I'm Not Afraid of My Wife Being 30 Years Old, I'm Afraid of Her Knowing Everything

57: I will never mistreat my womanSeeing Jiang Hao bring up shopping, Wen Jiajia pondered for a few seconds before saying to Xiao Mi, ”Sister, I have something very important to do today, so I won’t be able to go shopping with you. Don’t be angry, okay? I’ll accompany you for a proper shopping trip in a few days.”

Seeing that Wen Jiajia suddenly decided not to go shopping, Xiao Mi frowned, ”Ah, Jiajia, didn’t you say you had nothing to do these past two days? We agreed to go to the mall to try on clothes today. Are you trying to trick me?”

Jiang Hao was also curious why Wen Jiajia suddenly changed her mind about going shopping.

But he didn’t ask.

Whether she went shopping or not didn’t have much of an impact on him.

In fact, Jiang Hao hoped that Xiao Mi wouldn’t go shopping either.

For a man, shopping was a form of torture.

Spending money was a small matter.

The main thing was that it was exhausting, and especially dull and boring.

Few men liked shopping.

Wen Jiajia didn’t hide it from Xiao Mi and explained her reason, ”There wasn’t anything going on, but just now Jiang Hao suggested opening a Media Company and asked me to contact people to assemble a startup team. This is a top-priority matter for me; I can’t delay it.”

Wen Jiajia gently patted Xiao Mi’s shoulder and said apologetically, ”Don’t be angry, Sister. After this is settled, I’ll accompany you for a proper shopping trip. Whatever you want to buy, I’ll buy it for you. Pick any outfit under a thousand yuan. You just keep Jiang Hao company today; I won’t be a third wheel.”

This reason from Wen Jiajia truly surprised Jiang Hao.

”I really couldn’t tell, but Wen Jiajia is a woman of action. When she encounters real work, she does it immediately without any hesitation. This personality makes her someone who gets things done. Perhaps she’ll be very useful in the future.”

Jiang Hao could understand Wen Jiajia’s thoughts and feelings.

Who would want to miss an opportunity to make big money?

Jiang Hao looked at Wen Jiajia and smiled, ”Sister Jiajia, there’s no need to be too anxious about this. It’s fine to take your time later when you have the time.”

Wen Jiajia shook her head, ”Jiang Hao, you don’t understand the pain of us working-class people trying to make money. If there’s a suitable opportunity that can change my destiny, I will absolutely not miss it. This matter of yours concerns the happiness of the rest of my life, how could I not be anxious?”

Xiao Mi, who was originally dissatisfied because Wen Jiajia wasn’t going shopping with her, heard this and quickly said, ”Jiajia, how about I go with you? I want to contribute to this too. I can’t just let you do all the work alone, right?”

Once Xiao Mi said this, both Wen Jiajia and Jiang Hao were surprised.

Wen Jiajia looked at Xiao Mi in disbelief, ”Mi Mi, Jiang Hao rarely comes over. You should spend time with him. It’s fine, I can manage.”

Hearing this, Xiao Mi nodded, ”That’s true. Jiang Hao rarely comes over, I should spend time with him. It’s just this matter, sigh!”

Jiang Hao didn’t want to go shopping in the first place.

Moreover, he planned to go to a place he had wanted to visit for a while—a bar!

There weren’t any good bars in the suburbs, so going there was pointless.

Now, this location wasn’t far from the downtown area.

There were several very nice bars nearby.

Since he was already here, he had to check them out.

Men go to bars to pick up girls, surely.

It would be boring to take Xiao Mi and Wen Jiajia, these two women, there.

Since Xiao Mi said she wanted to accompany Wen Jiajia, that was great; it was the perfect excuse to send these two away.

However, Jiang Hao didn’t directly say he wouldn’t let Xiao Mi accompany him.

”Sister Mi, Sister Jiajia, how about this? We go shopping for clothes in the morning, and after lunch, you two can go take care of your business. It’s only half a day, anyway, no need to rush, right?”

Seeing Jiang Hao say this, Xiao Mi also said to Wen Jiajia, ”Jiajia, Jiang Hao is right. Let’s go shopping in the morning and take care of business in the afternoon. What do you think?”

Since both Jiang Hao and Xiao Mi said so, Wen Jiajia couldn’t refuse and nodded in agreement, ”Alright then. We’ll go shopping in the morning, and I’ll make calls to set up appointments in the afternoon.”

More than ten minutes later, Jiang Hao, Xiao Mi, and Wen Jiajia left by car.

Another ten minutes later, the three of them arrived at Yinxianghui International Mall.

After parking the car, Jiang Hao went to the mall’s navigation map and noted the locations of luxury stores like Chanel.

Afterward, he took Xiao Mi and Wen Jiajia directly up to the second floor of the mall by elevator.

The second floor of the mall was the clothing section.

It had both high-end and mid-range clothing brands.

Wen Jiajia pointed to the ”Very Modern” store not far away and said to Xiao Mi, ”Mi Mi, let’s go into Very Modern first and see if there are any suitable summer clothes.”

Xiao Mi nodded, ”Alright, let’s go check out Very Modern first.”

”Very Modern” was a brand Jiang Hao knew about.

It was an internationally famous women’s clothing brand.

The prices of the clothes ranged from hundreds to thousands, suitable for urban petit-bourgeois consumption.

However, ”Very Modern” was not Jiang Hao’s destination.

He stopped Xiao Mi and Wen Jiajia, who were about to go browse ”Very Modern,” and said, ”Sister Mi, Sister Jiajia, let’s shop somewhere else.”

Xiao Mi and Wen Jiajia curiously asked Jiang Hao, ”Jiang Hao, where do you want to go shopping? A men’s clothing store?”

Jiang Hao shook his head and pulled Xiao Mi and Wen Jiajia toward the Chanel boutique.

The three of them soon arrived outside the Chanel boutique.

When Xiao Mi and Wen Jiajia saw that it was actually a Chanel boutique, they were instantly shocked.

Wen Jiajia whispered to Jiang Hao, ”Jiang Hao, the clothes in here start at several thousand to tens of thousands. We can’t afford to shop here. Let’s go somewhere else.”

Xiao Mi also nodded, ”Yeah, my monthly salary is only enough to buy one low-priced dress. It’s not worth it. Let’s change to a cheaper store; we can just buy a few things there.”

After saying this, the two of them pulled Jiang Hao and prepared to leave.

Jiang Hao held them back.

He put his arms around Wen Jiajia and Xiao Mi’s shoulders, one on each side, and said to the two, ”Don’t worry, This Jiang will pay for today’s expenses. This Jiang is never stingy with his women. It’s just clothes costing tens of thousands of yuan; I can afford to buy a few sets for you Sisters.”

Jiang Hao’s words clearly had an element of showing off.

However, what he said was also the truth.

Xiao Mi had been slept with by him, so she counted as his woman.

He had also earned millions in cash from her, so buying a few sets of clothes was only right.

Although he hadn’t slept with Wen Jiajia yet, she was already within his reach, and it was only a matter of time before he did.

Buying her a few outfits in advance could be considered a perk for her.

It would also make her more obedient and compliant when posing later—a guaranteed win.

Hearing Jiang Hao’s words, Xiao Mi felt a warmth in her heart, ”Jiang Hao is so good. Being so proactive last night was worth it.”

Wen Jiajia was also conquered by Jiang Hao’s generosity at this moment, ”This little man is so manly. I’m truly moved...”

Just then, a nice-looking shop assistant in a uniform walked over and said respectfully to the three of them, ”Welcome, ladies and sir, to the Chanel Yinxianghui International Mall store. Is there anything I can help you with?”
