Earth's Greatest Magus

The Magus Domain stood as the vital source of power to any Grand Magus, serving as a conduit for the boundless energy of the Cosmos stored within their spatial aperture.

This cosmic reservoir not only bestowed a qualitative enhancement to their strength but also sustained them in the unending battle, drawing upon their Domain power ceaselessly.

For most Grand Magus, the size of their spatial aperture held profound implications for their combat prowess. It directly correlated with the magnitude of their strength and endurance on the battlefield. This truth resonated starkly in Emery’s memory, especially in his past encounters with two notorious Grand Magus pirates.

Both Gaizan and Dong Bai, as Grand Magus Hybrids, leaned on their mastery of the [Law of Beast] to propel their Grand Magus advancements, which resulted in the development of relatively small-sized spatial apertures.

Despite this limitation, both adversaries proved to be formidable opponents. Their relentless exploitation of Domain power forced Emery into a continuous retreat, compelling him to resort to consuming pills to match their seemingly boundless reservoirs of energy.

Grand Magus Perses, the destroyer with whom Emery clashed in the Terra Palace, followed a similar path, breaking through with his mastery of the [Law of Strength]. It was Kronos who stood as a prime example of a Grand Magus who harnessed the full potential of their Domain power, making him seem unbeatable.

Another prominent figure was Grand Magus Zenonia, whose prowess transcended the limits of mortal comprehension. Emery himself had witnessed the sheer magnitude of Zenonia’s spatial aperture—a realm unto itself, encompassing an entire planet, which was swallowed by her [Black Hole] spell. Zenonia’s prowess transcended conventional boundaries, her command over space law and access to Khaos power marking her as a true master of the spatial realm.

However, Emery remained several steps away from achieving such a remarkable feat. He had yet to ascend to the esteemed realm of a Grand Magus, and as Dillion had astutely surmised, the vast expanse of his spatial aperture was a testament to his profound understanding of the law of space. This achievement had been a gradual process, born from the recovery of his broken Primal core over the past four years.

When a fire magus ascended to the realm of a grand magus, their spatial aperture typically manifested as a landscape dominated by volcanic terrain. Conversely, for an ice magus, it might resemble a frozen glacier. However, Emery’s Domain defied such conventional expectations. It was not only vast in size but also exhibited a unique duality, housing two opposing energies within its bounds.

This remarkable phenomenon was the result of Emery’s tireless efforts to balance the potent forces of Khaos with his own mastery of the laws of light and nature. Through his unwavering dedication, Emery succeeded in creating a Domain that was divided into two distinct realms: the vibrant Nature Domain, where the Chizpurs lived, and the enigmatic Darkness Domain nestled within the depths of the mountain.

Such revelation left Dillion breathless, finally understanding why his master had insisted on the [Soul Contract] before divulging such secrets. However, for Ha Ron and Kingrig, who had recently ascended from the lower realm of Earth, the conversation remained beyond their grasp. As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss.

“Master, what is Khaos power?” Dillion inquired, his curiosity piqued.

This question lingered in the air as they entered a dark chamber inside the mountain. The chamber was vast, stretching about 500 meters squares in size, with a mesmerizing pool of dark liquid continuously cascading into a pool at its center. Dominating the chamber was a colossal, ominous-looking door exuding an intense aura of darkness.

Emery gestured towards the imposing doors and solemnly declared, “That door leads to Khaos.”

He proceeded to offer a succinct explanation about Khaos, describing it as the essence of a primordial being known as the Primordial Wisp. This entity existed in a solitary state, possessing the might to both create and destroy worlds, making it highly coveted by various factions and organizations. The door before them was Emery’s personal waypoint, a direct link to Khaos Domain. This was the crux of the secret that Emery demanded they keep.

To delve deeper into this mysterious power, Emery announced, “You three will be practicing here.”

He directed them to sit near the towering door, encouraging them to cultivate using the energy that permeated the room. As they followed Emery’s instructions, a noticeable shift occurred in their expressions. The effect was akin to cultivating in a room filled with darkness origins stone, if not qualitatively better.

All three acolytes were proficient in the darkness element, rendering them eligible to receive Khaos energy. This allowed them to grow their spirit force at an sped-up rate while simultaneously tapping into the enigmatic might of Khaos.

Emery observed their interaction with the Khaos energy closely, ensuring that all three acolytes could safely absorb it. Once he confirmed their ability to do so, he couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.

The energy they were interacting with was none other than the Khaos energy that he had personally accumulated into his aperture. Without any of the Khaos Guardians, Killgaragah, or Chutulu, the speed at which he could channel Khaos energy was significantly slower, not enough to continuously sustain them.

Judging by the speed at which they were absorbing the Khaos energy, Emery calculated that the three acolytes could cultivate for the entire day before the consequences began to diminish. Consequently, he decided that they would benefit from this might once a week for the time being. This schedule would continue until Emery managed to bring the guardians back or rise to a higher realm and further enlarge his spatial aperture.
