Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 74: Chapter 74: For Now, Having You Four Is Enough

Behind the Frost Wolf Castle.

David brought Earth Witch Hill back to the cabin.

Hill was still wearing her hooded robe, concealing everything.

”You can stay here for now.”

”With the Gray Wolf Guardian here, no one will approach.”

David patiently instructed Hill.

Hill was rescued from the church by him, and her identity was much more sensitive than Amy’s. If discovered by the church, they would inevitably relate her to the Ice Mage.

Of course, few in Frost Wolf Ridge knew Hill. Once he dealt with the Black Leaf Ridge Lord and those who knew Hill, no one would recognize her.

After all, this world wasn’t the same as the information-rich world of the previous life. It wasn’t that difficult to make someone disappear as long as it’s handled properly.

”Thank you, Master Wizard.” Hill expressed gratitude with a bow.

In front of the wizard who rescued her and provided her with shelter, she felt grateful, and besides that, admiration and reverence.

After settling Hill, David returned to the Frost Wolf Castle.

He had left the previous night. Though it was a day later, apart from the Gray Wolf Knight and his four wives, no one in Frost Wolf Ridge knew he was gone.

”Young Master David, you’re finally back.”

Liya, upon seeing David return, hurriedly came forward to check if he was injured.

Amy, Reina, and Cynthia also approached.

”Don’t worry, I’m fine.” David smiled.

Upon confirming he was unharmed, the four finally relaxed and asked, ”Did you rescue the witch?”

”She’s already been rescued, now at the cabin in the back mountain,” David replied.

Upon hearing this, the four exchanged glances, somewhat intrigued.

However, it was clear that David had no intention of letting them meet Hill now, as he had more important matters to attend to. Speaking of which, whose turn was it today?

...

”Young Master David, don’t...”

”Rest assured, I know my limits, it will be fine, come, try it.”

David patiently coaxed Liya.

In the end, Liya, who was almost always obedient, nodded.

...

”Amy, come over here.”

...

”Reina, I like your initiative.”

...

”Amy, are you alright?”

”Hmm.”

...

After a session of cultivation, David was satisfied and content.

Later, making use of Wise Man’s Time, he and his wives began meditating.

...

The eastern attic.

Cynthia’s face was flushed.

As the sounds from the other side gradually faded, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

It was her first time hearing the Lord with the three sisters, of course, the Lord had also invited her, yet she fled with a red face.

Such matters.

The three sisters actually agreed.

Sister Liya was fine, and Sister Amy wasn’t surprising either.

But Sister Reina, such a proud person, also agreed to this.

This made her curious, with a hesitant expression on her face.

The Lord is really...really an odd one.

She took a deep breath to calm her emotions and closed her eyes, beginning to meditate herself.

Although the meditation effect in such a situation was not as good as after communicating with the Lord, any improvement was still improvement; she didn’t want to waste time.

...

The next day.

David got up early as usual.

Fire Dance was already accustomed to it, waiting outside early.

Seeing the Lord come out, her face slightly reddened, she still stepped forward with clothes, helping the Lord to get dressed.

”How are you both progressing with the Basic Meditation Method?” David asked.

Viewing these two twin lotuses, David felt they had something special, thus he shared the Basic Meditation Method with the sisters.

”We haven’t entered the meditation state yet.” Fire Dance shook her head.

She and her sister now specialized in serving the wives, and whenever they went to the cabin in the back mountain, they followed along. They had long known about Amy and Cynthia being witches, and after interacting with them, they realized witches weren’t scary, thus they also yearned to become witches.

At the time, when the Lord asked if they wanted to become witches, they agreed without hesitation, and the Lord gave them the Basic Meditation Method.

Unfortunately, it’s very difficult for ordinary people to become witches.

The two have been practicing the Meditation Method for a long time, yet they’re still at the entry level.

”No need to rush.”

”Even if you can’t gather spiritual power, the Meditation Method can still calm your mind and nurture your spirit,” David reassured them, unsurprised.

For ordinary people to become witches, they need to gather a Spirit Seed, just like Amy and Cynthia who awakened their witch power.

And the Spirit Seed, like the Life Seed, required not only a strong wizard talent but also a special ritual to gather.

These insights naturally came from the witch behind the little white mouse, but unfortunately, even those witches didn’t know how to gather a Spirit Seed.

It’s difficult for ordinary people to become witches, which is the main reason why witches gradually fell into decline and even their legacy is nearly fading on the continent.

David wanted Fire Dance and Shuili to practice the Meditation Method to guide the potential witch power in them, hoping they’d become witches.

”Thank you, Lord.” Fire Dance expressed gratitude.

Over this time, David subtly influenced them, coupled with reading more books and understanding more, the sisters became increasingly natural.

Watching Fire Dance and Shuili busy tidying up the room and dining area while wearing maid outfits, David leaned against the door, showing an interested expression.

”Young Master David, when will you take in Fire Dance and Shuili?”

Liya asked with a smile.

David withdrew his gaze, shaking his head, replied, ”No rush.”

He had long considered the sisters as his women.

However, their state hasn’t reached the level he desired.

He’s in no hurry to take them in.

Moreover, he had just taken in Cynthia, and the four wives were completely satisfying him, significantly enhancing his power.

He planned to continue focusing on improving these four abilities rather than adding new ones that wouldn’t substantially enhance his strength.

Since even with new abilities there wouldn’t be enough energy to focus on, it would be better to elevate existing abilities to their limits before honing new ones.

This approach was the same for Earth Witch Hill; he intended to develop feelings with Hill first, then decide whether to take her in based on circumstances.

”Having you four is enough for now.”

David laughed heartily, speaking with sincere honesty.
