Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 42: How far is smart manufacturing from us? (Part 3)
Chapter 42 How far is smart manufacturing from us? (Part 3)

”artificial intelligence?”

Hearing the artificial intelligence mentioned by Lin Xuan, the eyes of many technicians or bosses in the electronics industry lit up, and they seemed to think of something.

The concept of artificial intelligence has actually been proposed for a long time, but few people have been able to explain it clearly.

Hearing about the Internet and the combination of artificial intelligence and production machines at this time, they seemed to think of something.

Yes! When the production machine can be connected to the Internet, and the machine can also be programmed in real time and can be remotely controlled.

Then through big data computing, that is, artificial intelligence computing control, wouldn’t this allow artificial intelligence to control the operation of the machine?

As we all know, the automation level of many production equipment is actually very low, and they can only perform repetitive and monotonous work, which requires the existence of workers.

But if the production equipment can be connected to the Internet, and there is a magical artificial intelligence on the Internet that can control this equipment and the entire production line.

Then what kind of scene is this?

The role of human beings in it has been infinitely reduced. This is a future world that is extremely scary to think about!

And at this time some people can already see that if the cost of research and development is not considered now, the time to achieve this level is very close.

It can even be said that within a few years or more, if you really want to do it regardless of the cost, you can really make such a fully automated production line of the initial model!

As for the connection and transportation between commodities, that is, between production equipment and assembly lines, it can be solved by industrial robots!

As long as the production equipment can be connected to the network for real-time programming, coupled with an artificial intelligence real-time supervision, adjustment and correction, then such a fully intelligent factory seems to be really possible.

All people who think of this point are terrified. Thinking of this, Industry 4.0 seems to be very close to them!

Could it be that they have come to the eve of the fourth industrial revolution, and are their generation going to bear the early pains of the industrial revolution?

Many people fell silent, but there are not many people in the electronics industry. Actually, not many people think of this. Most of the bosses are looking at Lin Xuan curiously.

They don’t know the relationship between artificial intelligence, the Internet, and production equipment. Under such circumstances, Lin Xuan also solved the puzzle:

”I believe many people know that artificial intelligence technology has begun to develop in recent years, and various new algorithms are constantly updated every year. Artificial intelligence is also becoming more and more intelligent due to the introduction and application of new algorithms.

If this situation continues to develop, artificial intelligence will become more and more specialized, and it is not surprising that there will be an industrial artificial intelligence at that time. ”

After a pause, Lin Xuan sighed and said:

“Once a factory controlled by artificial intelligence is born, a round of industrial transformation will inevitably occur in the world.

A 24-hour non-sleeping production robot or a worker who needs five insurances and high wages, which one is more liked by the bosses? ”

Hearing Lin Xuan’s words, many viewers in front of the TV fell silent. They felt deep panic, which was the fear of being eliminated and unemployed!

Although their knowledge is limited, they don’t know that they are very close to the time when the enlightenment of the fourth industrial revolution broke out, and they don’t know that sixteen years later.

That is to say, in 2020, Guowei’s flagship mobile phone, the mobile phone production line of Meileg 40 has only 14 employees, and in 2015, the number of employees of Guowei’s flagship mobile phone production line is 97!

During this five-year period, as “smart factory” technology rapidly advanced, those 83 people lost their jobs!

At this time, the audience in front of the TV didn’t know what the future would be like, but when they heard Lin Xuan’s words, they all felt deep fear for the future...

Will they be eliminated by new technologies in the future?

”So what should we do under such circumstances? How should we meet the industrial transformation in the future, that is, Industry 4.0.

After all, simply being an ordinary unskilled worker really doesn’t have much future. With the deep integration of machinery in the factories of the future, ordinary workers will have fewer and fewer employment opportunities.

In this case, for ordinary people, I have a few opinions and suggestions. ”

After a pause, looking at the frowning and serious expressions of both the elites on the scene and the various bosses, Lin Xuan looked at the camera and gave his views and suggestions for ordinary people.

“For an ordinary person, I suggest that they enter or learn the knowledge of the three major industries.

The first is the mechanical and electrical engineering industry. Although the labor force can be greatly reduced after entering the era of Industry 4.0, the mechanical and electrical related industries will never lack job opportunities, but there will be more job opportunities.

After all, there are too many machines. After all, whether it is designing new mechanical equipment, repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment, these all require talents in the electromechanical industry.

The second industry is the computer-related industry. In the future, the computer industry will definitely be the core of Industry 4.0, and in the era of the recent booming Internet, learning to enter the computer industry is also the most profitable.

The third is the entertainment industry. In addition to film and television, music, novels, and games, I won’t mention anything else in the entertainment industry. In the era of Industry 4.0, the entertainment industry alone can support a large number of people’s employment and food and clothing. ”

At this time, the old horse with a thoughtful expression in his eyes slowly asked:

”Lin Xuan, can you tell us what people’s lives will be like after Industry 4.0 in the future?”

He is actually not interested in Industry 4.0 that Lin Xuan said, because he is not going to enter the manufacturing industry.

Although he knows that human beings are actually very close to the era of Industry 4.0 through a huge amount of knowledge, so what? !

His old horse is engaged in the online shopping industry, and no matter how the industrial industry changes, it has nothing to do with him. After all, the nature of the industry he is engaged in is only ”commodity intermediary”.

As long as there is still such behavior as buying and selling, his Taobao company will never be wiped out by Industry 4.0 along with the industrial transformation!

Taobao will always be invincible, and the only thing that can defeat Taobao is other online shopping platforms!

So the question he is more concerned about is actually the question he raised about how ordinary people will live in the future.

After all, how ordinary people live is really closely related to Tao Bao!

”How should I say this?”

Lin Xuan put his hand on his chin, and then began to meditate on the various news predictions he had heard in the past, and then slowly said:

“The future era may be called the era of big data. In that era, computers will definitely develop vigorously, and computer computing power will definitely continue to improve.

When the production equipment in the factory is connected to the Internet, all kinds of electrical appliances in life will definitely be connected to the network first.

All electronic devices and even furniture in people’s homes will be connected to the Internet. By then, a mobile phone may be able to control the entire family’s home appliances.

The third update is here, thank you brothers for your support, there will be another update after 6 o’clock!
