Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 429: Big changes on the global grid side!
Chapter 429 Major changes on the global grid side!

The guests at the scene burst into exclamations one after another, while the faces of the presidents of major foreign companies suddenly became gloomy.

Although the energy density of this sodium-ion battery is lower than that of a ternary lithium battery, it is cheap.

And the service life starts directly at 12 years. If it is well maintained, it will definitely be fine for 17 or 18 years!

Under such circumstances, Jobs, Pat Singer, Jasangel, Boss Sanxing Li, Fengtian Motors Watanabe Showa and other bigwigs from foreign companies all looked ugly.

At this point they already know that as long as the price of this sodium-ion battery is not too high, even the price is the same as that of an ordinary lithium battery.

This sodium-ion battery will completely replace the position of ordinary lithium batteries in the low-end market, completely kicking ordinary lithium batteries away!

So with the release of sodium-ion batteries, the global low-end rechargeable battery market will soon be replaced by sodium-ion batteries.

Of course, this does not seem to include the markets of Meidi Country and Island Country. After all, those two countries belong to the ”banned countries” of Hantang Technology.

at the same time.

The eyes of the guests lit up, and when the faces of the major foreign presidents were ugly, at this time, the eyes of a greasy man with an official face in the front row of the audience lit up.

He is the special guest of this press conference, and he is the representative of a company named Nanfang Power Grid!

At this time, he looked at the sodium-ion battery above, and felt that this sodium-ion battery would have a great effect on their Nanfang Power Grid Company!

As a practitioner in the power grid industry, he knows that the defect of the power grid is the imbalance between peak and low peak periods.

The problem is that people seldom use electricity at night, and the electricity produced will only be wasted. In order to avoid waste, the power plant can only make the generator operate at an ultra-low load.

In this case, the utilization rate of energy will cause great waste, which can be said to be extremely unenvironmental, uneconomical, and even less efficient!

The daytime is completely opposite to the night. People consume a lot of electricity during the day, especially after get off work, that is, after 6 p.m., the electricity load is very large.

In this case, in order to solve this problem, the generator must let the generator generate power at full capacity, but the problem is that the power generation is often insufficient at this time!

In order to meet the needs of the people of Daxia for electricity, Nanfang Power Grid Company is also to solve the problem of peaks and valleys.

They can only build new power plants, or build storage power plants, but no matter which cost is very high, it can be said to be a headache for Nanfang Power Grid Company.

But looking at this sodium-ion battery at this time, looking at the high energy density and long life of the sodium-ion battery, especially the long life of more than ten years, really made the representatives of Nanfang Power Grid shine.

Representatives of Nanfang Power Grid found that they have a better alternative solution for Nanfang Power Grid, if sodium-ion batteries are used as energy storage facilities.

That means they don’t have to build so many new power plants to solve the ”peak and trough” problem, and they don’t have to keep the generators at the lowest power operation state after people rest and sleep at night like now.

With sodium-ion batteries, they can keep the generator running at the highest efficiency all the time, and store the electricity generated at night in the sodium-ion battery energy storage station, and then take the electricity out when people are off work. Come out and use it.

”This is a magic tool for our power grid company, and the best thing is that it can be used continuously for more than ten years without considering the problem of replacement. The purchase price of sodium batteries should not be expensive. This is also very suitable for our Nanfang power grid company.”

Speaking of this, the representative of Nanfang Power Grid Company’s eyes lit up. He has decided to push forward this matter with all his strength after returning. He believes that if this matter is successfully promoted, then his future career will be smooth.

After all, sodium-ion batteries are too tempting for grid companies like them, and their help is no less than that of a tiger with wings and soaring into the sky!

This is also a good thing for ordinary people, because power grid companies do not need to spend a lot of money to build new power plants and build old-fashioned energy storage facilities. After their operation and maintenance costs are reduced, it means that people will spend less on electricity consumption. .

Although the price may not drop in the future, at least it should not continue to increase, so this is a good thing for the common people.

At the same time, the representatives of many power grid companies at home and abroad who were watching the live broadcast were also impressed as if they had discovered a new world.

It has to be said that with the sodium-ion battery showing up to 5,000 charge-discharge cycles and its energy density of up to 150WH/KG, the sodium-ion battery is naturally suitable for the grid side!

For this reason, if Lin Xuan knew what they were thinking, he would show a faint smile to welcome them.

Because in the later generations, only the power grid companies within the scope of Daxia can swallow 52% of the domestic lithium battery production capacity, and this 52% of lithium battery production capacity is all used to solve the problem of ”peaks and valleys”.

At this time, they want to use sodium-ion batteries to assemble energy storage stations. This is also a good thing for Hantang Technology. After all, the power grid company is rich, and who doesn’t like rich customers?

Although it is not a great green era in which later generations emphasize green development and energy conservation and emission reduction, Lin Xuan believes that the power grid company alone can swallow up Hantang Technology’s hundred 20/30 production capacity!

Therefore, Lin Xuan very much welcomes the rich power grid companies to put their attention on sodium-ion batteries and buy Hantang Technology’s sodium-ion batteries for networking!

And it’s worth saying. Their goal is destined to be chosen only by Hantang Technology, because only Hantang Technology’s sodium-ion batteries can achieve a super long life of 5,000 charge-discharge cycles.

According to what Lin Xuan learned, the current life of Daxia Petrochemical’s factory can’t reach 5,000 charge-discharge cycles at all, and they can only achieve about 3,500 charge-discharge cycles.

Regarding this point, there have also criticized Hantang Technology for keeping a hand and not authorizing the core technology to them. After all, Hantang Technology can achieve 5,000 charge and discharge cycles, and their factory can only do 3,500 times if they work hard. The number of charge and discharge cycles.

And the most damning thing is that the energy density can’t reach the 150wh/kg of Hantang Technology, but can only reach about 140wh/kg.

So Daxia Petrochemical Company is actually quite critical of Hantang Technology, but this kind of criticism does not affect the cooperation between the two parties.

After all, facing the next more attractive all-solid-state lithium battery, they also pinched their noses and acquiesced in this matter, and also acquiesced in the future sodium-ion battery market. They will do low-end things, and Hantang Technology will do high-end things.
