Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Reached Second Base

Two days later, the two of them began their return journey with the wolf pack.

This time, David still held Cynthia as they sat on Xiaobai’s back.

The newly named little female wolf Xiaoxue followed closely beside Xiaobai, expressing affection from time to time.

In fact.

The two of them could now each ride a Snow Wolf.

But tacitly, neither of them mentioned it, just returning the way they came.

Of course, Cynthia’s mindset was already completely different this time.

In the past two days, she had been fed so much dog food on Snow Wolf’s back, how could she not have some different thoughts in her heart?

Moreover, regarding the Lord, she did not feel any aversion.

Or rather, she was repelled by all men in this world, but the Lord was the only exception.

She didn’t like shackles and longed for freedom.

Yet the Lord’s embrace did not bring her any confinement, but instead made her feel genuinely at ease.

When did this change begin?

Perhaps it started when the Lord led her out of the prison, brought her light, and made her determine to follow his footsteps forward.

”Cynthia.”

David could feel the increasing warmth of the person in his arms, and he spoke softly.

The Little Fox Girl raised her head and met the Lord’s eyes, her foxy eyes showing a mix of nervousness and shyness, matching with her devilish face like a loli, it was captivating.

All the words David wanted to say got stuck in his throat, feeling his whole body start to heat up, his throat very dry, a surge of impulse rushing to his brain.

He couldn’t help but lean down, his lips slowly approaching the girl.

Cynthia watched the scene, her eyes slightly widening.

But for some reason, a sense of anticipation rose in her heart, and she shyly closed her eyes slowly.

...

At the back of Frost Wolf Ridge.

Now, those Gray Wolves had all been settled.

Xiaobai and Xiaoxue, newly married, had slipped into a cluster of grass again.

”Then I’m off.”

David addressed the girl standing in front of him.

”Mm.” Cynthia’s face was still slightly red.

Today was extraordinary for both of them. Although just a small step was taken, it was the most substantial step in their relationship.

Now, could they be considered lovers?

Seeing this, David smiled faintly, leaned down again for a kiss. Cynthia closed her eyes, stood on tiptoe, with one standing at 1.8 meters and the other at 1.5 meters, from a distance, it had a special cute feeling.

”Nevermind, I won’t leave today.”

David raised his head, looking at the girl who had closed her eyes, her eyelashes fluttering.

Cynthia immediately opened her eyes wide, stammering a bit, ”I-I-I...I’m not...not ready yet.”

”Silly, I didn’t mean to do anything.”

”Tonight, I’ll just hold you to sleep, promise I won’t do anything.”

David reassured with a smile.

This beautiful day needed a perfect ending.

That night, they truly did nothing.

On a vast grassland, they snuggled together, gazing at the starry, vast sky, their breathing the only melody in this universe, as if they were the only two people in the world.

Under this starry sky, time seemed to stand still, they felt each other’s presence as if they were each other’s world, without any restraint.

Cynthia enjoyed this sense of freedom, the boundless starry sky, the open grassland, nestled in the embrace filled with security that could envelop her completely, throwing away all worries, just needing to close her eyes and enjoy this freedom.

If here, she gave herself completely to this man, she felt fearless.

”Thank you, my lord.”

Cynthia thought silently to herself, a sweet smile on her lips.

This night.

They simply cuddled together, closing their eyes and drifting into a peaceful slumber.

...

The next day.

Cynthia woke up under the sunlight.

Looking around, she found herself lying on a soft bed.

The Lord was nowhere to be seen.

Just as she planned to get out of bed, the door suddenly opened.

David walked in with his upper body bare, his muscles clearly defined.

”You’re up.”

”Hurry down for breakfast.”

David smiled.

Cynthia quickly withdrew her gaze, nodding with a flushed face.

When she opened the door later, she saw Fire Dance coming in with bedding.

However, after Fire Dance came in, she paused slightly at the sight of the tidy bed.

Normally, shouldn’t it be a mess?

So, did the Lord really just sleep here last night?

When Cynthia arrived at the dining room, Shuili had already set the tableware, and Liya, Amy, and Reina were already seated in their places.

Amy saw Cynthia and immediately went up to her, letting her sit at what they considered Cynthia’s place beside her.

”Cynthia sister, pleased to take care of us in the future.”

Cynthia was still dazed after sitting down, and then she realized.

It seemed Liya, Amy, and Reina’s sisters might have misunderstood something.

However, seeing their reactions, she suddenly felt a wave of reassurance in her heart.
