The World's Richest Man: Start with the Daily Intelligence System

197: Chapter 197 An Xiaoxi is missingJust as everyone was laughing heartily, Liu Haorui’s gaze was once again unconsciously drawn to a young woman not far away. She leaned against the railing, her long hair flowing in the wind. Her elegant demeanor and captivating figure made Liu Haorui unable to resist asking Lu Yuhan beside him with curiosity, ’Who is that?’

Lu Yuhan followed his gaze and saw that a young man had already walked over, gently putting his arm around the woman’s shoulders. The two appeared very intimate.

She smiled slightly and said softly, ’Oh, that’s Lin Xiaoqing, the daughter of the chairman of the Fusheng Group. The man next to her is probably her fiancé.’

A flicker of disappointment crossed Liu Haorui’s face. He turned his head and saw An Xiaoxi looking at him with a gossipy expression.

’I’m going to tell Xiao Hua when we get back, the way you looked just now, haha!’ An Xiaoxi teased.

Liu Haorui felt a bit awkward and quickly defended himself, ’I was just looking, I didn’t do anything, right, Old Zhang?’

Zhang Wei, standing nearby, smiled slightly and said, ’Old Liu, take it easy. Be careful or you’ll be kneeling on the washboard when you get back.’

’Alright, what should we do next? The pool is heated, but it’s not noon yet, so swimming might still be a bit cold,’ Lu Yuhan put down her coffee cup and suggested.

’Sister Yuhan, I want to go see their photoshoot. Can you take me?’ An Xiaoxi looked at Lu Yuhan with sparkling eyes, full of anticipation.

’Alright, we don’t have anything else to do anyway. Let’s go take a look. What about you two? Do you want to come with us?’ Lu Yuhan looked around at Zhang Wei and Liu Haorui.

’Sorry, I won’t be going. I have a massage appointment,’ Zhang Wei stood up, intending to return to the guest room.

’Old Zhang, since when? Aren’t we good brothers anymore?’ Liu Haorui complained with a dissatisfied look.

’Haha, stop messing around. You and An Xiaoxi can go look at the beauties. I’m off first,’ Zhang Wei waved his hand and left with a smile.

The remaining three then headed towards the other side of the ship, the Sunny Bay, where the sun was bright and the sea breeze was gentle—a perfect spot for viewing and photographing the seascape.

Sunlight filtered through thin clouds onto the ship’s deck, and the air carried a faint scent of seawater. Amanda, the magazine planner, stood in front of a group of young women, her voice clear and full of passion as she said, ’Girls, today’s photoshoot theme is Goddess of the Sea.’ Her gaze swept over each person, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. ’I look forward to seeing great photos from everyone.’

The photoshoot area was exquisitely arranged. A sea-blue backdrop was dotted with specks of white foam, creating the illusion of being truly immersed in the ocean. The young women, some dressed in light white gauze and others adorned with delicate shell hair accessories, looked like sprites emerging from the sea.

’These sisters are dressed so beautifully!’ An Xiaoxi, still young and at an age where she loved beauty, couldn’t help but exclaim, her eyes shimmering with envy.

Liu Haorui nodded in agreement, his eyes gleaming with barely concealed admiration. ’Yes, yes, they’re truly beautiful, simply captivating. The scenery, the atmosphere—it’s like a fairyland on earth.’

As everyone was talking, Xiang Yuanyuan gracefully walked over. Her appearance instantly attracted many glances. She wore a one-shoulder, high-slit evening gown, the hem swaying gently with her steps, light as ocean waves. She smiled at Lu Yuhan and said, ’Yuhan, you’re here too. What do you think of today’s setup?’

Lu Yuhan smiled and replied, ’It’s wonderful. It really feels like being in the middle of the sea.’

’Wow, Sister Yuanyuan, your dress is so beautiful too!’ An Xiaoxi’s gaze was drawn to Xiang Yuanyuan’s gown, which was as smooth as water, perfectly outlining her graceful figure. Her makeup sparkled brilliantly, like stars in the sky.

Xiang Yuanyuan smiled gently and said, ’Little sister, you’re very pretty too. You’d look just as good in these clothes.’

Praise made An Xiaoxi a bit shy, her cheeks slightly flushed. She lowered her head but couldn’t help looking up at Lu Yuhan, her eyes holding a hint of anticipation. ’Sister Yuhan, do you want to join me? I feel a little shy by myself. I’d feel much more at ease with you by my side.’

Lu Yuhan smiled softly, her eyes gentle as water. ’Then I’ll accompany you.’

The organizers seemed to have anticipated this, quickly bringing over a complete set of matching outfits. An Xiaoxi changed into a pink puffball skirt, the hem light as a cloud, making her look particularly playful and cute. Lu Yuhan chose a light blue gown with a floor-sweeping hem, elegant and graceful. They stood in front of the mirror, looking each other over, both faces lit up with happy smiles.

’Xiao Xi, you look just like a little princess in this outfit,’ Lu Yuhan praised sincerely.

’Sister Yuhan, you’re the real goddess!’ An Xiaoxi replied with a laugh, her eyes full of admiration.

Along the way, they attracted many glances from passersby. Men couldn’t help but look, especially at Lu Yuhan, whose beauty left them speechless with astonishment. Liu Haorui stood to the side, staring intently at Lu Yuhan, murmuring to himself, ’A goddess, truly a goddess.’

The photoshoot concluded smoothly amidst a chorus of admiration. The two cooperated seamlessly, each shot as beautiful as a painting. After the shoot, they prepared to return to their guest rooms to change.

On the way back to the room, An Xiaoxi chattered nonstop like a cheerful little bird. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as her fingers flew across her phone screen, showing off the photos she had just taken.

’Sister Yuhan, look at this photo, it’s so beautiful! And this one, it looks just like a painting,’ An Xiaoxi’s voice was clear and pleasant, carrying a hint of pride.

Lu Yuhan smiled and gently patted her head, saying softly, ’You took great photos too. Our Xiao Xi is so clever and adorable, everyone likes her.’ Her eyes were full of affection and tenderness.

Hearing the praise, An Xiaoxi’s cheeks flushed slightly. She shyly lowered her head, but the corners of her mouth couldn’t help turning upward.

Lu Yuhan noticed that An Xiaoxi’s short skirt seemed a bit thin in the slightly cool weather and said with concern, ’Xiao Xi, your skirt is a bit short. Here, wear this shawl for now.’ With that, she gently untied her light blue shawl and wrapped it tenderly around An Xiaoxi’s shoulders.

The soft texture of the shawl brought a wave of warmth to An Xiaoxi. She looked up at Lu Yuhan gratefully, a warm feeling welling up in her heart.

Just then, Lu Yuhan’s phone suddenly rang. She glanced down at the caller ID—it was her assistant from the City Name calling.

’Xiao Xi, I need to take this call. You go to my room first and change. Here’s the key card,’ Lu Yuhan quickly handed the key card to An Xiaoxi, her tone carrying a hint of apology.

An Xiaoxi nodded. Although she felt a bit reluctant, she knew Sister Yuhan’s work was important. She took the key card, softly said ’Okay,’ and then turned to walk alone toward the guest room.
