with the rich soil. He began the nurturing process, watering the plant or channeling his spirit energy into the ground. Hours passed but despite his efforts, no visible change occurred in the seedlings.
