Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 434: The disaster of Fengtian Motors!
Chapter 434 The disaster of Fengtian Motors!

So at this time, all the people raised their hands clamorously, hoping to be lucky enough to get the chance to answer, and then show their faces in front of the people of the whole country.

Responding to this, the presidents of Pingguo, Sanxing, Motorola, Exxon Petroleum, Tongyong Automobile, Fengtian Automobile, Bentian Automobile and other companies naturally looked extremely ugly.

At this time, Watanabe Showa, the president of Fengtian Company, had a look of panic on his face, because he discovered that the current sodium-ion batteries alone are actually capable of manufacturing electric vehicles.

Because the energy density of 150wh/kg is actually not low, although Watanabe Showa at this time has no experience and knowledge from the future.

But he also knows that with the current energy density, an electric car with a range of 400 kilometers can actually be manufactured!

Of course, the premise of this electric car is that the air conditioner is not turned on, and no additional power consumption is required!

But even so, an electric car that can travel 400 kilometers is not good news for Fengtian Motors.

Because not to mention 400 kilometers, even if they can drive 200 kilometers, it will be a huge shock to their Fengtian Motors!

200 kilometers can have an impact on their Fengtian car, and the impact of 400 kilometers on them is no less than a huge disaster, a disaster that may destroy them at any time!

Regarding this, if Lin Xuan knew the thoughts of Watanabe Showa, the president of Fengtian Company, he would nod slightly to express his approval, because the energy density of 150wh/kg is already very high.

The energy density of the blade battery that will allow BYD Auto to defeat the invincible in the world in later generations is actually not as good as the energy density of the sodium-ion battery at this time!

Because the energy density of blade batteries in later generations is only 140wh/kg, while the energy density of sodium-ion batteries at this time reaches 150wh/kg, which is 10wh/kg higher than that of blade batteries!

As for the lifespan, the sodium ion produced by Hantang Technology has a lifespan of 5,000 charge-discharge cycles, which is far more than that of the blade battery. After all, the lifespan of the blade battery is only more than 3,000 charge-discharge cycles.

It can be said that the sodium-ion battery produced by Hantang Technology has completely crushed their blade lithium iron phosphate battery!

Although their blade batteries are famous, blade batteries are essentially lithium iron phosphate batteries with very low energy density. .

Its success is only because of structural innovations that allow them to pack more batteries in the same area, and eventually run farther.

At this time, Hantang Technology can also manufacture blade sodium-ion batteries, which can borrow the advanced architecture of blade batteries to pack a larger capacity with a smaller volume.

In the end, the electric vehicle of Hantang Technology may be able to achieve 500 kilometers equipped with conventional vehicles, and further squeeze the area structure, and finally can achieve a terrifying level of 700 to 800 kilometers!

So if Lin Xuan knew the thoughts of Watanabe Showa, president of Fengtian Motor Company, he would very much agree.

But just using sodium-ion batteries to make electric cars is not enough to satisfy Lin Xuan, because it can run seven to eight hundred kilometers, and that is without turning on the air conditioner and other loads.

Once the air conditioner and other loads are turned on, the mileage will plummet. This is why electric vehicles in later generations have the nickname ”Electric Dad”. In fact, there is no way around it.

Because it is common for electric vehicles to have false bids in later generations, the bid is 400 kilometers, but in fact it can only be 350 kilometers.

And within the 350 kilometers, 20 to 30 kilometers should be set aside to find charging piles for charging, just in case climbing nests and other rescues.

So, the actual people can only use about 300 kilometers.

Once people turn on the air conditioner during the 300 kilometers, the cruising range will further decline from 300 kilometers.

In this case, 300 kilometers can actually drive 200 kilometers, which is considered a good thing.

So the owners of electric vehicles in later generations generally have mileage anxiety. Even if an electric vehicle with a distance of 400 kilometers travels a long distance, they will worry that they will not be able to return home, and they will not find a charging pile outside!

So only 400 kilometers or even 500 kilometers can not meet the requirements of Hantang Technology!

So sodium-ion batteries can only be low-end but not high-end. The mid-to-high end of Hantang Technology must start at least 1,000 kilometers and cap at 1,500 kilometers!

However, if the construction of super fast charging stations is more complete and better than later generations, it can reach the level of hundreds of thousands of super fast charging stations across the country.

Even an electric car with a range of only 400 kilometers will reduce anxiety a lot. After all, just think about charging it for 15 minutes or half an hour, and it can be charged anywhere in the country.

Then the mileage anxiety will be attenuated. At that time, people can boldly turn on the air conditioner and don’t have to worry about not being able to go home all day long.

But these are all things in the future. Now Lin Xuan’s goal is to develop all-solid-state lithium batteries, and wants to directly use all-solid-state lithium batteries to manufacture electric vehicles.

The energy density of sodium-ion batteries is too low, and the upper limit of using sodium-ion batteries to manufacture electric vehicles is there, so Lin Xuan wants to directly use all-solid-state lithium batteries to manufacture mid-to-high-end electric vehicles in one step!

Look back to the scene.

Amidst the ugly faces of the presidents of the major companies, Lin Xuan casually pointed to a lucky guest at this time. It was a cream student with glasses and fair skin.

”thanks!”

The butter student who took the microphone bowed down to thank the staff member, and then said nervously under the watchful eyes of hundreds of high-definition cameras:

“I have several anxieties about two-wheeled electric vehicles, the biggest of which is mileage anxiety, but this has been resolved, and the second anxiety is safety or anti-theft issues.”

Hearing the words of the butter student, the people at the scene nodded one after another.

Indeed, in this era of economic underdevelopment, there are many thieves.

In future generations, thieves will decrease because cameras are installed on the streets and even in many homes. When thieves go to steal something, they need to know whether there are cameras or not. They need to imagine the consequences of being caught, so there are very few thieves in future generations.

But there are not many cameras in this era. In those frontier cities with good economic development, it is good to say that there will be many cameras on prosperous streets and even in homes.

But the general situation across the country is that there are very few cameras. In this case, many thieves like to steal trams or directly steal batteries, so the anti-theft security of electric vehicles is a headache for many car owners.

Regarding this, Lin Xuan nodded slightly, then smiled and said:

”Is the electric vehicle anti-theft and safe? We have also made sufficient preparations in this regard.”

Hearing Lin Xuan’s words, the butter student’s eyes lit up, and then he looked at Lin Xuan curiously, waiting for Lin Xuan’s words.

At the same time, the others looked at Lin Xuan excitedly, curious about the reassuring technical selling point of Hantang Technology’s two-wheeled electric scooter in terms of safety and anti-theft.
