Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 29 The long-lost blue lightZhonghai has become a sea of strange beasts, and humans have completely lost control of Zhonghai.

However, not far from the center of Zhonghai City, there is still the last stronghold of mankind - the China Naval Engineering Academy.

Since the entire Engineering Academy is hidden in a mountain, there is only an opening of tens of meters in front that can be entered, which is easy to defend and difficult to attack. The alien beasts lack effective means of attack, so the Engineering Academy has not been able to stand until now, even The attack of the alien beasts did not cause any casualties to the Engineering Academy.

This has to be said to be a miracle.

After Zhou Ran and others moved to the Engineering Academy, they were all reassigned to work under Yang Huali because they had experience assisting in the design of the TD-1 mecha.

”Mr. Yang, do you think Chen Ping is still alive?”

Gao Yuzhu asked Yang Huali while debugging the machine, looking a little absent-minded in his work.

”Haha!! Little girl, I think your worries are purely unnecessary. That kid may live a very cool life.”

Yang Huali smiled.

”Ah? Mr. Yang, how do you know he is alive and well?”

Gao Yuzhu tilted his head and asked with a confused expression.

”Oh, Yuzhu! Aren’t you usually quite smart? Why have you become so stupid now?”

Yang Huali put down his work and stared at Gao Yuzhu, ”Look at those lively TD-1 mechas outside. They are all his handiwork. Do you think smart people who can create such mechas will put their own Play to death?”

After Yang Huali said this, Gao Yuzhu nodded, feeling a little more at ease.

”Haha, Master Yang, this is because you don’t understand style. Our beautiful lady likes that boy too much. There is a saying that caring leads to chaos!”

Zhou Ran participated in the discussion between the two while looking at various instrument data.

”Zhou Ran, can you shut up that stinky mouth of yours!”

Gao Yuzhu, who had been so gentle just now, suddenly became aggressive after hearing Zhou Ran’s words, and glared at Zhou Ran hatefully.

”Haha, he can’t shut his mouth!”

Ye Pengfei continued to laugh.

”Damn it, Ye Pengfei, when did you learn how to tease people? Aren’t we the best brothers?”

Zhou Ran said a little frustrated.

”I have a feeling that we will see that kid sooner or later.” Yang Huali said quietly.

Several people nodded slightly one after another.

”So, we have to complete the debugging of Blu-ray No. 1 as soon as possible, and let that kid know that we will not lose to him!”

Yang Huali looked at the tall Blue Light No. 1 in front of him. At this moment, it was locked between four equally tall iron towers by huge locks.

”Yeah!!”

”Speak in Blu-ray One!”

”I’m already imagining the surprised expression on Chen Ping’s face when Blu-ray One caused a sensation!”

Yang Huali’s words quickly aroused the desire of several people to fight, and they all became more actively involved in the final debugging work of Blu-ray One.

………………

A few days later.

In the square of the Mecha Engineering Department of the Academy of Engineering.

”Chief Commander, the mecha debugging work of Blu-ray One has been completed. Do you want to start testing?”

A staff member from the Engineering Academy reported.

”Start, start now!”

Yang Huali, Gao Yuzhu and others became excited.

”Start the mecha and start testing!”

With Yang Huali’s approval, several workers pressed the start button of Blu-ray One.

”Woo...”

A strong electric current sounded, and the fifteen-meter-tall Blue Light No. 1 slowly stood up from the ground, fully demonstrating its extremely strong physique to everyone for the first time.

”Starting self-test program.”

”The energy supply system is normal!”

”The six-sense balance system is normal!”

”The fire control system is normal!”

”...”

Alerts sounded one after another, and Blue Light No. 1 was freed from the shackles of the steel lock.

”Boom...”

Blue Light No. 1 stepped out, and its body weighing a thousand tons moved slowly. Every step it took seemed to violently knock everyone’s heart.

”Activate the second form!”

Yang Huali gave the order.

Following the command, Blue Light One slowly squatted down, and a row of steel wheels popped up on its feet and legs, forming track wheels like a tank.

The second form is another improvement made by Yang Huali.

The net weight of Blu-ray One alone exceeds 1,000 tons. If weapons and ammunition are mounted, it will be even heavier, and the speed of Blu-ray One will be greatly affected.

Therefore, Yang Huali designed the second form.

Although it seems like a simple change, it already involves the transformation of the mecha. There is no doubt that this took Yang Huali a long time to study the knowledge of mecha transformation.

In its second form, Blu-ray One’s speed has been greatly increased, even much faster than ordinary tanks.

”Chief Engineer, due to current limited conditions, the Engineering Academy does not have the conditions for actual combat testing. What should we do?”

This is a nuisance.

The first phase of the test of Blu-ray No. 1 was completely fine, and all programs were running as expected. Thanks to Chen Ping’s six-sense balance system, the stability issues of each component of the mecha were also perfectly resolved.

However, according to regulations, the mecha must complete the second phase of actual combat testing before it can finally be sent to the front line to participate in battle.

”Boom!”

Before Yang Huali could answer, the entire mountain where the Engineering Institute was located shook violently, as if it was an earthquake, and everyone inside staggered around.

”Woooo...”

The alarm in the engineering yard kept ringing.

”Oops, the alien beasts are attacking again! Everyone, be careful to avoid them!!”

The Engineering Academy has specially set up observation posts to monitor the strange beasts outside the mountain 24 hours a day.

”This attack seems to be very fierce! It has never been shaken so violently before.”

Zhou Ran on the side said worriedly.

Yang Huali looked at Blu-ray No. 1, who was standing aside, and said, ”Ha! What kind of actual combat test is there? Isn’t it the best test right now?”

Open the door and put on Blu-ray No. 1!

”What!!! Chief Master, are you sure you are not joking?”

Yang Huali’s words shocked everyone.

”What? Do you have a better opinion?”

Yang Huali stared at everyone with his eyes, and his long-lost commander-in-chief temperament once again exuded.

The remaining people didn’t have any better opinions, so they could only nod silently. Everyone knew in their hearts that only real actual combat was the best testing ground for equipment and weapons.

”Boom, boom, boom!”

The thick iron door at the outermost edge of the engineering institute opened, and a gust of fishy wind seemed to find an outlet and suddenly poured into the mountain.

”hiss!!”

Outside the mountain, the alien-winged beasts squatting at the door all became excited. The rich smell of flesh and blood inside made them charge towards the door without any scruples.
