Chapter 257: Chapter 257: Borisin Eat Eat Eat Eat Until Fed Up

”You scoundrel, eat a punch from this old lady!”

Lingsha shouted loudly, and under Skott’s dazed gaze, she swung a fierce punch downward!

The ferocity of this punch was such that even the air exploded with a sharp whistling sound. Facing such a sharp strike, Skott didn’t dare to slack off in the slightest. He gripped his stick and blocked with all his might—

Clang!

That delicate fist directly bent the iron stick in half, and with undiminished momentum, it smashed heavily onto Skott’s chest.

”Ouch—!”

Skott let out a miserable scream as his body flew backward, crashing solidly into the cargo crate he had been guarding.

The people nearby: ...

Is this... is this right? People from the Xianzhou Zhuming... are actually so robust and powerful?

”Hoo—”

Lingsha slowly exhaled a breath, and the muscles on her body softened. In just a few seconds, she transformed back into the delicate and charming woman that Stelle remembered from before.

Oh, this refers to her appearance.

”Don’t get angry, don’t get angry. Who would be happy if this old lady got angry...” Lingsha muttered a few words to herself, then turned to Stelle and the others with a smile: ”Are you all the heroes from the Astral Express? This old lady’s name is Lingsha, a person from Zhuming. Pleased to meet you, pleased to meet you.”

The group exchanged glances with each other, and in the end, it was Stelle who clasped her hands together with trembling arms: ”This sister is truly a heroine among women. I, your little sister, am truly in admiration.”

”Where, where? It’s just a bit of brute force from a rough woman, nothing worth praising,” Lingsha waved her hand and said: ”I’ve long heard that the heroes of the Astral Express are eager to help others and possess a righteousness that reaches the heavens. Seeing you all today, it turns out to be true!”

”Once this old lady handles the matters here, I will definitely have the Alchemy Commission properly host all of you!”

Stelle: ”Uh... G-Good, good.”

”Urgh ahh... You... You’re all bullying me too much!”

At this moment, from under the cargo crate nearby, Skott shakily crawled up from the ground and said: ”If the tiger doesn’t show its might, do you think I’m a sick cat?!”

”Do you know what this batch of goods means to me?”

”You want to stop it? No way; you want to open it? Even more impossible!”

”Behind me, what I’m guarding is the company’s interests, you know!”

Clatter—

But as soon as Skott’s words fell, the door of the cargo crate behind him slowly opened (the door lock had been damaged when it crashed into the crate earlier), and the things inside gradually revealed themselves to the group’s eyes...

They were models wrapped in black cloth, with ”Confidential Shipment” labels attached. From the outside, they seemed to resemble Borisin...

The group’s inner thoughts: Ah this... Humans shouldn’t, at least they shouldn’t be allowed to, right?

Seeing the expressions on everyone’s faces, Skott immediately panicked and desperately explained: ”These inside are Borisin figurines. Don’t look at me with that kind of gaze! It’ll damage the company’s reputation!”

The group nodded: ”You’re right.”

Skott: ”...He treasures them!”

Click click click—

At this moment, a faint mechanical whirring sound suddenly rang out. The group unanimously fell silent and listened to the source of the sound—

It seemed to be... those things with the ”Confidential Shipment” labels?

Rip—

Only to see one of the models in the cargo crate suddenly move, roughly tearing open the black cloth from the inside and displaying itself before the group—

It was a maid-outfitted mechanical Borisin!

”Oh my beans... What the heck is the real purpose of this thing?” Stelle stared blankly at this robot, murmuring to herself.

By common sense, this thing should be used for combat.

But... why add a maid outfit?

If it’s for daily use (everyday life usage)... why equip it with a combat system?!

”Ha—!”

The mechanical Borisin let out a ha sound identical to that of a normal Borisin, its back arching as if ready to charge forward at any moment.

March 7th and Dan Heng instinctively drew their respective weapons, but just as they prepared to step forward to meet the enemy, Lingsha reached out to stop them, saying: ”Heroes, leave this rough work to this old lady! Though this old lady is just a clerical staff member, when facing danger, I still know a bit of fist and foot work!”

Stelle, on the other hand, felt no tension at all, because she had a clear understanding of herself: if even these people around her couldn’t beat it, then her charging up with a fire lance would just be sending herself to her death. Better to stay obediently in the back.

”Eat a strike from this old lady!” Lingsha shouted loudly and stepped forward to clash with the mechanical Borisin.

Ding ding clang clang! (Combat sound effects)

On the other side, Stelle looked at Skott with an unkind expression and said: ”You’d better explain. What exactly are these things used for?”

”Th-This, I don’t know either...”

Skott stared at the mechanical Borisin and swallowed a mouthful of saliva. Now that his cargo had shown obvious aggression, he knew he was in the wrong, so he no longer had the arrogant demeanor from earlier. He stammered:

”These goods are being shipped to the Borisin Protection Base. For wild Borisin, this counts as daily necessities! Equipping a combat system is just to blend into the wild Borisin packs...”

—Borisin Protection Base.

She recognized every single word, but when these words came together, Stelle simply couldn’t comprehend them.

Had the Borisin of this world become so miserable? How terrifyingly strong must Feixiao be?! To the point of hunting Borisin to the status of protected animals?!

Duang!

While the two were talking, that mechanical Borisin had already been dismantled almost completely by Lingsha. The latter hugged the former’s head and yanked it viciously. Accompanied by machine oil and wires, a mechanical head was forcibly wrenched off.

Seeing this scene, Skott’s face immediately turned ashen: ”It’s over... All over. The boss will definitely charge this loss to my account again. My salary, my position...”

”...”

Not long after, the relevant matters were handled. Skott left here dejectedly, the Artisanship Commission.

Alchemy Commission.

”Heroes, today this old lady returns to my homeland and has the fortune to make your acquaintances. It’s truly a great joy. This old lady will have someone prepare a table of Borisin feast to celebrate. How about it?”

”Borisin feast...”

Hearing this name, Stelle’s mouth twitched. She felt this term meant exactly what it said. Just thinking of that scene made her stomach churn. Somewhat depressed, she asked: ”By the way, why is everyone on the Luofu eating Borisin everywhere now?”

”Because of the Wardance Ceremony,” Lingsha blinked her eyes and explained: ”In the past, these wolf cubs were our Xianzhou’s mortal enemies. During a major event like the Wardance Ceremony, how could we do without these fellows?”

”Moreover, Borisin are naturally nimble mountain spirits, with extremely low body fat percentages honed by long-term training. They’re all top-quality ingredients. Things like ’Sweet Sweet Borisin’ and ’Orleans Roasted Borisin Leg’ are famous delicacies across the universe... Hero, you haven’t tried them?”

Stelle shook her head repeatedly.

”You really haven’t? That’s truly rare.”

Lingsha ground her silver teeth, her pink little tongue licking her lips as she said: ”No matter, no matter. Today, this old lady will be the host and treat all you heroes to a good drink up!”
