Chapter 439: Accounting for Electric Vehicle Revenue
Chapter 439 Accounting for Electric Vehicle Revenue

I don’t know how many units of this electric car have been sold in the past few days, and what is the total profit.

Thinking of this, Lin Xuan turned a page and looked at the report of the two-wheeled electric vehicle.

”The total domestic sales volume is 170,000 units, of which 36,000 are high-end, 52,000 are mid-range, and 82,000 are low-end.”

Looking at the sales report above, Lin Xuan nodded slightly to express his approval.

To be honest, this report was a bit beyond his expectation. He thought that many people would buy low-end products, but not many people bought mid-range and high-end products.

After all, the mid-range and high-end only have the difference between battery life and instrument screens, but I didn’t expect so many people to buy mid-range and high-end two-wheeled electric vehicles in the end.

Lin Xuan didn’t feel disappointed that only 170,000 two-wheeled electric vehicles were sold in China in three days, because electric vehicles are a kind of large appliances, and it is a troublesome thing to buy or use.

It is different from a mobile phone. After purchasing a two-wheeled electric vehicle, consumers need to apply for a license plate and various driving documents.

In particular, the two-wheeled electric vehicles of Hantang Technology are completely different from ordinary two-wheeled electric vehicles. The electric vehicles of Hantang Technology can connect to the Internet, which is equivalent to having a mobile phone.

So if you want to use it, you must apply for a certificate, open the network, and bind the mobile APP.

In this case, 170,000 units were sold in three days, which is already an amazing achievement.

After all, according to the estimates of experts from the Industrial Development Administration at the beginning of the year, the estimated total sales of two-wheeled electric vehicles this year is only 18 million units.

At this time, Hantang Technology sold 170,000 units in three days, which is actually equivalent to an annual sales volume of 20.44 million units!

You must know that the sales champion of electric vehicles in 2021, Yadea, will only sell 13 million electric vehicles.

So Hantang Technology is expected to sell 20.44 million units this year, which is actually quite good, but after all, there are not many rich people in China in this era.

Now the big money-maker has to look at the foreign market, so Lin Xuan looked at the sales report of the foreign market.

”The total sales volume in the foreign market is 472,000 units, of which 134,000 are high-end, 152,000 are mid-range, and 186,000 are low-end?

It seems that there are a lot of rich people abroad, and the sales of mid-end and high-end products are so much higher, and the sales volume is not much different from that of low-end products.

It seems that two-wheeled electric vehicles should have replaced motorcycles and battery cars. ”

After seeing the sales volume several times higher than that in China, Lin Xuan has already realized the reason why the sales volume in foreign countries is so high.

Obviously, there are too many black technologies of Hantang Technology two-wheeled electric vehicles and it is too attractive, which has turned many potential users who originally belonged to motorcycles and battery cars into users of Hantang two-wheeled electric vehicles!

Thinking of this, Lin Xuan’s heart moved, and a thoughtful look flashed in his eyes.

Now the Hantang Technology two-wheeled scooter is a vehicle suitable for family use. To be honest, it may not be suitable for young people, and it is not cool enough.

Hantang Technology may be able to develop a straight-bar motorcycle that looks exactly like Harley and Jialing for young people, and then completely sweep the motorcycle into history!

But these things can be left to the subordinate employees to develop. This kind of thing is actually just a replacement of the skeleton. The core technology of the two-wheeled electric vehicle is already available, but it is not difficult to change the structural shape.

So these can be handed over to the employees under the banner to develop. Lin Xuan only needs to give an order, and Lin Xuan doesn’t need to take care of the rest. At worst, he can make some changes if he is not satisfied with the acceptance.

Thinking of this, Lin Xuan focused on the immediate profit.

Although the price of Hantang Technology is different from that in China, it is because of the different taxation, so the actual profit made by Hantang Technology is the same.

Hantang Technology does not discriminate against foreign consumers, and does not increase prices or make cheaper products without authorization, so domestic and foreign countries are treated equally.

Under such circumstances, it is very easy for Lin Xuan to calculate the sales profit at this time.

Among the domestic and foreign markets combined, a total of 262,000 low-end units were sold, 208,000 mid-end units were sold, and 166,000 high-end units were sold.

It is worth mentioning that the cost of high, middle and low end is actually the same, because Hantang Technology controls the screen, the battery, the chip, the motherboard manufacturing, the casing manufacturing, and the frame manufacturing...

It can be said that except for semi-finished raw materials such as steel and plastics, the production of Hantang Technology’s two-wheeled electric vehicles is almost equivalent to a closed-source production system, which is equivalent to transferring money from left hand to right hand!

So Hantang Technology can keep a considerable part of its profits, which is equivalent to making money by itself and not letting others make it. In the end, Hantang Technology’s profits are amazing.

Among them, it is worth mentioning that the biggest difference in the cost of the high, middle and low end is the difference in the size of the sodium-ion battery. As for the cost of the screen, the cost of the low-end and high-end is less than 40 yuan.

In this case, R&D costs and tax costs are the largest costs, so after deducting costs such as labor costs, material costs, and manufacturing costs.

The total cost of a low-end two-wheel electric vehicle priced at 2999 yuan is about 1400 yuan, and the profit is 1599 yuan.

The mid-range two-wheeled electric vehicle is priced at 3999 yuan, the total cost is about 1520 yuan, and the profit is 2479 yuan.

The most expensive high-end price is 4999, the total cost has reached about 1700 yuan, and the profit is also the highest, reaching an astonishing 3299 yuan!

Looking at the profits of two-wheeled electric vehicles in the Han and Tang Dynasties, Lin Xuan felt that if anyone said that the profit of making electric vehicles was not as high as that of mobile phones, Lin Xuan felt that he could use this conclusion to slap him in the face.

But considering that Hantang Technology is actually almost in a closed-source production system, this horrible profit is actually a special case, because it is difficult for other manufacturers to achieve closed-source production status!

Other manufacturers want to make electric vehicles. The only thing they can solve is the frame, and even the circuit boards can be made by themselves, but they can’t solve the special chips or sodium-ion batteries.

Under such circumstances, they naturally have to ask other technical foreign aid to help them, design or produce what they need.

In this process, those electric car dealers will naturally cede part of their profits to them.

Cut a little here, cut a little there, and others still grasp your core needs. In this case, they sell a low-end electric car.

The real profit may only be a few hundred yuan, and the high-end one may be a little more, but it will definitely not reach the profit level of Hantang Technology!

So the two-wheeled electric vehicles of Hantang Technology can have such a high profit, which is actually a special case, and this special case is not only when the two-wheeled electric vehicles appear, but also other products such as computers and mobile phones.

Because Hantang Technology can almost close-source the production of various accessories to form products, the profits that should be distributed in each link are distributed, but remain in the hands of Hantang Technology itself.
