Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 6: Joint Vacuum (Part 3)
Chapter 6 Liaison Department (Part 3)

The staff meeting was very successful, although it has not officially started yet.

But everyone is full of imagination about the future, and they can’t wait to start working immediately to repay Lin Xuan’s kindness. It can be said that the hearts of employees have stabilized.

Soon, after the staff meeting, Lin Xuan came to the company’s R&D room non-stop, wanting to know what the company’s products are?

In the previous life, I had never heard of the brand of Hantang mobile phone, maybe there was once, but Lin Xuan in the previous life didn’t know such a company, maybe the company has been submerged in the trend of history.

So Lin Xuan came to the R&D room of the factory, wanting to know about the company’s products.

”Is this our phone?”

Lin Xuan looked at the two mobile phones in front of him, and asked Chen Ke, the technical director beside him.

This Chen Ke is the person in charge of the technical department of Hantang Technology Company. It can be said that he is ultimately responsible for all technical issues of Hantang Company.

Among them, the two mobile phones in front of him were developed by him, and he is also a talented student, a postgraduate student of Postgraduate University!

Back then, Lin Xuan’s ”cheap dad” gave him a house and a car, and finally added the temptation of a super high salary, so he stayed and signed a 10-year exclusive employment contract.

At this time, Chen Ke picked up an old-looking black and white screen mobile phone, then put it aside and said:

“Although we have two mobile phones in Hantang Mobile, but because the accessories of this mobile phone are more expensive, we no longer produce this old model of mobile phone.

Among them, this old model of mobile phone also made a good contribution for us, with a total sales volume of 34,000 units. ”

Speaking of which, Chen Ke picked up the color screen mobile phone beside him.

This is a ”big-screen mobile phone” with a screen size of one inch. A one-inch screen is already a big screen in this era.

”Is this mobile phone using a chip from Unifac?”

In the later generations, Lianfa is a well-known smart phone chip provider, but few people know that Lianfa used to be the absolute overlord in the field of counterfeit mobile phones, with a company’s market share reaching 60%.

This company was mainly engaged in the research and development of decoding chips for CD and DVD discs at the beginning. After the stock price skyrocketed in New Century in 2001, they resolutely entered a new field, that is, the field of mobile phone chips!

After that, they naturally developed chips step by step. In the middle of 2003, they finally released the first-generation chip of the KTM series that was successfully recorded in history, the MT6205 chip!

But it is a pity that the MT6205 mobile phone chip they released in mid-2003 did not sell as expected.

Because the MT6205 chip is not essentially different from other mobile phone chips at this time, although everyone admits that this is a chip with relatively good performance among the same type of chips.

But the problem is that if you want to be familiar with a new mobile phone chip, you need to study time and inevitably increase the cost of scientific research.

In this case, those mobile phone manufacturers naturally don’t want to enter an unfamiliar chip.

So the MT6205 chip released by Lianfa in the middle of 2003 hit the street, and it was unknown from the middle of the year to the end of the year. It can only rely on the fact that it is cheaper than other chips and has little sales.

After the failure of the attempt, Lianfake naturally learned from the painful experience, so they decided to carry out great changes in the field of mobile phones.

In 2004, they cooperated with other electronic motherboard companies to establish Zhida, a mobile phone integrated design company.

This Zhida company is a company that uses Lianfa’s mobile phone chips and baseband chips to directly design circuit boards.

This design is to directly integrate the mobile phone processor chip, baseband chip and even the system with the basic mobile phone software, and directly help the mobile phone company complete 60% of the scientific research tasks.

After that, at the beginning of the next year, there was a one-stop integrated solution for the memory and the screen.

It can be said that as long as you add peripheral accessories such as casing, speaker, camera, radio module, etc., this is a new mobile phone!

This is the one-stop solution of Lianfuke KTM, which is famous in history. Because of the birth of this solution, the threshold for manufacturing mobile phones has been lowered infinitely.

It can be said that this one-stop solution has laid a solid foundation for the birth and **** of the knockoff phones of later generations.

Of course, in April 2004, Zhida Company was established only a few months ago, and the first generation of one-stop solution products has not yet been launched.

So the first-generation KTM one-stop solution of Lianfuke officially appeared, and that was still a few months later.

According to history, after the launch of the KTM one-stop solution of Lianfa, it became widely known soon.

After one or two months of brewing, it officially broke out on a large scale in 2005. This year is called the first year of the birth and explosion of copycat phones!

But these are things in the second half of the year. It is only April in the first half of the year, and there are still a few months before the official outbreak of counterfeit phones.

”I didn’t expect the boss to know the name of Lianfuke, and also know that Lianweike has manufactured mobile phone chips.”

Chen Ke glanced at Lin Xuan in surprise. He didn’t expect this rich second generation to know more than he imagined.

He actually knew about Lianfuke Company, and even knew that Lianfuke had launched a mobile phone chip. It seems that the boss is still very concerned about the knowledge of the mobile phone industry.

Since this is the case, it will be easy to talk next, so Chen Ke nodded slowly and said:

”That’s right, this phone is indeed using the KTM chip of Unifac.

After all, our Hantang company is not capable of designing mobile phone chips, so the chips for mobile phones are all purchased from other companies, because the combination of mobile phones and communication chips of Lianfa is cheaper.

So when we were preparing to develop the second-generation mobile phone, we finally chose this chip. ”

”Ok.”

Lin Xuan nodded to express his understanding.

He is not surprised by this, after all, chip design and manufacturing are not as simple as imagined.

China is very backward in the chip industry, and the only achievement so far is the launch of a Godson processor.

According to history, this situation will not be resolved until a few years before Lin Xuan travels.

Thinking of this, Lin Xuan clenched his fists. This time, he absolutely wants to change all this and change the backward pattern of Daxia’s chip industry in the future.

He wants to make Daxia’s chips rise and then supply them to the world, becoming an important supplier of chips in the world!

He wants to let Daxia’s chips enter the world, into every household in the world, and then tell those despicable people ”We can do it in Daxia!”
