Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 20 Is this consistent with the theory of evolution?”squeak……”

The army green truck was parked on the side of the road.

Chen Ping looked carefully at the gas station not far away.

His truck’s gas gauge had dropped to rock bottom.

Out of gas...

I had to take a detour to find the nearest gas station.

”System! Detect whether there are strange animals near the gas station!”

”We are detecting. There are 16 strange beasts in the gas station, and 58 more are within a radius of 1 kilometer.”

Soon, the system informed Chen Ping of the detection results.

”Hiss...it’s a bit difficult!”

Although Chen Ping could send out the TD-1 mecha to destroy these strange beasts, there would be no guarantee that the gas station would still exist.

Under normal circumstances, fireworks are strictly prohibited in gas stations, and even making phone calls is prohibited. It is conceivable that once a fire is fired, the gas station will probably explode directly on the spot.

Therefore, we must find a way to attract the alien beasts from the gas station and then eliminate them.

Right now, the only thing left that is suitable as bait... is this flesh and blood creature.

This time he must take the risk himself.

Opening the car door, Chen Ping quietly walked up a hillside next to the gas station and stretched his neck.

In the refueling area, there are seven or eight alien-winged beasts wandering around. There are some human broken arms and limbs scattered on the ground. It is obvious that the place has been attacked.

There are two other alien-winged beasts that are frantically banging against the door of the gas station canteen. The iron roller shutter has been deeply dented and may not be able to hold up for long.

There were less than ten strange beasts that could be seen, which was six or seven different from the system’s detection data. Obviously there were still strange beasts that were not within Chen Ping’s observation range.

”Is it possible there are survivors inside?”

Looking at the two alien-winged beasts frantically slamming into the door, Chen Ping felt suspicious.

”System, send a few mechas to rush in and deal with the alien beasts in front of you. Remember, use melee combat!”

Chen Ping ordered.

Immediately, four mechas received the order and began to take action.

From a distance, Chen Ping saw four mechas quickly rushing into the gas station and fighting with several strange beasts.

The daggers in the hands of the four mechas slashed wildly, and the battle was resolved in less than two minutes.

But the two alien-winged beasts that hit the door did not join the battle besieging the mecha, and turned a deaf ear to the mecha’s killing of its own kind. They seemed to be going crazy and banging against the iron door.

”bump!!”

Finally, the iron gate could no longer hold up and crashed down, and two strange beasts rushed in.

”Ahhh!!”

Chen Ping heard human screams coming from inside.

Then he saw a bloody figure staggering out of the canteen. Within a few meters, an alien-winged beast swooped out, and the giant mouth of the abyss bit off the man’s head.

It’s not that Chen Ping didn’t want to save people, it was too late.

Then, another strange beast also rushed out of the canteen, plunged into the headless body and began to gnaw wildly.

”hiss……”

Another hetero-winged beast neighed, raised a pair of sharp forelimbs, and stabbed hard at its predators.

”squeak……”

Its kind obviously did not expect that this alien-winged beast would attack itself. It was instantly pierced through the head and died. The alien-winged beast took advantage of the situation and picked up the head of its kind and started to eat it.

Then, something horrifying happened to Chen Ping.

As the alien-winged beast continued to eat, a faint red light appeared on its body.

Chen Ping ordered the four mechas to stop attacking. This phenomenon was so strange that Chen Ping decided to observe it carefully.

For a moment, the heteropteran’s forelimbs grew wildly. The forelimbs that were originally like mantis arms grew a pair of scorpion-like pincers in a matter of seconds. A row of sharp bone spurs grew on the back from the head to the tail. The wings on its back It became bigger and longer, reflecting the cold light in the sun.

The body size is also expanding rapidly. It was originally no more than the size of a dog, but within a few minutes it became almost the same size as a human being.

”Is this...”

Chen Ping guessed a scary possibility.

”System, scan that alien-winged beast!”

Scan completed: Alien Winged Beast Evolution [Basic Level 1]

Sure enough, the horse riding has evolved! !

Moreover, its strength has directly reached the entry-level level 1, which is the same as Feilian Beast.

Cannibalism can actually lead to evolution. What kind of species is this?

Is this reasonable?

Does this conform to the theory of evolution?

Chen Ping complained!

But what worries him even more is that he may not be a special case when encountering this kind of thing. There are probably many alien beasts that have evolved in the entire Blue Star.

Cannon fodder like the Alien Winged Beast can evolve, so Fei Lian Beast, Red Roar Beast, etc. should all have the same abilities.

It’s over, Blue Star may have to face a more difficult situation.

”hiss!!”

As soon as the alien-winged beast completed its evolution, four mechas pounced on it.

”Ding! Dang!”

After the evolution, the alien winged beast has obviously become more flexible. While dodging, it uses two pincers to resist the attack of the mecha. The hardness of the pincers can already compete with the short blade of the mecha, causing bursts of sparks to collide.

However, four mechas are still not something it can fight against.

Soon, the evolved alien-winged beast died under the sword of the mecha.

”Kill the evolved form of the Alien Winged Beast and gain +5 war points.”

In addition, there were six or seven strange beasts hiding somewhere. Chen Ping didn’t find them for a long time, so he had to go into the gas station under the protection of a dozen other mechas.

Arriving in front of the evolved body of the hetero-winged beast, Chen Ping held his nose and examined it carefully.

Obviously, after evolution, this thing is not a little bit stronger than before it evolved, and its appearance alone is much more domineering.

Suddenly, Chen Ping found something abnormal on the forehead of the alien beast. A transparent crystal the size of a fingernail was exposed on the forehead of the alien beast.

Chen Ping compared it with the ordinary hetero-winged beast next to him for a long time, and was convinced that this thing only appeared after evolution.

”Pry this thing out for me and take a look.”

Chen Ping ordered a mecha, but he didn’t want to do it himself.

Soon, a flat crystal the size of a fingernail was handed into Chen Ping’s hand. Holding the crystal, Chen Ping seemed to feel that his body was involuntarily emitting a trace of warmth.

”Weird! So strange! Scan the system!”

”Scan completed!”

Crystal of Evolution [Basic Level 1]

There is a chance that primary level 1 alien beasts will be born, which contain energy and can be used by humans.

”Can it still be used by humans?”

The system prompt made Chen Ping confused.

How do humans use it?

Can I supplement calcium by eating it?

Chen Ping couldn’t figure it out, and he didn’t dare to swallow this kind of thing rashly, so he could only give up and put it away temporarily.

Chen Ping sent a dozen TD-1 mechas to guard near the gas station, then quickly filled up the tank and prepared to hit the road again.

Suddenly, he saw the canteen that had been blasted away by the alien-winged beast, and then he sneaked in and plundered it, taking out a lot of food, and then he stepped on the accelerator and left with satisfaction.
