Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 560: Restructure

Shortly after Xu Fengʼs declaration, Clara quickly called for guards to apprehend Thunder Sword and dragged him away.

Of course, Thunder Sword tried to resist and even cursed Xu Feng for going too far.

”I wonʼt forgive you for this! Iʼll have my cousin get revenge for me!” Thunder Sword roared, much to the relief and bliss of many new players who had been oppressed or disgusted by him.

With Thunder Sword dragged away, his other companions were stunned on the spot. It wasnʼt that they didnʼt want to escape, but they could sense Clara was staring right at them.

”What about these three people?” Clara then asked Xu Feng. Normally, she would detain them immediately, but with Xu Feng here, she wished to seek his approval and suggestion.

This wasnʼt bootlicking at all, but rather her deep respect for him.

”Just do what you will normally do.” Xu Feng smiled lightly and responded, not trying to supersede her authority.

After all, he knew there was a limit to how much Clara could do for him. Detaining Thunder Sword for a week was already pushing the limit, and he did not wish to get Clara in trouble.

Xu Feng might be a Baron, but in the beginner town, the Town Mayor still holds the most authority. If he trespassed that line of authority, then he might cause the Town Mayor to be displeased with him.

”Okay, as the companions of the culprit, but counting the fact that they had not done any action yet. They shall be detained for 3 days as accomplices.” Clara exclaimed and signaled for the guards to take action.

Being apprehended by the guards, the three players didnʼt utter anything and simply complied with the decision. Without a doubt, these three seemed to have an understanding, especially how the onlookers were laughing at Thunder Sword for kicking an iron plate.

If they still hadnʼt realized by now that Xu Feng was probably someone extraordinary, then they might as well delete their character and create a new one altogether. At least that way, they could have a new identity and be safe from any repercussions.

Of course, this was only possible for them because their character level wasnʼt that high yet. Otherwise, such a decision would be extremely difficult to make. Just imagine being level 100 plus and then being forced to delete and start from scratch.

Who would want to waste their time redoing all the grinding?

As the troublemakers were swiftly dealt with, the crowd who still wanted to stay to see what would happen next, Xu Feng didnʼt disappoint them. It was just right to use this nosy crowd to his advantage.

He turned around and faced the crowd.

”Everyone, listen up. Iʼm Cool Wind, an honorary elder of the Vanguard Guild, tasked by Guild Leader Lin Feng to investigate those who had been using the name of Vanguard Guild for wrongdoings. Our Vanguard Guild does not condone any bullying of innocent people, especially those who claim to have special relationships with the guild or guild members!” He declared loudly.

The crowd was soon taken aback by Xu Fengʼs declaration. This was especially true to those who had been wondering what his identity was to outright ignore the blatant threat from Thunder Sword.

”An honorary elder… no wonder he didnʼt care about Thunder Sword!”

”Hah, that Thunder Sword really knows how to pick a fight. He wants his cousin to go against the higher rank.”

”So the Vanguard Guild sent an honorary elder to investigate the bullying. I knew the guild wasnʼt some tyrant like the Reaver Guild. Itʼs just those rotten apples causing trouble and smearing the guildʼs name.”

Very quickly, the public opinion was starting to shift from negative to neutral, with some even looking at the Vanguard Guild in a positive outlook.

This was simply the reality of humanʼs nature. Just a little bit of sweet or something done for them and their perspective of you could easily be altered.

As the commotion continued to intensify among the crowd, Xu Feng cleared his throat and asked them to kindly check the Game Forum.

Sure enough, when the crowd opened the Game Forum, they were dumbfounded by the Vanguard Guildʼs official post, addressing the incidents of some people using their names to oppress others.

In addition to that, it was stated that Lightning Blade was partially responsible for allowing his cousin to run amok.

For his punishment, Lightning Blade was effectively demoted back to Junior Member Rank, as well as having his Raid Points contribution to the large-scale raid, stripped.

When the crowd read the announcement, they were stunned on the spot.

Even Allison was somewhat baffled that Xu Feng had the power and authority to control the Vanguard Guildʼs operation.

ʼHe can outright have an official guild post made on the spot?ʼ Allison was inwardly shocked but remained stoic on the surface.

”Okay, everyone can disperse. This is the decision of Guild Leader Lin Feng, and we have made a new report claim feature for players to file if they have been bullied by any of the members, along with evidence. But keep in mind that false reporting and our Vanguard Guild would gladly respond in kind to them.” Xu Feng clasped his hands and announced.

With the announcement made, the restructure of the Vanguard Guild officially began.

Like a chain of dominos falling, almost every spy and intelligence worker received news about the Vanguard Guildʼs post.

And the person who was specifically listed in the post nearly had a meltdown.

”Whatʼs wrong with you, Blade?” Skyfire Mist, one of the large-scale raid participants, asked his friend in confusion.

”Why did you suddenly stop attacking?” He continued, deflecting a monster away from them.

Still in a daze, Lightning Blade didnʼt move, almost as if he had been inflicted with a stun.

Meanwhile, FreeLancer was confused by the sudden drop in DPS. He hurriedly swung his lance toward the monster, sending it a few distance away, and turned to Lightning Blade.

”Blade, what are you doing? We need you to attack the monster!”

Being shouted by two people, Lightning Blade finally snapped out of his daze and glanced at them with a lifeless expression.

”I-I got demoted…” He said with a bittersweet tone.
