Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2281: Chapter 2275: Fair-Weather Friends Are Unreliable

Drinking buddies are great for eating, drinking, and having fun, but when it comes to real issues, they’re useless. In fact, every time we eat and play, they’re around, but when something happens and you need them, they seem to disappear.

So that’s why drinking buddies are not reliable; they’re just for having fun with during regular times, but not much help when you truly need them.

”Okay, I got it. Sis, is she older or am I?” Qin Jiale asked Qin Xue, thinking it would be good to know the approximate ages.

”She’s older. She’s twenty, you’re only eighteen.” Qin Xue looked at her sister, wondering what she was up to.

”Oh, I see. No problem, as long as she’s a good person, I can call her older sister then.” Qin Jiale initially thought if she were older, she could be the big sister. Now hearing the opposite was true, she felt a slight tinge of disappointment, but it didn’t matter much to her. If she couldn’t be the older sister, then she’d be the younger one, since they were family anyway.

”I knew you were fixating on this again. Stop always wanting to be the big sister. Sometimes, being the younger one is the happiest thing, you know?” Qin Xue couldn’t understand why her sister wanted to be older; didn’t she realize that being older meant having to think about many things and do many things regardless of the circumstances?

”In our family, I am truly happy. But sis, I want to experience that feeling, that’s why I think this way.” It was this reason why Qin Jiale wanted to do so. Otherwise, she wouldn’t think too much about it. It was something that was more hassle than worth, and she knew that.

”Then just get along well with the kids in the future, and you’ll feel it.” Chun Xue chuckled. With so many kids in the family, wouldn’t she easily experience it with them around?

”That’s true. In the future, I won’t think about it anymore. Anyway, we have so many little ones in our family, and I am the oldest.” Qin Jiale felt that being in charge and giving orders held great satisfaction.

Her feelings were entirely influenced by her sister’s past actions, leaving a fixation on her heart. She believed that being the oldest meant she could do anything she wanted, which was the best part, so she always wanted to be the oldest. That way, everything would be according to her will.

But now her sister had changed for the better, and she felt her sister’s love and care. Even though she still wanted to be the oldest, her fixation was no longer as deep.

Qin Xue didn’t realize that Jiale thought this way, or she would’ve taken it seriously. She hadn’t expected the original behavior to leave her sister with psychological issues. Fortunately, it wasn’t severe, or she would have burst into tears.

But now everything was progressing positively, so she felt at ease because a person’s mental health is the most crucial thing to address. And since her sister was improving, she had no other worries.

Although Qin Xue didn’t know what Qin Jiale was thinking, there seemed to be no major issues with her actions and thoughts. Therefore, Qin Xue didn’t notice her sister’s psychology; otherwise, she wouldn’t have been so calm.

But no matter what, Qin Xue didn’t realize that now they were going to visit the school. Her arrangement allowed Qin Jiale to have a different future, and in the days to come, whenever Qin Jiale spoke of it, she was full of gratitude towards her sister. Without her sister, she wouldn’t be where she was now, so she was grateful for her sister’s goodness.
