Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 18 The Terrifying ParasiteSoon the commander was brought to the commander by several soldiers.

The commander looked at the commander in front of him with dull eyes and blood all over his body, feeling a twinge of guilt in his heart.

He must have experienced something very tragic to be like this, the commander thought.

”Tell me, what information do you have?”

the commander asked.

”Uh uh...”

The commander made two weird noises from his throat, walked up to the commander, and before anyone could react, he pounced on him, opened his mouth, and bit the commander’s neck with his sharp teeth.

A dark green worm wormed its way into the commander’s body along the wound.

”Damn, what are you doing!!”

Several guards around the commander hurriedly tried to pull the commander away, but the commander’s hands were tightly squeezing the commander’s body with such force that no one could do anything about it.

Seeing the commander’s consciousness becoming increasingly blurred, several guards raised their guns.

”Da da da!!”

A round of bullets hit the commander, and blood gurgled, but the commander seemed to feel no pain. He tilted his head, looked at a guard, and then jumped on him crazily.

”boom!”

The guard pulled out the powerful pistol from his waist, pointed it at the commander’s forehead and pulled the trigger.

The commander’s head exploded, but what spewed out from his body was not blood, but a large swath of dark green worms, covering the sky and covering all five or six guards.

After a moment, the commander and the guards stood up again, their eyes dull, and the wounds on their bodies were quickly repaired. Except for the blood stains left on their clothes, nothing abnormal was visible.

Several people looked at each other, and then walked towards the 29th Army’s forward position with a somewhat strange pace.

………………

The second line of defense of the 29th Army is in danger. If it fails again, only the last line of defense will be left - Red Sea University!

On the Red Sea University campus, a regiment of the 29th Army is also stationed.

But if the second line of defense fails, the troops of this regiment will obviously quickly become food for the beasts. By then, the teachers and students in the Red Sea University who have not had time to evacuate will also become the food of the alien beasts.

”Boohoo!!”

Over the Red Sea University, dozens of fully armed TD-1 mechas suddenly descended.

”It’s those robots!! Reinforcements, our reinforcements!”

The troops originally stationed in the school felt excited when they saw the familiar mecha. The country had not given up on them yet.

These dozens of mechas were naturally dispatched by Chen Ping on an emergency basis.

In addition, hundreds of mechas have landed on the second line of defense of the 29th Army almost at the same time.

”Zizzi...”

The hundreds of mechas that had just landed were arranged in separate lines. The left arm was raised, the five fingers were split to reveal the muzzle inside, and the particle cannon was quickly charged.

”Bang bang!”

Hundreds of particle cannons were fired almost simultaneously. A vacuum zone about three meters wide was blasted at the front of the front line.

The soldiers of the 29th Army cheered crazily when they saw this scene. Those ferocious beasts seemed so vulnerable to the TD-1 particle cannon.

”Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding...”

The Feilian Beast in the air saw that the Alien Winged Beast on the ground had suffered heavy damage, and flew down crazily, shooting the bone spurs from its tail towards the TD-1 mecha. However, those bone spurs, which are harmless to human skin, were in front of the iron shell of the mecha. It lost its effectiveness and only caused bursts of sparks on the fuselage before falling to the ground.

”Da da da!!”

The special submachine gun in TD-1’s hand began to spit out rage. This submachine gun also came from the system and was called the ”Slayer God.” It was also a firearm that relied on electromagnetic energy to fire.

But what was fired was not a gunpowder bullet, but a metal nail like a steel needle, two inches long and extremely sharp. Relying on the acceleration of electromagnetic force, the initial velocity of the bullet can reach 8,000 meters per second.

The highest initial velocity of modern firearm bullets does not exceed 2,000 meters per second, and less powerful pistols generally only have about 700 meters per second.

Faster speed means greater power and stronger penetration, so the firearms in the hands of soldiers cannot penetrate the armor of the Feilian Beast, but the ”Slaying God” can.

However, this kind of firearm cannot be equipped to ordinary soldiers because it is too heavy and seriously affects the soldiers’ mobility.

However, Tu Shen also has shortcomings. Its bullet supply cannot be unlimited. The TD-1 needs to be replenished after firing all the ammunition it carries.

”Didi, activate the melee weapon!”

Dozens of minutes later, the slaughter gods in the hands of the TD-1 mecha became silent.

Then, they all waved their right arms, and a half-meter-long sword blade popped out from the outside of their arms.

The TD-1 combat robot is only a basic-level robot produced by the system, and its technological level is still not too high. In order to cope with the situation where there is no ammunition available, every mecha is equipped with this short blade.

The short blade is made of Arctic wind special steel and is extremely sharp.

If Mao Xiong were here, he would definitely jump up and scold Chen Ping for being a prodigal. Arctic Wind Special Steel is very rare, and even Mao Xiong’s own family would have to live a tight life.

If Xia Guo hadn’t given him too much, Mao Xiong wouldn’t have sold such strategic items.

But this kind of thing was used by Chen Ping to make daggers, which really ruined the reputation of Arctic Wind Special Steel and wasted a lot of resources.

”Roar!!”

The alien winged beast in the front row suddenly flapped its wings behind it, jumped forward, and pounced on a TD-1 mecha. The mecha flipped its wrist, dodged, and moved forward instead of retreating, brushing against the alien winged beast. And passed.

The short blade in his hand suddenly swung out, and the alien-winged beast’s head was in a different place. Dark green liquid burst out and splashed all over the mecha.

Hundreds of mechas entered hand-to-hand combat mode one after another. The remaining soldiers of the 29th Army got a breather and reorganized their firepower. The 15 giant electromagnetic guns roared angrily again.

………………

”System, calculate the best route.”

On the road from Zhonghai to Red Sea City, Chen Ping drove a military truck and drove all the way. The truck was loaded with more than a dozen TD-1 mechas, and there were dozens of mechas in the sky as escorts.

The entire Xia Kingdom was in chaos. Chen Pingyuan wanted to contact the first dispatched troops to support Red Sea City, but he couldn’t contact him at all. The TD-1 mechas were almost divided into different places to defend against the alien beasts. Chen Ping did not dare to mobilize them at will. .

Therefore, Chen Ping could only mobilize a few hundred units from areas with low pressure to support the Red Sea in advance.

However, he still has 50,000 Xiaoluo-type reconnaissance robots in his hands. Although Xiaoluo’s ability cannot stand head-on with those junior beasts, he can still fight cannon fodder.

”Damn it, there’s still a piece of property in the basement, don’t let it be destroyed!”

Chen Ping decided to rush to the Red Sea himself. For Chen Ping, that was the place where his dream began. How could he let it fall?

”The route has been planned and congestion and dangerous areas have been avoided. It is expected to arrive in two hours.”

The system prompt sounded. Chen Ping frowned and stepped on the accelerator to the bottom.
