Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 438: How much did you make with sodium-ion batteries and electric cars?
August 23, 2006, was the third day that Hantang Technology released sodium-ion batteries and two-wheeled electric vehicles.

During the third day, Lin Xuan finally found time to calculate the profit of Hantang Technology.

Speaking of which, during this period of time, Hantang Technology is said to have received a lot of orders for sodium-ion batteries and Hantang electric vehicles.

At this time, Lin Xuan, who finally got out of the research on electric vehicles and all-solid-state lithium batteries, came to the company. He wanted to see how much money Hantang Technology has made so far?

”Chen He, is the sales report from August 20th to 22nd ready?”

Lin Xuan asked Chen He with a serious face. For the statistics of the three days from August 20th to August 22nd, Lin Xuan had already assigned the task. What is the result now?

”The boss is ready.”

After finishing speaking, Chen He handed out a report to Lin Xuan.

At this time, this report contains many current performance reports of Hantang Technology.

This report includes the sales of sodium-ion batteries and two-wheeled electric vehicles from August 20 to August 22.

Seeing this, Lin Xuan slowly took the report, and then looked at the document on his chairman’s desk.

First is the news about sodium-ion batteries. At present, more than 400 companies around the world have sent intentional orders to Hantang Technology for sodium-ion batteries.

Among these intentional orders, there are various countries, and even the country of Medi and the island country!

As for the orders from the island country and the US company, Hantang Technology naturally discarded them directly, and only let Lin Xuan know that there was such a thing in the form of a record.

Put aside the work of the United States and the island country. At this time, there are still more than 300 remaining companies in other countries around the world, but currently due to insufficient production.

In fact, only a dozen or so companies that cooperate well with Hantang Technology can obtain Hantang Technology’s sodium-ion batteries, including TLC mobile phone company within Daxia, Jinli Mobile Phone, Luyuan Electric Vehicle, Jieyong Electric Vehicle and so on.

Lin Xuan did not stop domestic mobile phone and electric vehicle peers from purchasing sodium-ion batteries. After all, they may make money, but Hantang Technology will never lose money!

Taking an electric car as an example, the cost of the battery often accounts for between 30% and 60% of the energy, so Hantang Technology will never lose money, and the more they sell, the more Hantang Technology will earn.

Although this will invisibly squeeze the market share of Hantang two-wheeled electric vehicles, a company is destined to be unable to eat the entire market. Hantang Technology only needs to concentrate on the mid-to-high-end market.

After all, the products of Hantang Technology are somewhat high-end after all. After all, so many black technologies are used, Hantang Technology can’t launch an electric car that is actually indistinguishable from ordinary battery cars just by changing the battery, right?

Although the sales volume is large, the profit is not as high as expected. After all, according to the 28th law, the mid-to-high end can often eat 80% of the profits of the entire industry.

As long as Hantang Technology does a good job in the mid-to-high end, it can take 80% of the profits. As for the low-end market below 3,000 yuan, they may make blood, but Hantang Technology will never lose money!

Among them, it is worth mentioning that domestic procurement is mainly for electric vehicles and mobile phones, while foreign procurement is mainly for mobile phones and mobile electronic products.

These foreign companies include Sanxing Company, Heimei Mobile Phone Company, and several mobile electronics companies.

However, it is worth mentioning that whether it is a domestic enterprise or a foreign enterprise, because of the insufficient production capacity of Hantang Technology, it is currently only supplying them in small batches.

After all, the majority of the production capacity of the Han and Tang Dynasties factory naturally has to prioritize meeting its own needs. How can it be possible to give priority to external supply if its own needs are not met?

So the current production capacity of sodium-ion batteries is fully supplying the production of Han and Tang two-wheeled electric vehicles!

”Have you received a total of 30 billion summer long-term orders for sodium-ion batteries?”

Lin Xuan looked at the summary on the ion battery and murmured, then nodded slightly to express his approval. It seems that this is a long-term meal ticket.

At present, Hantang Technology has almost completed the closed-source production of sodium-ion batteries. The only loophole at present is the source of high-purity sodium metal for sodium-ion batteries.

But this is actually not a loophole, because Hantang Technology directly cooperates with several large state-owned sea salt companies in China and directly purchases high-purity sodium metal from them, so the risk is actually very small.

Knowing the sum of orders and sales, Lin Xuan’s eyes slowly shifted to the right, looking at the profit column.

”The profit can reach 65%. Is this the level of profit in the energy industry? It’s a huge profit!”

Lin Xuan couldn’t help but marvel at the profit above.

Because the profit here is actually the actual profit after discounting the initial scientific research investment, equipment investment, material expenditure, tax cost, labor cost and other costs!

After deducting so many expenses at this time, selling a battery can earn 65% of the selling price.

Although the profit margin of many products of Hantang Technology far exceeds that of sodium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries are different from other products. Na-ion batteries are actually a long-term product.

It is actually very difficult to be replaced. After all, the progress of batteries is very difficult. In this case, a battery can be sold for many years under a different name every few years!

So 65% profit is already very good, and it has made people jealous. After all, this is a long-term 65% profit, not a short-term 65% profit!

Lin Xuan nodded slightly to express his satisfaction.

From a certain level, even if sodium-ion batteries face the future all-solid-state lithium batteries, they will have a good market.

Because the two are not in a competitive relationship that must be replaced!

After the birth of the all-solid-state lithium battery, it is destined to occupy the high-end market and serve high-end products, while the sodium-ion battery is destined to serve the low-end because of its low price and large storage capacity.

So the two are not a life-and-death competitive relationship, but a harmonious development relationship of mutual dependence and mutual support!

No one can replace anyone among them. Once a certain party is missing, it will be disastrous news for people all over the world.

Thinking of this, Lin Xuan began to calculate how much money Hantang Technology can make out of the more than 30 billion orders he has received so far?

”19.5 billion Xia Yuan?”

Whispering that this is an extremely huge amount for both ordinary people and companies, Lin Xuan couldn’t help but a slight smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

With the income of 19.5 billion Xia Yuan, Lin Xuan no longer has any worries about the future research and development of all-solid-state lithium batteries and electric vehicles. Money is such arrogance.

Thinking of this, Lin Xuan looked at the income of the next project, which is the sales of electric vehicles.
