The World's Richest Man: Start with the Daily Intelligence System

9: Chapter 9 Trading BitcoinZhang Wei felt the results were good, so he decided to choose this fitness studio.

The two returned to the front desk, and Zhang Wei readily paid a year’s membership fee plus personal training costs, spending over ten thousand in total.

Seeing how decisive Zhang Wei was, the smile on Sun Yicheng’s face became noticeably warmer.

”Let’s add each other on WeChat. If you have any questions when you get back, you can contact me anytime.”

Hearing this, Zhang Wei subconsciously teased, ”Is any kind of question okay?”

”Of course,” the girl replied. Instead of getting angry, she winked at Zhang Wei.

”It seems this girl’s level is quite high,” Zhang Wei thought to himself.

The gym was equipped with showers and locker rooms, but since it was his first time going, Zhang Wei hadn’t brought a change of clothes. He could only wait until he got home to take a hot shower.

”Your friend request to ’Peerless Macho’ has been accepted. You can now chat.”

After scrolling through his phone for a while, he saw that the friend request from yesterday had been approved.

Zhang Wei sent a message: ”Hello, I found you through a friend. Do you accept bitcoin here?”

A reply quickly came from the other side of WeChat: ”Yes, but I’m not the buyer. I only facilitate the transaction. I charge a one percent commission.”

Zhang Wei didn’t know if this commission was reasonable. However, at one percent, based on four hundred thousand, it would only be a little over four thousand yuan, which wasn’t much. So, he agreed.

The person on WeChat added: ”If that’s fine, let’s meet at the Peninsula Coffee Shop on Huamu Road at eight tonight. Remember to bring your bitcoin private key.”

Zhang Wei replied with an OK emoji.

At this moment, in a certain internet cafe in City Name, a young girl was slumped weakly over a keyboard.

”If tonight goes smoothly, this month’s food expenses will be covered.” An Xiaoxi rubbed her flat stomach.

Aside from water, she hadn’t eaten anything all day.

After her parents divorced and started new families, fifteen-year-old An Xiaoxi could only depend on her grandmother. But since her grandmother passed away six months ago, An Xiaoxi had no one to rely on.

Shuffled between her parents’ homes and unwanted by both, she had become a superfluous person.

After being neglected by her father once again, she simply ran away. She usually hung out in internet cafes and stayed in a small hotel every few days to wash up and do laundry.

Fortunately, she was gifted in the field of computing. Even at a young age, she was proficient in various programming languages. She earned some income by helping people fix bugs on various forums, so she at least didn’t starve to death.

Perhaps because she had been alone for too long, a few hoodlums in the internet cafe had recently targeted her. They didn’t dare to be blatant in public, but they harassed her from time to time.

An Xiaoxi was terrified and could only change internet cafes every so often. This had also caused several of her business deals to fall through.

Luckily, someone added her on WeChat today to trade bitcoin. This kind of job was the easiest. There was no need to risk losing hair while writing code. She could just list it for trade and be done in half an hour.

Actually, many people didn’t understand. bitcoin has trading platforms; it just requires a VPN and the registration process is quite troublesome. However, for a computer expert like An Xiaoxi, it wasn’t a difficult task.

Before she knew it, it was almost eight o’clock. An Xiaoxi logged off and walked toward the coffee shop not far away.

”You’re Peerless Macho?!”

Zhang Wei stared dumbfounded at the thin little girl standing in front of him.

She looked about fifteen or sixteen years old and was very cute. Her hair was tied into simple twin tails with hair ties. She wore a tracksuit and carried an exaggeratedly large laptop bag.

Hearing the man’s question, An Xiaoxi wished she could find a hole to crawl into.

Usually, to hide her true gender and age, she deliberately chose such a name and intentionally spoke in the tone of an adult man. After all, who would think a fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl would be called Peerless Macho?

After a long while, An Xiaoxi said with a blush, ”It’s me... Um, can I sit down first?”

”Of course. What would you like to drink?” Zhang Wei regained his composure and asked politely.

An Xiaoxi said timidly, ”No, no need to trouble yourself.”

But at that moment, her stomach growled betrayingly.

”How embarrassing!” An Xiaoxi didn’t dare to look at the man in front of her and buried her head in her chest.

”Is orange juice okay?”

”Y-Yes.”

Zhang Wei smiled, called over the waiter, ordered a glass of orange juice, and also ordered a pizza.

Before long, the food was served.

Zhang Wei said gently, ”Eat something first. There’s no rush for the transaction.”

An Xiaoxi hesitated for a moment, but perhaps because she was truly too hungry, she finally whispered a thank you and picked up the pizza in front of her.

At first, she took small bites, but then she started eating faster and faster, her cheeks bulging. She looked just like a cute little squirrel.

Before long, she had finished the whole pizza.

”Thank you. I... I’m full.”

Patting her bulging stomach, An Xiaoxi reverted to a shy young girl, looking very uneasy.

Zhang Wei was also shocked by her appetite. ”This little girl didn’t just come back from Africa, did she?”

Shaking his head, Zhang Wei changed the subject, ”Let’s talk about business.”

”Okay.” An Xiaoxi quickly took out the laptop from her bag and logged into an overseas trading platform.

”Today’s bitcoin price is 423,880.23. If you’ve brought the private key, we can list it for sale right now.”

Then she whispered, ”But I charge a 1% commission. You... you need to pay first.”

Zhang Wei wasn’t afraid of any tricks and readily transferred 4,200 yuan to her WeChat.

After receiving the money, An Xiaoxi clearly breathed a sigh of relief. ”Give me the private key and provide a bank account for the payment.”

Zhang Wei handed over a linabell USB drive and gave his bank account number. He felt a bit embarrassed: ”I just bought a random second-hand USB drive; it looked like this when I bought it.”

An Xiaoxi was stunned for a moment but didn’t say anything. She began operating the computer.

Not long after,

”(Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) Your account has received 423,880.23 yuan. Current balance: 486,902.23 yuan.”

Zhang Wei couldn’t help but smile. In just a few days, his savings were approaching the five-hundred-thousand-yuan mark.

In some small cities, this might be the lifelong savings of an ordinary family.

But for Zhang Wei, it was just the beginning.

An Xiaoxi closed the laptop and returned the USB drive to Zhang Wei, saying, ”I used a fake identity to register an account for you abroad and linked it to your bank card number. All the information is copied onto the USB drive. You can use it directly for future overseas transactions.”

”Also, if you need anything else, you can contact me on WeChat again.”

An Xiaoxi finished speaking and left the coffee shop.

At this time by the roadside, two hoodlums were wandering aimlessly on the street. Suddenly, one of them’s eyes lit up.

”Hey? Look. Isn’t that the little loli from the internet cafe the other day?”

”It really is.” The other hoodlum looked closely and then smiled lewdly, ”Let’s go! Follow her. She slipped away the last few times. This time, we’re definitely going to have some fun with her.”

Five minutes later, An Xiaoxi ran frantically into a dead end. The frivolous voices of two men came from behind.

”Little girl, why are you running? We just want to make friends with you. You’re breaking our hearts like this.” As they spoke, they approached step by step.

The other one interrupted crudely, ”Why waste words with her? Just pull her to your place. Hehe... I can’t wait.”

An Xiaoxi held her backpack tightly to her chest, her face full of despair.

”Sneak attack!”

Suddenly, a man’s voice came from behind the hoodlums. Then, with a smack, the hoodlum on the left instantly collapsed to the ground.

”Ah!” The other hoodlum quickly turned around, only to see a brick whistling toward his face.
