Chapter 295: Chapter 295: Sniveling

Stelle clamped March 7th under her arm and ran wildly all the way back to their room. After entering, she first gently placed March 7th on the sofa, then locked all the doors and windows, and finally checked that no melon-eaters had respawned in the room before slowly letting out a breath of relief.

Today’s March 7th felt even more terrifying than usual. Although the usual March 7th’s silent demeanor had a strong sense of pressure, at least she could be coaxed slowly.

But today’s March 7th... was not easy to coax!

Even now, March 7th was not settling down. Before Stelle could do anything, the former had already crawled off the sofa and was sniveling while grabbing at her pant leg, saying: ”Stelle, don’t leave me. I’ll do anything. How about I change into new clothes for you to see? Wuwuwu~”

Stelle held her hands to her head, feeling like her brain was being stretched like rubber: Don’t cry anymore, March! I’ll really be at a loss!

”Wuwuwu, Stelle, why aren’t you saying anything? Did I make you unhappy again? Wuwuwu~”

Stelle gritted her teeth and also knelt down on the ground, crying face-to-face with March 7th: ”Wuwuwu, March, I was wrong. Please don’t cry anymore, okay? Wuwuwu~”

March 7th: ”Was it because I made you cry again? I’m sorry, wuwuwu~”

Stelle: ”I’m sorry, March. Please don’t cry, wuwuwu~”

March 7th: ”Stelle, don’t cry. If Stelle doesn’t cry, I won’t cry, wuwuwu~”

Stelle: ”March, stop crying first. If March stops crying first, I won’t cry, wuwuwu~”

March 7th: ”You first www~”

Stelle: ”You first www~”

(The Dan Heng in the next room lying on the bed: ...)

After sniveling for a while, March 7th finally ran out of energy first. She looked at Stelle with slightly reddened eyes and said weakly: ”Stelle, I’m not crying now. I’m just going to keep crying.”

Stelle: ??

Why did she suddenly not understand what March 7th was saying? Could it be that after crying, her intelligence automatically dropped?

March 7th tapped her two index fingers together and said: ”Stelle, do you know? You ignored me all day today. Although I was very angry, I actually wasn’t angry at all, because I know Stelle didn’t mean to, even though you totally did.”

Stelle didn’t dare to cry anymore at this point. She looked at March 7th in horror: Are you sober right now?

”There’s one thing I’ve always been afraid to tell you, but I really want to tell you. I’ll tell it to you alone, and also tell Dan Heng and the others...”

Stelle looked at March 7th nervously: ”What is it? Tell me.”

March 7th’s slender fingers twirled her hair as she said: ”Although I’m one person, I’m actually not one person.”

”Of course I’m a girl. Jellyfish and stuff are pretty cute too. If my Remembrance Spirit was in Stelle’s likeness, that would be great, but I still like being one of a kind...”

”Don’t say this right now, but I just have to say this. And I haven’t gone off-topic!”

Stelle: Horrified.jpg

”Of course I’m one person! No no no, I’m not one person. Stelle being all obedient and lying under me would be great! I don’t want to take the initiative!”

Stelle had already started quietly backing away. She felt that March 7th’s current scene of her left brain attacking her right brain was ten or even nine parts off. She strongly suspected that March 7th had been possessed by something like a Heliobus; otherwise, how could she act so bizarrely?

However, just as she was about to turn and slip away, a colorful ice crystal suddenly condensed on her right leg. Stelle, caught off guard, fell heavily to the ground on the spot.

”Stelle, where are you going? You already abandoned me once during the day. Are you really going to do it again now?”

March 7th’s gentle voice suddenly rang out from behind her. This time, her tone no longer had that previous sniveling feeling; instead, it was a bit like returning to the cold-faced big sister that Stelle was familiar with from before.

”March, what’s wrong with you...”

Stelle had just tried to get up when a small hand gently pressed down on the back of her head. The force was neither too heavy nor too light—it wouldn’t make Stelle feel uncomfortable, but it just right kept her from lifting her head.

Immediately after, Stelle felt something heavy pressing down on her lower back, followed closely by March 7th’s sniveling voice: ”Wuwuwu, Stelle, don’t go~ I’ll tell you my secret right away. Actually, I’m the second personality!”

Stelle struggled desperately: ”March, stop messing around! We’re not at Amphoreus yet! Let me up first—my foot is frozen!”

”W-wait! Don’t freeze my hands too! I believe you have a second personality, okay? March, don’t do anything stupid!”

...

A moment later, Stelle’s four limbs were all fixed in place by colorful ice blocks, splayed out on the ground in the shape of a ”大” character.

March 7th’s ”mental state” seemed to have normalized a bit by now. She rubbed her brow and explained: ”S-sorry, Stelle. I couldn’t control her just now. I caused you trouble.”

Stelle wanted to cry but had no tears: ”What the hell is going on here?”

March 7th’s voice was full of apology as she said: ”Sorry, I’ve never told you this secret. Actually... actually, inside my body, there’s another ’me’.”

(The following omits 800 words of setting explanation)

”In short, she’s also a part of me. She likes you a lot too. I didn’t expect that without controlling her today, she actually seized control and caused you so much trouble.”

Stelle: ”So that means, that strange speech you gave just now...?”

March 7th scratched her head a bit awkwardly: ”At that time, I was trying to seize dominance, but she was being stubborn today, so that was actually two people speaking. Ahaha...”

Stelle asked again: ”Then you also said some really weird things just now...?”

March 7th hurriedly waved her hands: ”That wasn’t me saying it. Stelle, you know me!”

Hearing her say that, Stelle finally slowly let out a breath and gave up struggling. ”Then March, help me melt the ice blocks. I can’t move at all right now. This position is so uncomfortable.”

March 7th nodded and walked behind Stelle. Just as the latter thought everything was finally over, March 7th’s expression suddenly changed, and she said in panic: ”How could this be?”

Stelle: ?

The next second, Stelle felt something heavy pressing down on her waist.

”Stelle, run quick! I can’t control my own body anymore! It must be ’Crycry’ doing this!”

Stelle was briefly stunned for a few seconds. In that gap, the pair of small hands behind her had already started tugging at her clothes.

”Stelle, don’t blame me. I really can’t control myself!”

”W-wait, March, aren’t you the one talking right here?”

March 7th paused for a moment, then continued: ”Uh... I-I can only watch now, as a bystander. But I can’t control my body. Stelle, believe me—this really isn’t my original intention!”

Stelle: ”W-wait, hahaha, that tickles. D-don’t move!”

”Wait! March, you just laughed, didn’t you? You definitely laughed just now, right?”

”Wait! Lighter, that hurts! Aaaah—”

...

Just as things in the room were progressing in full swing, outside the door, a figure stood at the entrance. He hesitated for a moment, then still reached out and knocked on the door.

Bang bang bang.
