Chapter 151 Sanxing Electronics’ Begging! (9000 words today)

This means that Hantang Technology has solved the problem of WIPI chip production!

Maybe from now on, with the release of high-end mobile phones in Han and Tang Dynasties, Daxia’s mobile phones will enter the WiFi era!

”This guy changed Daxia again!”

At this time, Xu Hua was full of jealousy and said his words of infinite jealousy.

Honestly speaking, since Hantang Technology released the Hantang 2 Labor Edition mobile phone, the low-end mobile phone market in Daxia has undergone earth-shaking changes.

It allowed many people who didn’t have mobile phones to use mobile phones, because after the emergence of Hantang Technology, the price of mobile phones dropped to 300 yuan, which made many people bite their teeth and afford it.

In addition, since the emergence of Hantang Technology, people have new purchase demand indicators for low-end mobile phones.

That is, it needs to be able to chat with penguins, be able to resist falls, and be waterproof. These are the changes that Lin Xuan brought to Daxia.

Seeing that Lin Xuan is going to release a high-end mobile phone at this time, it also shows that Lin Xuan may change Daxia again.

If there is no accident, from the release of this mobile phone, Lin Xuan may add an indicator for Daxia’s mobile phone, that is, the WiFi function must be available!

It is the dream of many people to change the world by himself, and many people have tried to realize their dreams, but they all failed. At this time, Lin Xuan has changed Daxia and even the world!

At this time, Xu Hua’s heart is infinitely jealous!

…

Time continued to pass, and in a blink of an eye, it was December 24, 2004, the day before the press conference.

On this day, Lin Xuan from Hantang Technology and Boss Li from Sanxing Electronics finally officially met!

Although Lin Xuan had gone to the chip factory of Sanxing Electronics before and found them to manufacture Hanfeng first-generation chips.

But at that time, Lin Xuan didn’t meet the boss of Sanxing Electronics, Li. He didn’t expect that the two of them finally met formally the day before Hantang Technology released the high-end mobile phone.

”Mr. Lin, nice to meet you.”

Boss Li smiled and stretched out his hand with a full face.

”Nice to meet you, Boss Li.”

Lin Xuan also showed a friendly smile.

The cooperation between Sanxing Electronics and Hantang Technology is good. This kind of good cooperative relationship originated from the fact that Sanxing mobile phone adopted the mobile phone system of Hantang Technology.

So Lin Xuan has a good impression of Sanxing Electronics, so when the chip design was completed and which chip foundry to choose, Lin Xuan finally chose Sanxing Electronics as his chip foundry.

”Come on, I’ve prepared the banquet, let’s go eat first.”

Friends came to treat them with good wine and food, and hungry wolves came to treat them with shotguns.

So at this time, Lin Xuan received Boss Li on a rare occasion, which would shock people’s jaws.

But the fact is that, Lin Xuan is not unreasonable, but he doesn’t like to talk about things at the wine table when it is not necessary.

Lin Xuan prefers to cooperate with friends with his dignified strength, not to play with the human relationship network commonly used in Daxia.

”That would be disrespectful.”

Boss Li nodded with a smile, and then the two left the headquarters of Hantang Technology Company under the protection of bodyguards from both sides, and headed for the nearest five-star hotel.

About half an hour later, as the two parties sat down, other company executives beside them also started talking.

Lin Xuan from Hantang Technology and Boss Li from Sanxing Electronics were also polite to each other, saying meaningless words.

These are to compliment each other on how good the performance of the other company is, how rare it is to achieve such a result, or to tell about the difficulties encountered in the past, etc.

Seeing that the politeness was almost done, Boss Li also ordered his subordinates to take out a document and put it in front of Lin Xuan’s desk. When Lin Xuan looked surprised, Boss Li said slowly:

”Actually, I came here this time because of a kind invitation.”

When Lin Xuan picked up the document in surprise, Boss Li also slowly explained the purpose of the document:

”Your company’s Han and Tang instruction sets are very powerful. To be honest, although we, Sanxing Electronics, have produced Hanfeng first-generation chips for your company for several months.

However, the excellent performance of the Hanfeng first-generation chip still made our company very shocked and envious. ”

Speaking of this, Boss Li suddenly stood up, bowed deeply, and then held Lin Xuan’s hand and begged:

”Although we at Sanxing Electronics have the right to produce and use the ARM instruction set, this instruction set is completely inferior to your company’s Hantang instruction set.

So in order for our Sanxing mobile phone to develop a stronger processor, we really need the Hantang instruction set.

If your company authorizes the production and use of the Hantang instruction set to us, we, Sanxing Electronics, are willing to pay high patent licensing fees and subsequent patent fees!

From now on, when Sanxing Electronics manufactures chips for Hantang Technology, it will give Hantang Technology a lower price! ”

At this time, Boss Li has given huge benefits, and holding Lin Xuan’s hand seems so humble!

”Is it the instruction set of the Han and Tang Dynasties?”

Lin Xuan narrowed his eyes slightly, thinking that the boss Li of Sanxing Electronics just came to see his high-end mobile phone release this time.

Didn’t think of the real purpose, but wanted to take this opportunity to find myself to obtain the production authorization of the Han and Tang instruction sets.

Lin Xuan was ambiguous about the fact that Sanxing Electronics wanted the Han and Tang instruction set.

