Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2279: Chapter 2273: I Wasn’t Wrong

Qin Xue knew her sister was saying this because Ye Li is Ye Xiao’s son, so transferring back to the Imperial Capital would be easier, and Ye Zishu is Ye Xiao’s niece, so transferring would involve both of them. But for others, it’s different; coming here without someone to care for the family makes them uneasy, and they have to live on campus, which makes parents worry when their children are so far away.

”Hmm, let’s wait and see. I don’t even know if it’s possible yet, we’ll talk about it when the time comes.” Qin Jiale nodded after hearing her sister’s words; it’s still too early to talk about these things now, better to wait and see what the situation is like.

”Hmm, eat up, and then we can go have a look together.” Qin Xue placed breakfast in front of her sister.

”Sis, I can do it myself.” Qin Jiale hadn’t helped her sister, so she felt more at ease doing it herself.

”Sit down, I’m almost done here.” Qin Xue didn’t let her help, preferring to do it herself.

”Sis, I think if younger sister wants to help, you can let her do a bit. Otherwise, she’ll become a bookworm, spending every day at home either reading or doing exercises. I’m afraid she’ll turn into a reading fool.” Qin Yu came out and heard the sisters’ conversation, inserting a word.

”That’s a no-go. Study should be done in combination with leisure, not just book learning. Otherwise, it’s not a good habit, but a bad one, and results will be poor too. It’s not good; people get tired and don’t learn anything. That’s the stupidest approach.” Qin Xue straightforwardly hit back at her sister, not wanting her to do that.

Without going out and moving around, staying dazed all day, how can one memorize what’s learned? It’s impossible to learn well, so study must be combined with leisure.

”Sis, you’re really blunt. If I were that fragile, I definitely wouldn’t want to talk to you anymore.” Qin Jiale looked at her sister, wondering if she had to be so harsh. After all, she’s her sister.

”I’m not wrong. When you were home before, you weren’t like this. How come after I’ve been away for a while, you’re doing this?” Qin Xue recalled that when she was home, her sister’s methods were all acceptable, but it’s only been a short time, and she seems to have lost track of time.

”I’m just thinking that reading more is good for me. Besides, I’m not like Brother said; I do have activities, and I rest when I’m tired. Don’t listen to his nonsense.” Qin Jiale insisted she’s not a bookworm, she just doesn’t go out to play with the village girls because she thinks it’s a waste of time, better to read more books.

If Qin Xue knew her sister thought that way, she wouldn’t let her do it, because while reading is important, human connections can’t be cut off. Everyone needs friends, and without them, it’s difficult to get by outside; it’s not right.

”Don’t do that in the future. If you come here, during weekends, take some kids along and let them help you relax.” Qin Xue directly arranged future plans for her sister, regardless of whether she agreed or not.

”As long as I have time, it’s fine.” Qin Jiale didn’t mind because she genuinely liked these little nephews, and taking them around is a happy thing.

”Alright, let’s eat, and talk later.” Seeing everyone gathered, Qin Xue invited them to pick up their chopsticks and start eating.

Having more people makes meals more enjoyable; everyone says something, making the meal lively. Consequently, the family eats with big appetite, and quite a lot too. Luckily, Chu Molin prepared plenty, or else it wouldn’t have been enough for them.
