Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 12 A nuclear bomb hanging under your buttNow, only one question remains.

The energy supply problem of the TD-1 combat robot.

You know, even a small mecha like Xiao Luo consumes extremely high energy.

Chen Ping has used the most advanced graphene battery pack, and Xiao Luo’s battery life can only last 8 hours. Of course, this is only under normal circumstances. If the high-energy consumption combat mode is turned on, this time will be shortened to 3 hours.

Of course, for Xiao Luo, who is defined as cannon fodder by the system, they do not need such a long battery life. 3 hours is enough to cope with a small war.

However, the TD-1 is an all-weather combat robot, and battery life is a big problem that must be solved.

The TD-1 combat robot is twice as big as Xiao Luo. A larger size means higher energy consumption. The system recommends using a cesium reactor, but Blue Star has not yet implemented this technology.

There are no blueprints for this technology in the blueprint mall. Obviously, the cesium reactor technology has exceeded level 1.

Chen Ping had to consider nuclear technology.

Xia’s nuclear technology has always been in the world’s leading position, and in some aspects it is the world’s first and unique.

Nuclear technology is divided into fission technology and fusion technology. Through a lot of study, Chen Ping learned that currently only nuclear fission can be adopted into the TD-1 robot.

Because Xia State’s current use of nuclear fission technology is more advanced. The smallest fission reactor can be a 10 cm cube, but the outer protective layer reaches 50 cm.

In other words, Chen Ping needs to add a 50cm cube to the TD-1 fuselage to achieve energy supply.

According to Chen Ping’s calculations, he finally decided to install the cube on the lower body of TD-1, which is the butt. This may make TD-1 look like a big butt, and it will also occupy a lot of space for other parts. , but hardly affects functionality.

Once fission technology is adopted, although it can achieve an almost permanent ultra-long endurance, the recovery reactor cannot be replaced, and all TD-1 robots will become self-destructors with a small nuclear bomb under their buttocks.

There are only two ultimate fates for TD-1. The first is to be destroyed in the war and become a small nuclear bomb that self-destructs. The second is to wait for the 50 cm thick protective layer to fail and become a pile that cannot stand up and carries a radiation source. Scrap iron, humans can only throw them into the cooling water and wait for the natural cooling of the nuclear reactor.

Therefore, the best fate for TD-1 is to die in the war, and Chen Ping will naturally add a self-destruction program to the TD-1’s operating program.

It is conceivable that after falling into a desperate situation, TD-1 started to self-destruct and brought life to the alien beast. This scene seems to have the flavor of a tragic hero.

Chen Ping made some design modifications to the protective layer to make it more suitable for the TD-1 body shape without affecting the protective function.

After another two days and two nights of non-stop work, in the workshop of the Mecha Manufacturing Department of the Engineering Academy, under the supervision of Chen Ping, the first batch of components had been manufactured. All members of the TD-1 project team were present in the workshop.

As the person in charge of material compatibility, Ye Pengfei is testing whether the material compatibility of each component meets the standards and whether the operation function is normal.

Fortunately, everything went smoothly without any problems.

Chen Ping is confident about this. The products produced by the system must be high-quality. There should be no problems including Zhou Ran’s operating system. These are all works carried out under the drawings provided by the system. The only thing that worries Chen Ping is What is more important is whether the layout of the energy supply part and Gao Yuzhu’s weapons will unbalance the body.

”Yuzhu, how is your weapon system?”

Chen Ping asked.

”Assistant Commander, don’t worry. During this time, I have made smaller modifications to the Iron Rain Cannon. Although some of its power has been sacrificed, it can definitely meet the needs. I installed the Iron Rain Cannon on the machine. As for the other weapon systems on A’s shoulder, they are all based on the drawings you gave me.”

Gao Yuzhu brushed his short hair and answered while recording the detection status of the robotic arm.

Chen Ping nodded. If it is only installed on the shoulder, it should not affect the balance of the mecha. In addition, the mecha itself has the assistance of the six-sense balance system, and the overall situation can basically meet the requirements.

”I didn’t expect that Xia Kingdom’s first war mecha would be manufactured by us.”

Zhou Ran said excitedly on the side.

His words are not accurate. The first war mecha in Xia Kingdom was undoubtedly Blu-ray One. Although Blu-ray One had not yet stood up at this time, the development and design of Blu-ray One was undoubtedly earlier than Xiao Luo. , in terms of ranking, TD-1 can only be ranked third.

Moreover, the TD-1 mecha currently waiting to be assembled is not the first one. The first one has been scattered into a pile of parts in Chen Ping’s studio.

”Chen Ping, I really want to open your head and see how it grows. After looking at your drawings, I realized how big the gap is between you and me. I can’t believe you actually designed it all by yourself. ”

”Ha, otherwise why would I be the deputy chief engineer and you are just a researcher!”

Chen Ping made a joke, which made Zhou Ran blush.

”Deputy Commander, all the components have been tested and everything is normal. Do you want to start assembly?”

A staff member from the Academy of Engineering reported to Chen Ping.

”Can!”

At this moment, the mood that should have been getting more and more exciting gradually calmed down.

There are still at most three days to complete the TD-1’s body test and actual combat test, so there are only 40 days left for Xia Guo to manufacture 100,000 mechas.

This is a challenge, and it requires the Xia State’s national machine to start quickly to have any hope. The time has come to truly test the national strength.

Following Chen Ping’s order, the entire Mecha Manufacturing Department of the Engineering Academy quickly started moving.

The body and arms are assembled first, then the head and feet, and finally the weapon parts.

This is called modularization, which divides the entire project into modules and finally assembles them like building blocks.

”What’s this?”

Zhou Ran asked strangely as he watched the staff install a strange-looking mechanical part into the right arm of the mecha.

”This is a particle accelerator!”

the staff member replied.

”Particle accelerator? What is that?”

”Hey, Researcher Zhou doesn’t even know this? It seems that you are stupid at the Individual Equipment Research Institute.”

The staff member raised his head, looked at Zhou Ran and said with some surprise.

”A particle accelerator is a device that can continuously accelerate particles and eventually gather them together to form a particle beam and emit it. This was designed and made by the deputy master himself.”

Even after the staff member explained, Zhou Ran was still confused and could only look at Chen Ping.

”Short name, particle cannon!”

Chen Ping replied with a suppressed smile.
