Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2250: Chapter 2244: Auntie Cleans the House

It’s just that Ye Li isn’t her. What Ye Zishu can understand, Ye Li might not. No wonder mother would want her to keep an eye on Ye Li more. If she were in such a household, she wouldn’t know how to face it either.

Forget it, she still didn’t want to think too much about it. As long as the lock in this house hadn’t been changed, Ye Zishu knew Uncle and them wanted Ye Li to come back more often.

But should they go find Uncle and them now? This was what Ye Zishu was unsure about.

”Ye Li, should we go find Uncle?” Ye Zishu still voiced her doubts.

”No need, Auntie comes to clean, so it’s tidy. Look around and pick whichever room you’d like to stay in. I’ll first put my things away, then we’ll go out to eat.” Ye Li didn’t want to go look for them. Who knows how busy they might be. If he went and disturbed them, it would be his fault, so under no circumstances should he go.

”Alright then, let’s go out to eat and buy some groceries. Tonight, I’ll cook for you. Although my skills aren’t as good as Jiale’s, I can at least cook it without giving you a stomach ache.” Ye Zishu learned cooking from Qin Jiale. She wasn’t able to do it before, but after learning, she’s still not that proficient. However, there’s no problem with cooking something edible, otherwise, she wouldn’t boast about it.

”Are you sure? I’m really afraid you’ll poison me.” Ye Li couldn’t believe it. Although she’d made some sweet rice before, he had never tasted Ye Zishu’s cooking, so upon hearing her say she would cook, his first reaction was to refuse.

”Stop looking down on me. If you don’t believe in me, you at least believe in Jiale, right? Her cooking is delicious. Even if mine is worse, it shouldn’t be bad enough to kill you.” Ye Zishu was disheartened, feeling chilly inside. It was such a blow. Why did she even offer to cook? It’d be better if he ate out every meal.

”Of course, I trust her. The one I don’t trust is you, understand?” Ye Li had eaten Qin Jiale’s cooking. If he couldn’t trust skills like that, then who could he trust?

”Ye Li, you can’t be this biased. You know this kind of attitude won’t attract any girlfriends, right? You’re so sharp-tongued, what woman could bear you in the future?” Ye Zishu picked her luggage and followed Ye Li up the stairs.

”Don’t worry about me. Just take care of yourself. I heard all your dorm mates are aiming for the Imperial Capital. Don’t be the only one left behind and become embarrassed.” Ye Li didn’t care what Ye Zishu thought. Regardless, she had to make it to the Imperial Capital, or else he wouldn’t have a chance to carry out his plans.

”Ye Li, why does it seem like you can’t stand seeing me do well? After all, I am your sister, right? Do you really have to be so harsh? If I don’t pass, I’ll definitely beat you up, so you know the consequences of treating me this way.” Ye Zishu angrily clenched her fist and waved it in front of Ye Li.

”Whether you beat me or not doesn’t matter, but if you don’t pass, I’ll definitely beat you first. Now stop wasting time, put your stuff away, and let’s go eat. Aren’t you hungry?” Ye Li’s stomach had been growling in protest for a while now. This girl still had the energy to argue with him. Was he the only one who needed to grow and consume more energy?
