Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 663: Public Relationship (PR)

A few minutes had gone by since news of the cancellation was announced.

The original active club filled with an abundance of people quickly dwindled fast.

The worst part of it was that even the DJ stopped providing music, making a lively and vibrant environment into a somewhat deadly silent room.

”Geez, is this how the rich behave?” Zhao Kai clicked his tongue in frustration. ”What kind of clubbing doesnʼt provide DJ music just because the owner cancels an event?”

”Well, the kind that you see right now. Petty and shortsighted.” Xu Feng commented.

”Ahem,” Zhang Jingyi quickly coughed and tried to signal to him with her eyes that there were still employees nearby.

Naturally, Xu Feng understood her meaning: beware of what you said.

However, there was no need to be cautious or polite to someone who would soon come to him, begging. Not to mention, her pettiness in ruining his mood was definitely next level.

It wasnʼt like he was going to dine and dash. He was still a customer even if the negotiation broke down.

”Are you coughing because the alcohol is not up to taste?” Xu Feng feigned a worried expression. ”Ah, I see. The cancellation is because the alcohol is low quality so they needed to shut down fast to salvage their image.”

Right after saying that, Xu Feng poured the alcohol down on the table and placed the cup upside down, indicating his disapproval.

His action was easily caught by the employees, and their expressions turned livid.

Such an action was no different than a provocation to the maximum height.

Meanwhile, Zhang Jingyi was rendered speechless completely. Was there a need to go that far?

However, never did she expect that side of Xu Fengʼs craziness, there was another person that matched his.

”Youʼre right, Feng. These alcohols really are trash but I kept quiet because I get to rehydrate to converse with the women.” Zhao Kai sneered and followed Xu Fengʼs action. He poured his drink down on the table, not bothered by the mess it created, and slammed the cup upside down.

”Now that I have no women to converse with. I donʼt need to hydrate myself with low-grade alcohol.” He then exclaimed loudly.

”You two…” Zhang Jingyi facepalmed and began to regret why she didnʼt leave with her brother.

Though her regret had only intensified when Xu Feng suddenly dropped a bomb-like statement. ”Wow, Kai, you just said thereʼs no women to converse with. Then what gender is Zhang Jingyi?”

Zhang Jingyi: …

Zhao Kai: …

Zhao Kai held the look of being betrayed, his eyes gazing at Xu Feng, seemingly asking why he did it with his eyes alone.

As for Zhang Jingyi, she wasnʼt angry with Zhao Kai because she knew he didnʼt mean it like that. Instead, she was glaring at Xu Feng for the uncalled statement.

She wanted to say something, but in the end, she merely sighed and shook her head. Clearly, it was a playful banter, so if she were to lash out, then it would only make herself look bad.

”Whatever, letʼs move on.” Zhang Jingyi clasped her hands and decided to move on. ”Since you failed to get the sponsor, then how about letting our Zhang Electronics sponsor you?”

Zhao Kai had his mouth turned into an ”O” shape when he heard her suggestion.

ʼZhang Electronics eh. Theyʼre quite big in that industry.ʼ He thought it wasnʼt a bad choice to go for it. Of course, Zhao Kai wanted to use Zhao Enterpriseʼs subsidiary to sponsor the guild more, but then the interests would clash.

Since he was directly involved with the Zhao Enterprise now, it wouldnʼt be considered a sponsor, but a self-investment. And if so, then Xu Feng wouldnʼt have bothered to attempt a negotiation with Janet.

As all eyes were on Xu Feng, he simply remained nonchalant and gave a flat response.

”No.” He commented.

”Why?” Startled, Zhang Jingyi couldnʼt understand the rejection.

Even Zhao Kai was a bit stunned by the cold rejection. However, he soon understood the reason once Xu Feng explained the correlation.

”Youʼre the little sister of Zhang Tie Quan, who is Herald Fist in the Divine World. Heʼs the guild leader of Tyrant Fist, so receiving your sponsor means an alliance in the general sense.”

”But Iʼm the owner of Zhang Electronic. My brother has nothing to do with it.” Zhang Jingyi argued.

”It doesnʼt matter if youʼre the owner or not.” Xu Feng shook his head. ”In the general public, you are still part of the Zhangʼs Group. Subsidiary, separate entity or whatnot is just a ploy rich people use to avoid heavy taxes.”

”Right, this is what my sister told me about in the past. Public Relationship!” Zhao Kai suddenly chimed in, having understood it was the PR works.

Although in legal terms, Zhang Electronic was its own entity, in the eyes of the public, the word Zhang was already a synonym for any businesses related to the Zhangʼs Group.

Thus, no matter how hard Zhang Jingyi tried to argue her business was managed by her, everyone would only care about what was behind her.

This was also a major problem for all heirs who wished to explore on their own to establish their business or network. The heirs could have definitely worked hard for their success, but to those unaware, all they believed was that these heirs merely succeeded due to their background.

It was a sad reality, but that was just the cold hard truth.

The poor would never believe the rich generation people to be capable of their own out of jealousy and envy.

”You really are a difficult man to understand.” Zhang Jingyi smiled bitterly.

As much as she wanted to say that she had faith in her guild and wanted to sponsor out of her will, Xu Feng would never believe her.

ʼThe Vanguard Guild is currently being besieged so if I sponsor now, heʼs definitely thinking that I want to annex it.ʼ Zhang Jingyi never thought the first time she suggested sponsoring someone, she would get rejected in less than 3 seconds.
