Chapter 299: Chapter 299: Master and Disciple Reunite

After removing the ”Forgetfulness” debuff from Welt, the two of them immediately proceeded to remove the debuff from Himeko, which could tentatively be considered as completing the first step.

March 7th explained the whole story to the two of them. After hearing it, Welt furrowed his brows and said, ”If that’s the case, then it’s really not easy to resolve...”

”In that short period just now, at least a hundred jellyfish floated out from the room. To find and deal with each one individually would probably take a considerable amount of time.”

”Th-then what do we do?” Stelle said somewhat nervously: ”It’s over, it’s over, something big is going to happen.”

”Based on past experience, one of these jellyfish is definitely going to latch onto an important figure from the Xianzhou, and it’ll be seen as a malicious attack. Then they’ll definitely follow the trail and trace it back to the source, coming right to our door!”

”Then March, along with us, will become wanted criminals of the Xianzhou, exiled from it forever!”

Bang!

Himeko forcefully knocked Stelle on the head and said irritably, ”What are you thinking? The Xianzhou side isn’t unreasonable people. I’ll proactively explain this matter to them, tell them we’re in the process of remedying it, and as for the economic losses caused... we don’t lack Credit Points.”

”Since it’s trouble caused by March, she has to take responsibility. You two young people, keep it up.”

”Got it!” Stelle and the other nodded in unison, about to set off.

”Wait a moment. It seems like Dan Heng was just being chased and hacked at with a sword by someone. Why don’t you go find him first?” Himeko pointed in another direction.

”Oh oh!”

...

On the other side, Dan Heng was engaged in a tense and thrilling ”Skysplitter parkour.”

”Go die for me!”

Probably due to ”forgetting” most of his memories, the current Blade was no different from the Yingxing period, so he couldn’t unleash either his skills or sword techniques. He could only rely on the stats of this body to chase hard.

Blade himself also felt it was very strange. Setting aside the relationship between the two, the other was a bona fide High-Cloud Quintet Dragon Lord, while he was just an ordinary short-lived species.

In the past, after this bastard acted all cheeky, he would run away, and no matter what, he couldn’t catch up. Why was this jerk so weak today? He couldn’t even outrun him?

Fine then, if he can’t outrun him, then just obediently get beaten!

As Dan Heng ran, he turned his head back, picked up the gourd, and sprayed water right at Blade’s face—

”You—!”

Blade couldn’t dodge in time and was immediately knocked down by the water stream, while Dan Heng took the opportunity to pull away the distance, running a bit faster.

”Run? No way in hell!”

Blade wiped the water from his face. ”This is you forcing my hand!”

Blade, or rather Yingxing, had been able to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the other four as the High-Cloud Quintet with the identity of an ordinary person, which was enough to show how profound his attainments were in the crafting arts.

However, a craftsman of such superb skill could go into battle alongside a swordmaster like the Dragon Lord—not just on reputation alone.

He also had his own unique secret technique, a secret technique unique to craftsmen.

”Super Assembly!”

Blade shouted loudly, his hands waving as fast as afterimages, grabbing everything he could see in his line of sight. In almost an instant, a temporary jeep appeared beneath him.

When Dan Heng saw this scene: ???

”Die with force! Dan Feng!!”

Blade floored the accelerator with one foot, and the jeep immediately roared to life, charging forward at full speed, its front aimed straight at Dan Heng and crashing right into him!

However, at that moment, a burly passerby suddenly appeared in front of Dan Heng, heading straight toward the jeep as if he hadn’t heard the commotion at all—

Seeing this, Dan Heng instinctively shouted ”Danger!” and was about to pounce forward to save him.

Duang!

The jeep hurtled and crashed into the two, exploding on the spot and kicking up a small mushroom cloud, while Blade jumped out of the vehicle just a second before the impact, landing perfectly.

Because he had just jumped out, he still didn’t know that he seemed to have crashed into a ”passerby” as well.

”Hmph, with the Emanator gone, I’m invincible!” Blade sneered.

”...”

The smoke hadn’t cleared yet, but there was no response from the center of the explosion.

In such a situation, Blade didn’t even worry for a second, because in previous encounters like this, that jerk would always strike when he went up to check in concern, and even call it ”all’s fair in war.”

This time, he wouldn’t fall for it again.

—”Sigh, disciple.”

What Blade hadn’t anticipated was that before Dan Feng could respond, an even more familiar voice—one that filled him with even greater fear—rose from the thick smoke.

As the smoke gradually dissipated, an elderly man covered in steel-like muscles emerged from the gunpowder haze, cradling Dan Heng in his arms like a princess.

It was Huaiyan.

”Your master once said that in Zhuming, you could only be considered a... little loli.”

Seeing him, Blade’s eyes widened in disbelief, his inner fear driving him to involuntarily step back. He swallowed hard with difficulty and said, ”M-Master...”

”You’re not dead yet?”

Huaiyan smiled indifferently, casually tossing the Dan Heng in his arms aside, and leisurely walked toward Blade. ”Listen, disciple, I love you so~ much...”

”Alright! Come home with me, back to Zhuming!”

Huaiyan clashed his fists together, immediately unleashing a powerful aura that sent the jeep parts around him flying, clattering to the ground.

Blade shuddered violently, turned around, and ran: ”Ah, I love him to death, you damn thing, wuwu!”

”Aaaaaah!”

Huaiyan immediately gave chase: ”Disciple, stay right there!”

However, how could Blade’s speed possibly match Huaiyan’s, whose body had achieved sainthood? With just one step, Huaiyan’s figure blurred into a mass, kicking up a sharp sonic boom. In less than 0.1 seconds, he appeared right in front of Blade.

Huaiyan: ”Come quietly, or shall I help you?”

Blade unhesitatingly switched directions and continued fleeing: ”N-No! I don’t want to! I don’t understand, Master!”

He remembered he was on the Luofu! Why had Huaiyan suddenly appeared here?

Huaiyan once again moved at high speed to appear in front of Blade: ”Come home with me!”

Blade switched directions again and ran, shouting loudly: ”Nooo, Master! Nooo!”

Whoosh—

Another teleport, and Huaiyan appeared in front of Blade. But this time, he didn’t continue persuading; instead, he let out a soft sigh and swung a fist: ”Behave!”

Duang!

Blade’s body flew out like a sandbag, turning into a straight line and crashing into the wall, leaving a deep human-shaped dent.

Seeing this, Huaiyan’s face lit up with surprise. ”Oh? When did this kid achieve a bit of body sainthood? In the past, this punch would have kept him digesting for half a year. Not bad, truly worthy of being Zhuming’s once-in-centuries genius.”

”That Super Assembly just now was executed with pure mastery, almost catching up to me... This kid hasn’t even been in the sect for a few years, and he’s already about to empty out all my stuff here? No, no, starting tomorrow, I need to add another can of protein powder...”

”Hiss— By the way, what is this place?”
