Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 20: Industry summit?
Chapter 20 Industry Summit?

It is important to know that Bodao Company spends as much as 258 million yuan in advertising marketing expenses every year, but only invests 40 million yuan in scientific research a year!

The investment in scientific research is only one-sixth of the advertising cost. This is the ridiculous situation in the Bodao mobile phone.

But it is Xu Bo’s cousin, Xu Hua, the head and founder of Bodao Company who implements this strategy!

”Stop using aggressive tactics, Xu Bo!”

Xu Hua said to Xu Bo with a gloomy expression.

If they weren’t related, and Xu Bo’s abilities were really good, he would definitely have fired this Xu Bo who was always contradicting his strategy.

Can’t this guy see the pressure of the company? !

The company needs a lot of money to operate. This Xu Bo always wanted the company to increase investment in scientific research, but he never thought about how the money came from?

If there is more investment in scientific research, then other things will inevitably decrease. This is impossible, after all, there is only so much money.

Take this self-developed system as an example, Microsoft has invested more than 30,000 people in the development of XP system.

Even if the system complexity of the mobile phone is not as complex as that of the XP system, no matter what, it must reach 1/30 of others, that is, 1,000 people.

This Xu Bo always said that self-developed system and self-developed system, he never thought that if the company increased by more than 1,000 people.

Moreover, these people are not ordinary workers, but skilled workers with high salaries. How much does the company need to spend for this?

Really, thinking of this, Xu Hua was a little angry at Xu Bo’s ignorance, his actions were too reckless and immature.

Obviously, Xu Bo and Xu Hua have huge differences on the development of the company, and neither of them can convince them.

But Xu Hua clearly has the upper hand. After all, he is the founder and boss of the company, while Xu Bo is just a wage earner. It goes without saying who the company will listen to.

Ignoring Xu Bo’s aggrieved expression, Xu Hua turned to look at a bald middle-aged man beside him:

”Okay, Director Lin Hua, I want to ask if you can develop an ultra-low-cost mobile phone specifically for farmers within a month?”

This Lin Hua is the technical director of Bodao Mobile, and he is also the person with the best technology in Bodao Mobile. All Bodao mobile phones are developed by him.

”Such a mobile phone is very simple, we can use our wave island mobile phone a few years ago to change the low-end mobile phone technology.

Reducing the screen, increasing the battery capacity, and increasing the volume for reinforcement can create such a so-called migrant worker mobile phone.

However, the profit of such a mobile phone may be very little, and the profit of a single device may not exceed 30 yuan.

Unless we use MediaTek chips, we can increase the profit by more than a dozen yuan, but if we use MediaTek chips, it will take two months to develop them.

After all, our scientific research department is not familiar with MediaTek chips, and we used Texas Instruments chips before. ”

”Yes, let’s rush to manufacture the mobile phone with a profit of no more than 30 yuan, but the other mobile phone will also be designed and manufactured at the same time. I will see the mobile phone with the MediaTek chip within two months!”

Xu Hua slowly gave out tasks and orders.

”Well, I see, this matter is very simple.”

The technical director named Lin Hua easily agreed, and it was easy for him to develop such a special mobile phone for migrant workers.

”Then that’s it, everyone go back and do their own things.”

Seeing that the matter had come to an end, Xu Hua also turned his head and glanced at the backbone of the company around him, and then announced the adjournment of the meeting.

Then the key cadres of each company left the conference room one after another, including Xu Hua, the boss of the company.

”Well, the company will suffer sooner or later if it goes on like this.”

Still sitting on the stool, Xu Bo with a gloomy expression sighed deeply.

To be honest, this is not the first time he suggested that the company increase investment in scientific research, but he is just a wage earner, and he really can’t influence the company’s will.

”Hey, I hope foreign companies will pay attention to the Chinese market later. If those foreign companies increase their investment, I’m afraid my Bodao mobile phone company will be in danger.”

Now the Boshima Mobile phone company has fallen into blind optimism, especially after the Boshima Mobile phone company completely defeated Motorola this year and successfully became the annual sales champion in China.

The entire wave island company fell into a state of expansion in the boiling!

This is a kind of arrogance that does not take any company in the country, including foreign companies, into the eyes!

Under such circumstances, Bodao Company started crazy acquisitions and crazy expansion, without seeing that it was falling into a crisis.

At this time, Xu Bo didn’t know that later generations had proved Xu Bo’s concerns to be correct.

In 2005, Bodao Company fell into a huge loss, which reached a terrifying amount of more than 500 million yuan!

This is close to the two-year advertising investment of Bodao Company. It can be said that this loss has completely ruined Bodao Company.

Boshima Company will collapse in a few years later. It can be said that it has a lot to do with the blind optimism after defeating Motorola this year and the subsequent radical expansion with a loss of more than 500 million yuan!

”The enemy of Po Island is not outside, but inside.”

Xu Bo looked at the empty meeting room, and he sighed deeply.

At this time, he seems to have experienced the distress of the Chongzhen Emperor. On the one hand, the foreign enemies gradually became stronger and more unscrupulous, and on the other hand, the domestic refugees rebelled everywhere.

Finally, when Emperor Chongzhen hanged himself, he realized that the real enemy was in the court!

…

”General manager.”

There was a knock on the door of Lin Xuan’s office.

”Come in.”

Lin Xuan, who was checking and approving the company’s business and reports, raised his head and said something.

”Secretary Chen, what’s the matter?”

Seeing that Secretary Chen was holding something in his hand, Lin Xuan asked curiously.

”General manager, this is an invitation letter for an ”industry summit” sent by Shanghai Stock Exchange.”

Chen He Secretary Chen put an invitation letter in front of Lin Xuan.

”Invitation letter for the industry summit, and it is still listed in Shanghai?”

Lin Xuan said something in surprise.

Lin Xuan recalled that there is indeed such an industry summit in Daxia, and this industry summit can attract a certain amount of attention in the Internet era of later generations.

Why does it attract people’s attention?

Because this kind of industry summit often reveals the proposals for the next development strategy of many countries, as well as the progress performance reports, product launches, and their goals of various technology companies.

Industry Summit can be said to be a comprehensive event for ordinary people and even company bosses to understand the current market conditions, understand the trends of major companies, understand the current level of technological development and discover business opportunities, etc.!

When such an industry summit is held every year, it must be the focus of the news media.

Any action or news made here will take advantage of the state of focus of the news media to instantly make the event famous all over the country and even the world.

Today, I am happy because of two good things, and I will explode 8,000 words in the fourth update to repay the kindness of the readers!

And what is this happy thing? The first happy thing is that this book has obtained a monthly pass for the second time. I would like to thank the early birds who eat the worms to eat 66 two monthly tickets for brothers and brothers. The recommendation ticket has raised the ranking of this book to the 40th place in the signing list, and the 55th place in the total list of new science fiction books. This is something to be happy about, so it’s time to explode!

And the second happy thing is that this book has received two recommendations. They are the popular categories of web pages on the computer side and the popular serialization on the mobile APP side.

I got two recommendations in less than 50,000 words, and one of them was an APP recommendation that made countless writers covetous. This really made me excited.

Thank you readers for your support. Without your support, there would be no good data, and it would be impossible for this book to be recommended, so thank you for everything!
