Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 591: Guild’s Issues

When Xu Feng heard Carmenʼʼs sarcastic question, he was truly taken aback slightly.

After all, wasnʼt it usually a common case of the guild being troubled by something or someone during the sudden absence of the Guild Leader?

Even in the past timeline, when he was still in the higher-up position, the Reaver Guild would face numerous problems once he took a break or was on sick leave due to overworking.

”Shadow Blade reported to me that the guild was in a mess. Was that not true?” Xu Feng raised an eyebrow and brought up Zhao Kaiʼs report.

Throughout the time he was hospitalized, Zhao Kai would occasionally visit him when he had the opportunity and relayed how the Vanguard Guild wasnʼt in a good position.

This was especially true with players and guilds who participated in the large-scale raid constantly asking when the auction would begin and whether the Vanguard Guild was going back on its word.

Some actually even went as far as accusing the Raid Points meant nothing and that it was all just a scam to get them to work hard.

”I think you got trolled by Shadow Blade.” Carmen smiled teasingly and said. ”Yes, those problems indeed existed, but Guild Leader… You shouldnʼt have such low expectations of me and other people that you recruited. If we canʼt even resolve such issues when youʼre not here, then what was the point of us being a part of the guild?”

”How did you resolve it?” Xu Feng inquired softly. ”Thereʼs no way those two starving guilds would just back off.”

This kind of problem wasnʼt easy to resolve and required a lot of meticulous work.

Controlling and managing public opinion was one thing, but halting other nefarious peopleʼs schemes directed at Vanguard Guild was another story.

”Are you referring to Heavenʼs Destiny and MIST guilds?” Carmen chuckled at the mention of them. ”Iʼve heard from Shadow Blade that these two have the guts to still prey on us despite what we did to the Lethal Corp, so I gave them a little visit.”

”A visit?” Startled, Xu Feng naturally refused to believe her visit was anything but friendly.

Sure enough, Carmen held a prideful expression as she continued, ”Yup, Iʼve gone ahead to their city and openly massacred their guild members in the neutral zone. I see one, I kill one. I see two, I kill two. All the way until their higher-ups finally had enough and begged for a meeting with me.”

Such an incident would naturally cause a storm within the Game Forum, but because Xu Feng had just logged in and was instantly called by Carmen.

There was just no opportunity for him to browse through the Game Forum to learn of this news.

”So you went to both those guildʼs territories and wreaked havoc?” Amused, Xu Feng didnʼt expect Carmen to actually pull such a stunt.

Yet to his astonishment, Carmen went above and beyond.

”No, Guild Leader. I simply flipped a coin and if itʼs head, I go to Greendale City, and if itʼs tail, then I go to Skyland City. And the coin landed on tail, so I went ahead to Skyland City to give MIST a piece of my mind.” Carmen raised her chin, feeling quite proud of her action.

And she continued, ”After my havoc-wreaking, MIST pleaded for mercy since they canʼt do crap to me. With that as an example, Heavenʼs Destiny from Greendale City quickly sent their regards to us and said they wish to be eligible for the upcoming auction. I made sure to bleed them hard for the ticket.”

Kill the chicken to warn the rest!

What Carmen did was precisely that statement and gave a fierce warning to anyone who still had any intention of targeting Vanguard Guild!

Want to mess with the Vanguard Guild behind the scenes or in front?

Sure, can you resist the onslaught from Carmen?

At this current stage, most players were already striving or achieved their Tier 1 advancement, but the difference between them was Carmenʼs Tier Advancement was vastly superior.

Those players advanced in their ordinary classes, with some lucky few being another one but not that great. The concept of advancing in tier was known and established to everyone who played in past VRMMORPGs.

However, they failed to realize that the special Hidden Classes in the Divine World werenʼt just better than ordinary ones by a tiny bit.

Instead, it was extremely large in difference of strength and power.

The fact that Carmen held the nickname Demoness in his past timeline wasnʼt for show or some fame. She was a one-person army who could nuke ten thousand players in one spell.

Sounds exaggerated?

Well, that was exactly what happened and from then on, no one dared to provoke her and avoided her like a plague. After all, Carmen didnʼt even go after what the guilds wanted, so who would want to provoke her for no reason?

Anyone in the guild who was found offending Carmen due to their own fault was immediately kicked out. The only exception was if the member had some connection with the higher-ups, but even then, their situation wasnʼt that ideal in the future.

And Xu Feng was part of those frightened higher-ups, who kicked the troublemakers out without hesitation.

How ironic was it that such a lethal player was now under his guild!

”Since those two guildʼs issues are temporarily resolved, then what about the other issues?” Xu Feng inquired softly, his smile widening. Without a doubt, he was overwhelmingly pleased and satisfied that the guild continued to function properly despite his absence.

”If youʼre talking about the issues of players trying to throw dirt at us, Iʼve also dealt with them swiftly.” Carmen clasped her hands and reported.

”Those players tried to go anonymous mode, so I told OneManMedia to do a stream where I asked them if they knew who they were. Sure enough, I have a lot of fans— loyal ones who easily betrayed their friends and exposed them.”
