The World's Richest Man: Start with the Daily Intelligence System

185: Chapter 185 Infiltrating the ClubAccording to the intelligence Zhang Wei had gathered, Tang Yi was currently still trapped in the Tianlongren Entertainment Club controlled by Brother Tian Tian.

On the surface, this club was a place for leisure and entertainment, but in reality, it was an important stronghold for Brother Tian Tian to conduct secret transactions and hide important people. The place where Tang Yi was being held was heavily guarded, making it impossible for ordinary people to get close.

”It seems I have to go there myself this time,” Zhang Wei muttered to himself.

He quickly tidied up, changed into inconspicuous clothes, put on a hat and sunglasses, and left his residence as discreetly as possible.

During the day, Zhang Wei took a taxi to the club and carefully selected a café with an excellent view to quietly observe the comings and goings at the club.

As night slowly fell, Zhang Wei stood in front of the club, took a deep breath, and stepped through the club’s luxurious entrance.

The club’s doors were wide open, and the lobby was magnificently decorated, with a wave of noisy music and mixed perfume scents rushing to meet him.

Zhang Wei walked in with his hair slicked back, wearing a flashy suit and a dazzling, oversized gold chain around his neck. He wore a frivolous smile on his face, looking exactly like a guest who had come to indulge in pleasure.

He looked around and saw various scantily clad women weaving through the crowd, with laughter and conversation rising and falling around him.

”Welcome, sir!” A waiter in a red uniform approached him enthusiastically. ”What kind of service do you require?”

”Open a private room and call two hostesses,” Zhang Wei said casually, though his eyes remained constantly alert to his surroundings.

The waiter led Zhang Wei to a luxuriously decorated private room. A moment later, two scantily clad hostesses walked in and sat on either side of Zhang Wei, smiling brightly.

”What would you like to drink, sir?” one of the hostesses asked softly, her eyes filled with a touch of allure.

”Open a bottle of red wine,” Zhang Wei smiled slightly, while his mind was calculating his next move.

After a few rounds of drinks, Zhang Wei pretended to be a bit drunk, stood up, and stumbled toward the door.

”Where are you going, sir?” the other hostess asked with concern.

”Just going to the restroom,” Zhang Wei replied vaguely.

After stepping out of the private room, Zhang Wei looked around vigilantly. The hallway was empty, so he quickly ran toward the elevator, following the intelligence provided by the system.

The elevator doors slowly opened. Zhang Wei slipped inside and pressed the button for the basement level. As the elevator descended, his heartbeat accelerated. The intelligence provided by the system indicated that Tang Yi was being held on the basement level.

The elevator doors opened again. Under the dim light, Zhang Wei vaguely saw two figures not far away. He carefully stepped out of the elevator, trying his best not to make a sound.

”Hey, who are you? How did you get down here?” one of the figures looked up and asked vigilantly.

Zhang Wei’s heart tightened, but he quickly calmed down and smiled with feigned drunkenness: ”Buddy, I’m looking for the restroom. I need to take a leak.”

”This is the staff area, get back!” the other person urged in an unfriendly tone.

”Sorry about that, I went the wrong way,” Zhang Wei nodded, turned around, and stepped back into the elevator, secretly rejoicing that he hadn’t been discovered.

The elevator doors opened again, and he returned to the familiar floor. Zhang Wei pretended to be swaying and drunk as he walked down the narrow corridor. Just as he was about to push open the heavy door to the private room, a rush of hurried and chaotic footsteps suddenly came from behind, breaking the surrounding silence.

Zhang Wei’s heart tightened abruptly, as if gripped by an invisible hand. Could his actions just now have been exposed?

He turned around quickly and saw Brother Tian Tian, accompanied by several burly lackeys, walking toward him aggressively. Brother Tian Tian’s eyes were as sharp as a hawk’s, his cold gaze scanning every corner of the corridor. That fierce aura made Zhang Wei hold his breath involuntarily.

Zhang Wei’s heart pounded like a drum; he knew he couldn’t be exposed at this moment. The club’s hallway was dimly lit, but he could still feel those sharp eyes behind him. He quickened his pace, reached for the doorknob, and prayed silently.

”Where did you just go? Turn around!” a voice came from behind, and Zhang Wei’s body instantly stiffened.

Brother Tian Tian’s voice was low and powerful, like a sharp sword piercing straight into Zhang Wei’s heart. Zhang Wei’s hand stopped in mid-air, hesitating whether to continue opening the door. Sweat began to bead on his face, and he cursed his terrible luck.

”I’m talking to you, turn around!” Brother Tian Tian’s voice sounded again, carrying an unquestionable command.

Just then, the door to the private room suddenly opened. A charming hostess poked her head out and said in a coquettish tone: ”Young Master Zhang, we’re still waiting for you to drink.”

The hostess looked up, saw Brother Tian Tian, and immediately put on a sweet smile: ”Brother Tian Tian, you’re here too? Do you want to come and join us?”

Seeing that it was a guest of the club, Brother Tian Tian’s expression relaxed slightly. He glanced at Zhang Wei and then turned and left with his lackeys.

Zhang Wei let out a long sigh of relief, secretly feeling lucky. He gave the hostess a grateful look and walked into the private room.

”Young Master Zhang, are you alright?” the hostess asked with concern.

”I’m fine, thank you for just now,” Zhang Wei said gratefully, casually giving her a large tip.

The hostess took the money and smiled even more brightly: ”Young Master Zhang is really generous. But you should be careful. Brother Tian Tian is the godson of the Great Qi Gang boss and is highly valued. He is also a very suspicious person; those who offend him don’t end up well.”

Zhang Wei nodded, secretly staying vigilant.

”Young Master Zhang, what’s wrong? Are you still worried about what happened just now?” The hostess gently pressed on Zhang Wei’s shoulder, interrupting his thoughts.

Zhang Wei came back to his senses and managed to squeeze out a smile: ”It’s nothing, let’s keep drinking.”

The hostess quickly handed him a glass of wine.

Inside the private room, the music was deafening, and the lights were flickering.

Back at the hotel, Zhang Wei lay on the bed, his mind constantly replaying the night’s experiences. Today was not without gain. At the very least, he had confirmed that Tang Yi was indeed being held on the basement level of the club, and the guards were tight.

”What should I do next?” Zhang Wei muttered to himself.

Tang Yi had been locked in a dim room inside the Tianlongren Entertainment Club for two days. It was quiet all around, with the occasional sound of singing and men and women flirting.

His mouth was gagged, his hands and feet were tied tightly, and he looked completely disheveled. The room was filled with a damp atmosphere mixed with the scent of cheap perfume, making him feel waves of nausea.

He tried hard to recall the process of being captured. That day at the club, taking advantage of Brother Tian Tian being dead drunk, he had caught him off guard and beaten him up severely. He hadn’t expected the other party to be quite capable, managing to catch him so quickly.

With a ”bang,” the door was pushed open. Brother Tian Tian walked in aggressively with a few lackeys. Brother Tian Tian looked arrogant, with a cold sneer at the corner of his mouth and a sinister glint in his eyes.
