Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2278: Chapter 2272: Is It Possible Not to Transfer Schools?

”Didn’t mom mention that they were going to S Province? You’ll be the only one left at home, and they’re worried. So, they want to transfer you over there. Since that’s the case, why not just come here instead? Xiao Yu and I are both here. If you come, we can look after each other, and that way, mom and dad won’t have to worry, right?” Qin Xue had heard her brother mention this issue, so she began to think of solutions while talking.

”I honestly didn’t know. They never told me. I just knew mom and dad were going there to manage a store.” Qin Jiale genuinely didn’t know about this, or else she wouldn’t have remained so calm.

They had agreed to study together and to apply for colleges in the Imperial Capital. If she were transferred out, wouldn’t she be breaking her promise?

”It’s okay. It’s not too late to find out now. We can ask about it later and see if it’s even possible.” Qin Xue comforted her sister. This matter wasn’t up to her, so whether it would work out depended on the circumstances.

”Sister, can I choose not to transfer?” Qin Jiale didn’t want to be someone who goes back on her word.

”Why?” Qin Xue didn’t understand why.

”I promised them that we would...” Qin Jiale told her sister about what they had agreed on.

”Oh, I thought it was something big. Even if that’s the case, transferring schools isn’t a big problem. Think about it, you’re coming to the Imperial Capital, but you’re still a high school student. You need to pass exams to get into the schools here.” Qin Xue explained to her sister.

”Even if you come here first, they can still come too, right? Besides, once you come here, shouldn’t they work even harder to catch up with you? That way, you’ll be their role model, and it’ll motivate them to study even harder.” Qin Xue didn’t believe that transferring schools was equivalent to breaking a promise.

On the contrary, in Qin Xue’s heart, she felt this should be something they strive to surpass.

Because it’s only with goals that people work harder, right? And everyone wants to do better in such situations.

”What you said makes sense, but if that’s the case, won’t I be alone here? They’ll all stay where they are and keep studying.” Qin Jiale began to understand, but another issue puzzled her.

”Don’t think like that. Consider this: can’t Shushu and Ye Li transfer here too? And your other classmates, if their families agree, they can come with you. It’s just that the transfer fees here are a bit high.” Qin Xue didn’t want her sister to stay in that small place. Only by seeing more of the world can she broaden her horizons and understand more. So if Qin Xue could have her sister come, she definitely wanted her to come.

”That seems true, but apart from Shushu and Ye Li, I don’t think the others will come.” Qin Jiale hadn’t been to their homes, but she knew what their situations were like. For such families, coming to the Imperial Capital wasn’t easy.

”That’s fine, too. Just cherish your feelings for them in your heart, and write them letters when you have time. That way, your bond won’t change, will it?” Qin Xue didn’t believe in the saying that all good things must come to an end.

It’s through these growth experiences that one matures and becomes sensible. That’s an essential aspect of everyone’s path to growth, and they can only hope that everyone can fulfill their wishes.
