Chapter 403: Optical Fiber Cloud Computing Technology
Chapter 403 Optical Fiber Cloud Computing Technology

July 13, 2006

Mediguo, make an appointment.

”Hello, welcome.”

In the magnificent hall, a young and beautiful receptionist is smiling and saying hello to a middle-aged man.

”Hello.”

The middle-aged man nodded slightly, then walked into the hall with a smile.

At this time, the plaque outside the hall reads Cloud Computing Service Center!

Entering the hall and seeing the furnishings in the hall, the middle-aged man showed curiosity.

At this time, a device with a dense fiber optic harness is displayed in the hall, and there are several computers next to it. It can be seen that this is a hall displaying the entire system.

“This is the cloud computing fiber optic switch of our cloud computing alliance. Such a cloud computing fiber optic switch can serve up to 5,000 computers at the same time.

Its functions are very powerful, it can be said that we can do everything that Hantang Technology Cloud Computing can do! ”

”Ok.”

The middle-aged man nodded slightly when he heard the beauty reception introduce the optical fiber cloud computing technology equipment.

He is not surprised by this. After all, if the optical fiber cloud computing technology wants to compete with the wireless optical cloud computing technology of Hantang Technology, its basic functions must be satisfied.

It can’t be that Hantang Technology has wireless optical cloud computing, but the cloud computing alliance’s optical fiber cloud computing does not.

On the other side, the beautiful receptionist then said:

“If you have used cloud computing with wireless optical communication technology, you will know that the most feared thing about wireless optical communication technology is heavy rain and cloudy weather.

Moreover, it does not support large-scale cloud computing connections, and its largest range is only equivalent to the size of a small town or an urban area.

But our optical fiber cloud computing technology has no such troubles, and we are not afraid of cloudy weather and heavy rain interference.

In addition, the range that our optical fiber cloud computing technology can connect far exceeds that of Hantang Technology’s cloud computing technology. Even if it connects to a city, it can maintain a stable range! ”

At this time, the beautiful receptionist was blushing and telling lies.

There is no essential difference between the actual optical fiber communication technology and the wireless optical cloud computing technology, and the delays of both parties are also similar. After all, they both propagate signals at the speed of light.

What Hantang Technology can’t do, the cloud computing of optical fiber communication can’t do it either!

Hantang Technology can borrow the computing power of an entire province while maintaining ultra-low latency.

That’s because a dedicated cloud computing facility is built, and it doesn’t compete with other ordinary computers for bandwidth, thereby reducing the final delay.

So at this time, the beautiful receptionist claimed that the optical fiber communication technology can maintain ultra-low latency when maintaining a city range, far surpassing optical wireless optical cloud computing technology, which is a lie!

”Can I use it and see?”

The middle-aged man asked the beautiful receptionist curiously.

”Of course.”

The beautiful receptionist replied with a smile, and then led the middle-aged man to a computer.

The computer at this time is not a Hantang computer, but an X86 compatible computer from Medigo, and the computer processor at this time is the second-generation Core processor.

As for the system, it is also the WindowsVista system launched by Weisoft some time ago, but this WindowsVista system is not an ordinary version of the WindowsVista system.

It is a Windows Vista system that has undergone a certain in-depth magic modification, and the biggest change is the change in the network.

Its network speed at the network level has been directly increased from 100M to 20G\\40G\\60G!

And its motherboard is also different from ordinary motherboards. Its motherboard adopts the latest X86 bus standard.

It is said that the bus bandwidth can reach 8GT/s, which is only half weaker than Hantang Technology’s second-generation Hantang bus 16GT/s!

”Cloud computing software?”

At this time, after the middle-aged man saw the cloud computing software on the computer desktop, he knew what the software represented, so he manipulated the mouse and clicked on the software.

At this time, the software has been logged in, and there is no need to enter the account password, so after clicking the software lightly, the software interface will directly enter the user’s personal interface.

At this time, the user’s personal interface is displaying the computing power units currently available for borrowing.

From the perspective of the software interface, the layout of this software is almost the same as that of Hantang Technology’s cloud computing software. Except for a slight change in the appearance and color, the layout is similar.

However, compared to Hantang Technology’s cloud computing, the Cloud Computing Alliance’s cloud computing lacks a cloud computer start button.

In this regard, the middle-aged man who saw nothing new clicked the zoom-out background icon and looked at other things.

”Sir, you can try these two computing power testing software, the names of these two software are CPU-Z and GPU-Z.

Through these two softwares, you can intuitively see the power of our cloud computing technology! ”

The middle-aged man who heard the words nodded slightly.

He has used the cloud computing of Hantang Technology, and also knows that the new version of CPU-Z and GPU-Z can test the computing power of the computer after using cloud computing.

Among them, the software called CPU-Z and GPU-Z has been used by middle-aged men more than once. After all, among other things, he has used it several times when cloud computing was first born.

So he skillfully clicked on the software called CPU-Z, and then waited for the automatic performance test of this software, wanting to see what the running score is.

”Ding!”

It took more than a minute, and with the crisp sound, the CPU-Z running score software’s running score was officially released!

”Does the multi-core running score reach 12,000 points? Not bad.”

The middle-aged man nodded slightly, not too surprised in his eyes.

To be honest, since the emergence of cloud computing technology, it is normal for multi-core running scores to easily reach more than 10,000 points.

Let alone 10,000 points, even if it reaches 100,000 points, it is not enough to surprise him.

After all, in the era of cloud computing, as long as you have money, let alone 100,000 points, even 1 million points can be easily achieved.

So at this time, he nodded slightly to show that he knew, and was not surprised.

”Sir, our 10,000 points is actually not the limit. If you want to test, let alone 10,000 points, we can do even 10 million points!”

At this time, the beautiful receptionist proudly told about the power of optical fiber cloud computing technology.

”Yep.”

The middle-aged man nodded slightly again, and then asked a crucial question.

”Does your cloud computing technology need to be replaced with new motherboards and network cards? Will it support old computers?”

Hearing the middle-aged man’s question, the corner of the beautiful receptionist’s mouth twitched, and she lamented in her heart, ”This guy is a knowledgeable person, and it’s not easy to get a sales commission.”

But facing the customer’s question, the beautiful receptionist can only answer honestly:

“Our optical fiber cloud computing technology does not need to replace the motherboard, but in this case, the bus bandwidth is only 5GT/s, and the computing power of two computers can only be borrowed at most. If there is more, delays may occur.

So we suggest to replace our new motherboard, our new motherboard adopts the latest generation of X86 bus standard, with a large bus bandwidth of 8GT/s! ”
