Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 422: Damn this Hantang technology!
Chapter 422 Damn this Han and Tang technology!

On the other side, when Lin Xuan smiled, he didn’t know that a crisis was quietly brewing.

August 8, 2006!

Medi Country, Wall Street, Empire State Commercial Building.

At this time, rows of luxury cars gathered in the indoor parking lot of the Empire Commercial Building on Wall Street, so many citizens passing by and parking were exclaimed.

Because just what you can see, the value of those luxury cars has reached nearly more than 30 million US dollars!

Wall Street people passing by at this time, if they come here half an hour earlier, they will exclaim that the people who got off the limousine are all big bosses who can cause huge news with every movement!

But it’s a pity that because this is an indoor parking lot, there are so many luxury cars here and it doesn’t cause a lot of criticism.

At this time, in a certain large reception room of the Empire State Commercial Building, hundreds of bigwigs had already gathered here.

If any reporters come here, they will exclaim one after another.

Because here are the major technology companies in the United States, as well as the leaders of the three major industries of automobile and oil!

Every action made by the big guys here can cause a global shock and make huge news.

The most frightening thing is that among so many bigwigs, Jobs, the president of Pingguo Company, is just an ordinary person. This shows how influential this meeting is!

”Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I am the host of this meeting, Intel’s new president Pat Singer, and everyone must have heard of me.”

Regarding this, the hundreds of bigwigs at the scene had no opinion, but at this moment a sliver of disdain flashed in the eyes of a few bigwigs in the energy automobile industry.

Because Pat Singer has not led Intel to become stronger since taking over Intel, but Intel has become weaker and weaker under his leadership.

So Pat Singer, who does not have enough records, has not been recognized by everyone, but Intel has no conflicts with other companies, so the big guys on the scene have no nonsense.

Pat Singer’s ability to achieve such a status is naturally due to his skill in observing words and deeds.

Catching the disdain in the eyes of several bigwigs in the energy automobile industry, he was a little angry, but after all, it was not easy for him to get angry with so many bigwigs in front of him, so he said with a calm face:

”According to the information our company has learned, it was August 5th three days ago.

Daxia New Battery Research Company, jointly established by Hantang Technology and Daxia Petrochemical, has officially applied for a series of patents for sodium-ion batteries in various countries around the world.

After nearly two days of research, the professor at Stanford University speculated that the sodium-ion battery has been successfully developed based on the known patent data!

The energy density of its sodium-ion battery is expected to reach between 120~155wh/kg. It can be said that the technology is mature!

As long as the problem of mass production is solved, sodium-ion batteries will have an impact on various industries around the world! ”

Following Pat Singer’s words, the scene fell into silence after speaking.

At this time, the expressions of the bosses in the automobile industry and even the oil industry changed slightly, and their eyebrows were frowned.

Although the energy density of sodium-ion batteries is only between 120wh/kg and 155wh/kg, it seems that it can only compete with current lithium-ion batteries, which is far inferior to ternary lithium batteries.

But the problem is that sodium-ion batteries are not like other batteries!

Nadium, an important element of sodium-ion batteries, is one of the most abundant elements on the earth’s surface. It can be extracted in large quantities from ores and seawater, which means its manufacturing cost is extremely low!

Among other things, sea salt extracted from seawater every year contains a lot of sodium!

If the sodium is extracted from the sea salt again, the sodium element extracted from the sea salt in Daxia alone can make billions of electric vehicles!

This also means that sodium-ion batteries are uncontrollable, and no one can prevent other countries from producing sodium-ion batteries, so the birth of this thing will undoubtedly shake the global energy structure!

“I’m afraid the price of oil won’t be high anymore.”

At this time, Jobs in the crowd sighed softly.

He is not lamenting that the price of oil will not rise in the future, and sighing for the reduction of living costs for people around the world.

Instead, he sighed that Hantang Technology had a huge cash source, because this would make Pingguo Company more competitive!

”Damn this Han Tang technology.”

Among the crowd, a handsome and greasy middle-aged foreigner gritted his teeth and said something.

His name is Yorkson, and he is the president of Exxon Oilfield.

Nobody knows better than the oil companies what a cheap mass-produced rechargeable battery could do to the world!

Although I don’t know what the energy density of the future sodium-ion battery will be, the experts and professors at Stanford said that the energy density of the battery can be 120~155wh/kg.

In terms of the lowest 120wh/kg, it is only 10wh/kg weaker than the current ordinary lithium battery. This energy density is already good!

And with the reputation of Hantang Technology, the energy density of this sodium-ion battery may not be the lowest 120wh/kg.

Instead, it may reach 130wh/kg or even 140wh/kg. As for the theoretical upper limit of 155wh/kg, I dare not think about it!

So, that Lin Xuan is really a heinous crime!

At this time, the new president of Motorola, Jasange, asked curiously:

”If sodium-ion batteries can be mass-produced, what will be the cost difference between sodium-ion batteries and lithium-ion batteries?”

Hearing that, many people who are not involved in the electronics industry are also betting on Pat Singer, waiting for Pat Singer’s answer.

”According to the current price of sodium and lithium, if the production cost of sodium ions is similar to that of lithium batteries, then sodium-ion batteries will be 30% to 40% cheaper than lithium-ion batteries.

If it is a ternary lithium battery, the cost of a lithium-ion battery is only 30% of that of a ternary lithium battery! ”

Hearing the words of Intel President Pat Singer, the scene fell into silence again.

Although according to Pat Singer’s words, this sodium-ion battery is only up to 40% cheaper than ordinary lithium batteries.

But the problem is that the price of lithium batteries is not high now. If it is cheaper by at most 40%, the price of rechargeable batteries will be even lower!

The reason why lithium batteries were not used in battery cars or three-wheeled motorcycles before was because of safety factors.

In fact, the main reason is that the whole set is a bit expensive, as long as few people can afford it, it is destined to only serve the mid-to-high-end field.

But now the price is 30%~40% cheaper, and the final cost may be almost the same as that of ordinary lead-acid batteries!

As for other fields of energy storage power generation, mobile electronic products, vehicle transportation, energy storage and so on.

Faced with such a low price, they must not be tempted to switch batteries or other batteries to sodium-ion batteries.

So a change in the global energy world was born here, and the worst thing is that they seem to have nothing to do about it.
