Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 667: Shooting Range Club

The current behavior of Zhao Kai wasnʼt uncommon, considering he had dealt with many in the past timeline.

It wasnʼt that they were being stubborn or prideful, but rather their determination. A determination that wanted to prove their worth and that they are capable of their own.

They knew their shortcomings and sometimes, even their limitations.

However, that didnʼt mean they would succumb to it and accept their fate.

Instead, they strived to overcome it. Because anyone who managed to overcome it, would definitely embark on the path of success.

ʼIt appears that Iʼve been giving Kai too much pressure.ʼ Xu Feng realized his guidance had in fact harmed Zhao Kai.

Although he tried to keep his guidance and assistance at a bare minimum, it was evident that his so-called bare minimum had long surpassed the limit.

”Sorry, Feng, I didnʼt mean to lash out at you.” Having calmed down a bit, Zhao Kai was regretting his action.

”I—”

Just when he was about to continue, Xu Feng stopped him.

”Thereʼs no need to apologize.” Xu Feng smiled lightly. ”I know you wanted to be of help without needing to be guided every time. You wanted to be useful. It was my fault to try to overstep that boundary.”

”No, itʼs my fault.”

”Alright, thatʼs enough of the pep talk. We ainʼt playing some soap opera drama.”

After halting Zhao Kai from going the emotional route of apologizing, the two decided that they would move on from this topic.

”Anyway, shall we resume our next plan?” Xu Feng clasped his hands and asked.

”Eh, what other plans do we have aside from clubbing?” Zhao Kai became dumbfounded. He acted like he knew what was going on, but the truth was, he didnʼt know anything.

”You didnʼt forget it just now because you were busy playing the emotional act, right?” Xu Feng smiled bitterly and explained. ”The shooting range. Rest assured, thereʼs no scheme behind it this time.”

”As if Iʼd believe you!” Zhao Kai rolled his eyes in disbelief. By now, if he still hadnʼt figured out Xu Fengʼs new antics, then he might as well be called a fake friend.

Nevertheless, he was indeed looking forward to being at the shooting range. He had too much stress and frustration within him. To be able to shoot in the shooting range would definitely relieve him.

After all, the shooting in the real world would definitely feel different than the Divine World which had optimized his body to the best condition.

Sometime later, the two arrived at a prestigious shooting range club.

Initially, the manager of the shooting range club was flashing a disdain expression, clearly unable to understand why two youngsters showed up.

However, as soon as Zhao Kai flexed his status and the manager had to verify the news, their expression quickly changed 180 degrees.

”Young Master Kai, over here is the shooting target. We have a wide selection of firearms and even personal trainers if you wish to have some assistance.” The manager smiled amiable and explained the facility.

Naturally, when the manager brought up the word personal trainers. They didnʼt mean some ordinary professional kind you find in other facilities.

Rather, they were all professional women who had the appearance capable of contesting with other celebrities.

This was the world of the rich. And only the rich could ever enjoy such privilege.

”Hmm, are they good shooters?” Zhao Kai questioned.

”Of course, they were all verified and underwent strict tests.” The manager vowed solemnly and even showed the list of trainers on their tablet. ”Rest assured, they are all trainers who willingly do this job. We never forced them or anything.”

When the manager had to emphasize that everyone was willing, it goes to show how there were many shady places.

”Heh, you can rest assured that Iʼm not trying to accuse you of anything.” Zhao Kai smirked, and knew if that was the case, then Xu Feng wouldnʼt have brought him to this shooting range club.

While Zhao Kai glanced at the list of trainers, he realized why this club was so prestigious among the high society.

Who wouldnʼt want to be accompanied by not only beautiful women but also capable of teaching them how to improve?

ʼDamn, just how much are these trainers getting paid?ʼ He wondered silently. If the trainers on the list were all true to their achievement, then any one of them could easily earn big elsewhere. Yet they remained here in the club.

Suddenly, Xu Feng raised his voice and asked, ”Manager, is this person available?”

”Oh? Let me see.” Dumbfounded, the Manager nearly forgot about him and rushed over to check. Given that Zhao Kai introduced himself and Xu Feng kept quiet, the manager didnʼt think he was of importance. Nevertheless, that didnʼt mean he could act rudely toward Zhao Kaiʼs friend.

Sure enough, when the manager glanced at the person Xu Feng asked, their expression turned awkward and weird.

ʼWhat the hell? He canʼt be… gay, right?ʼ The manager swallowed a mouthful of saliva nervously, even subconsciously taking a few steps back.

Additionally, he also sneaked a glance at Zhao Kai, who seemed immersed in the trainersʼ list.

Based on his years of expertise, the manager knew Zhao Kai was into women from the gaze he used while browsing. Thus, he could confirm Zhao Kai was straight, but what about his friend?

His friend was extremely difficult to read, and the mere fact that he glanced at the trainersʼ list catered to female customers. It more or less made the manager think the other way.

Trying to keep his composure, the manager nodded and answered. ”Yes, Trainer Liu Shan is available. Do you wish to have him as your personal trainer?”

Xu Feng pondered for a moment. ”I can choose more than one personal trainer, right?”

”More than one?” The managerʼs eyes widened in shock, completely petrified by the request. Keep in mind that he had no prejudice toward gays, but when he heard that Xu Feng wanted more than one, it was hard to not imagine the scene.

”Argh!” Unable to compose himself, the manager was forced to rush toward the nearby trash bin and vomited.