Regarding the authorization of Sanxing Electronics to produce instruction sets, Lin Xuan’s attitude is rather vague. There are good and bad sides here.

Because if the Hantang instruction set is authorized to Sanxing Electronics, Lin Xuan will have one more competitor in the future.

But if it is not authorized to Sanxing Electronics, Lin Xuan will be one more competitor, as Boss Li said, they have the production authorization of the ARM instruction set.

Lin Xuan does not authorize them, so they will use the ARM instruction set at worst.

On the contrary, if Lin Xuan authorizes them, he will also get many benefits, the most obvious benefit is that Lin Xuan can get a production authorization fee.

The second obvious advantage is that Lin Xuan’s Hanfeng first-generation chip purchase costs are lower, which means that Lin Xuan will be able to earn more profits when selling mobile phones.

And the hidden advantage is that the use range of the Han and Tang instruction sets will be larger. The more people use the Han and Tang instruction sets, the more prosperous the Han and Tang instruction sets will be.

The instruction set is for use after all. It is an instruction standard. If the Hantang instruction set can achieve the same status as ARM, that is what Lin Xuan wishes.

Because if it becomes an ARM company, then Lin Xuan will hold the handle of all chip companies, just like the previous ARM company held the handle of Guowei’s ARM instruction set authorization.

So Lin Xuan pondered for a while, if he is satisfied with the conditions given by the other party, then there is no harm in authorizing the other party.

Anyway, it is not to authorize the first-generation Hanfeng or Tangfeng chips to the other party, but to authorize the other party to use the Han-Tang instruction set.

Because you can’t get anything, let others directly adopt the ARM instruction set, it is better to grasp the handle of the other party.

However, the authorization must be limited to the third-level authorization at the highest level, and Lin Xuan will never authorize the permanent buyout-level authorization at the fourth level.

Just like ARM will never authorize the level 4 instruction set to Guowei Company or even Sanxing Electronics Company.

Level 4 instruction set authorization is equivalent to the other party directly buying out all subsequent benefits of the Han and Tang instruction set.

And also has the authority to change the instruction set or follow-up development, which is equivalent to giving the hen to others. Lin Xuan naturally disdains the behavior of selling the hen and not being able to eat eggs.

So Lin Xuan will only authorize the third-level instruction set at most, that is, the other party can develop its own processor based on the Han and Tang instruction sets.

It is equivalent to using Lin Xuan’s meat dishes, and they bought a little green vegetables and finally made a good dish.

Looked down at the Han and Tang instruction set authorization contract drawn up by the other party, and spent about 5 minutes reading the entire contract from beginning to end, then looked at Boss Li who was sitting on the stool waiting for his reply, and said:

”Boss Li, I wonder if your company knows the unspoken rules of our Han and Tang instruction set authorization?”

In this contract, Sanxing Electronics gave a fee of 5 million US dollars for the authorization of the Hantang instruction set, and also gave great discounts in the foundry contract.

For example, for the first generation of Hanfeng chips, the other party is willing to reduce the price of the foundry, and finally the cost of the tariffs of the two countries.

Lin Xuan found that the chip price of the first generation of Hanfeng has been reduced from 20 yuan to 15 yuan, which means that Lin Xuan’s profit for each mobile phone can increase by 5 yuan!

In addition, regarding the fee for the instruction set patent, the other party also gave a relatively standard fee.

The cost is slightly higher than that of ARM, and it can be seen that Sanxing is more sincere.

But Lin Xuan was very dissatisfied with one point in the other party’s contract, so Lin Xuan pointed out his dissatisfaction.

”Unspoken rules?”

Boss Li said something in surprise, then nodded to Lin Xuan as if thinking of something, and said:

”Mr. Lin is saying that if Sanxing Electronics develops new computing instructions based on the Hantang instruction set, will Hantang automatically obtain automatic authorization for the new instructions?!”

Speaking of this, Boss Li’s face is not very good-looking. He didn’t expect Lin Xuan to play the trick of giving you a seed and then putting away a tree!

Although Sanxing Electronics has not obtained the Hantang instruction set, but with the strength of Sanxing Electronics, after obtaining the Hantang instruction set, Sanxing Electronics will definitely develop its own processor.

In the process of developing the processor, maybe Sanxing Electronics will develop its own computer instructions, which are valuable assets.

Now, once the automatic authorization instruction set just mentioned is signed, Sanxing Electronics is equivalent to planting a tree with great difficulty and the tree bears fruit.

The result is forced to share with others, how can this be satisfying? So in the contract just now, Boss Li didn’t write this unspoken rule.

”Mr. Lin, your request is a bit unacceptable. There is no such treaty with ARM.”

Boss Li began to complain, and then played the emotional card:

”Mr. Lin, you see that when no company used your Hantang mobile phone system, our Sanxing mobile phone was the first to support your Hantang mobile phone operating system.

When you need chip tape-out, even if we suspend production at Sanxing, we will give priority to your Hanfeng chip tape-out...”

Today, three more nine thousand words are presented, because I decided to compete for the battle list, and the next recommendation must reach the standard before it can be listed. Now there are still 120 average points to reach the standard.

So I decided to compete for the battle power list. It would be good if I can stay in the top 100 in the battle power list. Brothers ask for support.
