What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 254: Chapter 254: Representative of Zhuming

Everything happened in a flash. After the Borisin was stomped into the ground tiles by the girl’s foot, the Cloud Knights finally reacted, rushing forward to help. In just a few breaths, Mok Tok’s body was firmly bound with iron chains, unable to move.

”This Borisin possesses extremely strong aggression. First, escort it to The Shackling Prison and release it only after it undergoes desensitization training!” The Cloud Knight captain ordered.

”Yes!” The other Cloud Knights responded and carried Mok Tok away.

”Miss, thank you just now for...”

The Cloud Knight captain had just prepared to express his thanks to the girl, but upon turning his head, he found that she had already vanished without a trace, just as mysteriously as she had appeared.

The Cloud Knight captain was stunned for a moment, then helplessly shook his head. There were many nameless heroes like this on the Xianzhou. Though they always stepped up at critical moments, their personalities were each inscrutably elusive.

Just a few days ago, he’d heard that in the Exalting Sanctum at midnight, a white-haired woman had laughed like a ghost, only for it to turn out she was actually making Borisin meat char siu bao...

...

”Don’t you all think that girl just now seemed a bit like an old acquaintance?”

Dan Heng stared in the direction the girl had left, asking with a somewhat peculiar expression.

Whether it was her tone, content, or manner of speaking, or her attire and swordsmanship, it all seemed... like Blade?

Could this girl also be a Stellaron Hunter?

Stelle, on the other hand, looked utterly bewildered: ”Like who?”

As someone who had experienced the plot, she naturally knew that the girl who had just appeared was actually Yunli. Even the reason for her appearance this time hadn’t changed—it was all to stop the Borisin causing a disturbance.

Therefore, no matter how obvious Yunli’s performance had been just now, she couldn’t connect Yunli and Blade in any way.

Dan Heng helplessly rubbed his forehead. ”Never mind.”

Yanqing looked in the direction Yunli had left, a flash of envy in his eyes: ”Sigh, if only I could be as strong as her someday... Eh?”

Suddenly, Yanqing seemed to notice something. He quickly walked toward the battlefield where Yunli and Mok Tok had just fought, picking up a crystal shoe from it: ”Could this be the shoe that girl just now dropped?”

Stelle immediately tossed the crystal shoe into a trash bin. ”That girl just now wasn’t wearing shoes. You’ve got the wrong script. Look again.”

Yanqing glanced around once more and soon spotted a flying sword. ”Hm? Why is there a sword here? Could it be something that girl just now dropped from her body?”

Everyone crowded around at once. Jing Yuan touched his chin, scrutinizing the sword carefully. ”From the style and craftsmanship of this sword, it doesn’t seem like it’s from the Luofu. Instead, it looks a bit like the work from the Xianzhou Zhuming... Could that girl just now be from Zhuming?”

Yanqing scratched his head: ”I feel like shouldn’t we be investigating whether this sword actually belongs to that girl? It didn’t look like she had anywhere extra on her body to carry a sword.”

Everyone: ”That’s harmless; it’s not the point.”

Yanqing: ???

Jing Yuan: ”...How about this: I hear the delegations from Zhuming and Yaoqing are visiting the Seat of Divine Foresight today. I’ll pull some strings to get in and see if we can find that swordswoman among the delegation.”

”Sorry, everyone. Yanqing and I will take our leave first. You all find a place to settle down. Once I finish up here, I’ll come back to host you. See you later~”

...

Not long after, at the Seat of Divine Foresight.

— ”Ratio, it’s already been 11 seconds!”

Inside the Seat of Divine Foresight, there was a scene of song and laughter. Qingque sat behind the desk, drinking Sunk Cost from Penacony airlifted over while hugging Fu Xuan in her arms. In the center of the Seat of Divine Foresight, a holographic projection was playing the latest ”First Flying Car Wars” variety show released by the Penacony Group.

”Hahahahaha! These Nameless from the Astral Express are way too entertaining. I’m really curious how the Group convinced them to join this variety show, hahaha!”

Qingque laughed while patting Fu Xuan’s little leg: ”Right, my dear?”

Fu Xuan nodded repeatedly.

”Report—! General, Mr. Jing Yuan requests an audience!” A Cloud Knight ran over to deliver the message.

The smile on Qingque’s face froze. She quickly switched the holographic projection, then made Fu Xuan stand properly. She herself assumed a posture of serious work. ”Let them in.”

”Yes!”

Soon, Jing Yuan and the others entered from outside. The moment he stepped in, Jing Yuan said somewhat surprised: ”General? How come the moment we arrive, you put away all the good stuff? Keep the music going, keep the dancing going!”

Qingque looked utterly serious: ”Mr. Jing Yuan, don’t spout nonsense. This general has been working continuously for a long time, racking my brains in exhaustion.”

Jing Yuan waved his hand, giving her a ”who doesn’t know whom” look, then said with a straight face: ”The delegations from Yaoqing and Zhuming are about to arrive soon. Are you prepared? They’re not coming just to sightsee this time—most of it is an assessment of you as the successor.”

”I went to a lot of trouble for my retirement. Don’t disappoint me, General Qingque.”

Qingque waved her small hand: ”Don’t worry, these are all minor issues. For this life I have now, I’ll give it my all.”

Seeing that she had said this much, Jing Yuan nodded slightly and said no more, patiently waiting on the side with Yanqing. Not long after, another Cloud Knight ran in from outside: ”Report—! General, the Zhuming representative requests an audience!”

Qingque: ”Quickly, invite them in!”

The two Cloud Knights at the entrance to the Seat of Divine Foresight moved in unison to open the great doors, bowing respectfully and announcing loudly: ”Welcome the Xianzhou Zhuming delegation to visit the Luofu. The general solemnly welcomes everyone’s arrival!”

Thud, thud, thud...

As the doors opened, heavy footsteps also sounded from outside. Jing Yuan felt this familiar oppressive aura and couldn’t help but shake his head helplessly: He hadn’t expected that after so many years, that old general’s body was still as sturdy as ever.

Standing at the door was a muscular old man over 1.8 meters tall. Every step he took made the ground seem to tremble along with it.

He was the most senior general among the current ones—the general of the Candle Abyss, Huaiyan.

The swordsmanship mentor of Yingxing, or rather, Blade.

An old man who had lived for over two thousand years.

Huaiyan had retired from the general position multiple times already, but unfortunately, the Xianzhou Zhuming had never produced anyone who could replace him, so he had no choice but to keep resuming the post. Jing Yuan had known him as far back as eight hundred years ago, and even now in retirement, Huaiyan still firmly held the general’s seat.

”Qingque of the Luofu greets Old General Huaiyan. Long time no see—Old General, your demeanor remains as impressive as ever.”

Faced with this esteemed guest, Qingque didn’t dare slack off and immediately stood up respectfully to welcome him.

”Ai ya, this old bag of bones of mine is about to be buried soon. All my muscles have atrophied badly—what ’impressive demeanor’...”

Huaiyan waved his hand, chuckling: ”Jing Yuan, kid, long time no see. How come you’ve gotten shorter? Could it be you’ve atrophied too?”

Qingque: ...

”Sigh, the young people nowadays just don’t have sturdy constitutions. How old are you? Just over eight hundred, right? In the prime of life, and you’ve atrophied this badly. Eh? Wait, your voice has changed too? It sounds like a little girl’s.”

General Huaiyan let out a heavy sigh: ”Jing Yuan, kid, this won’t do. If you keep going like this, can you still protect the Luofu and defeat the Abominations of Abundance?”
