Invincible from Seeing the BOSS's Health Bar

Chapter 41: Chapter 41 Threats (3 updates)

Fang Yu was furious.

The loss of 10 Experience Points, I’ll retrieve it from your boss’s head!

He strode towards the boss, but saw him in retreat.

Wait! The direction he’s retreating towards is... where Diao Ruru is!

Fang Yu’s face changed instantly.

”Second Sister! Run towards me!”

As soon as the words were spoken, Fang Yu charged towards the second sister.

The second sister was quick-witted.

She instantly realized what the boss was trying to do.

Frightened, she screamed and hurriedly ran towards Fang Yu.

But it was too late.

By the time Fang Yu had covered half the distance, the boss had already reached the second sister.

As the second sister screamed in fear and backed away, her hair was grabbed, and a sword was placed on her neck.

”Stop! Diao Deyi! Take one more step and I’ll kill your sister!”

The boss sneered as he pressed the tip of the sword against the second sister’s pale neck.

The second sister was thin, and the mere touch of the blade on her neck seemed to rub against her cervical spine, leaving a red mark.

Fang Yu stopped immediately, his face darkening.

Since coming out from the martial arts school today, he hadn’t felt fully energized.

Even when fighting those Black Tiger Gang underlings earlier, he was careful not to exert too much force, fearing he’d collapse from exhaustion and simply wait to die on the spot.

Otherwise, such trash wouldn’t even require him to throw two punches; they were all one-punch knockouts.

Now, due to his lack of energy, he was too slow and unable to assist the second sister in time.

He now realized how dangerous neglecting well-rounded capabilities could be.

The power damage was sufficient, but the endurance was truly inadequate.

”Diao Deyi, oh Diao Deyi, you have really impressed me.”

”I thought that your type of minor character would be sufficiently dealt with by my underlings, and I wouldn’t need to resort to such measures to force you to comply.”

”Yet, in the end, you forced me to use this move. You, are quite remarkable.”

The boss controlled the situation and began to speak at length.

Though there were corpses all around, he now held the lifeline of Diao Deyi.

He was confident that the woman in his hand would make Diao Deyi comply obediently.

”Boss, are you so unconfident? Afraid to fight me? How about this, I’ll let you have three moves, and only after your three moves will I retaliate. If you lose even then, you release us, brother and sister. Conversely, if I lose, I’ll go with you without resistance.”

Fang Yu reasoned, and his breathing began to slow.

The boss laughed.

”I have this woman in my hands, do you think you have the room to resist?”

”Diao Deyi! Don’t worry about me! Just run! I, I’ll be fine! He wants me, he won’t dare to kill me...”

The second sister’s body trembled uncontrollably, yet a stiff smile was forced upon her face.

”Wrong! I enjoy playing with women, but I never mix up priorities. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be in my current position with the Black Tiger Gang.”

The boss, unusually serious, looked directly at Fang Yu and said, ”Diao Deyi, you have two options now.”

”First, kill yourself, and I’ll spare your second sister.”

”Second, watch your second sister die by my hand, then die by my sword as well.”

Fang Yu was silent for a moment, his breathing stabilized, then he looked up and said.

”Perhaps I have a third option. I wonder if you’ve ever heard of Li Qianxuan from the Foolish Underworld?”

The boss found it odd. Why is Fang Yu mentioning this now?

”So what if I have?”

”He and I are well acquainted. If anything happens to the second sister or me today, you’ll be in big trouble.”

”...”

The notoriety of the Foolish Underworld is known to all.

Calling you a demon, you’ll face the sword no matter what.

If one abuses their power, they would indeed face internal repercussions from the Foolish Underworld.

However, if you become a soul under the sword, delayed justice serves no purpose.

”...I don’t remember you having dealings with such significant figures, and besides, I have the Black Tiger Gang behind me!”

”How long can the Black Tiger Gang protect you? Once the storm has passed, the sword of the Foolish Underworld will still fall upon your head.”

The boss frowned, thought for a moment, and then suddenly smiled.

Fang Yu, who was secretly moving forward, quickly stopped.

”What are you laughing at?”

”I don’t believe it.”

”What?”

”I don’t believe that a piece of trash like you could have dealings with the ten households of the Foolish Underworld. Nor do I believe that someone minor like you could have the people of the Foolish Underworld take revenge for you. You say you can’t move me, but I’m willing to bet on this. I bet your life isn’t worth much, and you’re just bluffing.”

Brother Hu’s thoughts became clearer.

”Think about it carefully, using the Foolish Underworld to scare me? With one slash of this knife, your sister will be dead, and people cannot come back to life. You wouldn’t be able to see her ever again in this life.”

”...”

Fang Yu fell silent.

At this distance, he could already rush forward and fight with Brother Hu.

But even if he moved quickly, he couldn’t be faster than someone slitting a throat.

Just a gentle slice, and his second sister would be dead on the spot.

”Still haven’t made up your mind? Maybe I need to make the decision for you?”

”I’ll count to three, if you don’t commit suicide, your sister will die.”

Brother Hu’s voice, like a death god, echoed.

”3.”

”2.”

”I am willing to commit suicide to save my second sister’s life,” Fang Yu’s calm voice resounded.

”Diao Deyi?!” The second sister widened her eyes, and tears burst forth.

”No! No! It’s better if you let me die instead! I’ll do it now, you run!”

As she spoke, she rushed towards the blade at her throat.

This move gave Fang Yu quite a shock.

However, Brother Hu seemed to have anticipated it, suddenly withdrew the knife and kicked Diao Ruru on the knee, causing her to cry out in pain and kneel down. He then grabbed her hair with a painful yelp.

[Diao Ruru: 3/4.]

Only then did Brother Hu put his head close to Diao Ruru’s ear.

”Stop trying tricks. I, Brother Hu, have crossed more bridges than you’ve walked roads. There have been many hostages who’ve dashed against my blade, but when has one ever died?”

Look, that’s professionalism!

Fang Yu showed respect.

Suddenly, he felt that although Brother Hu was despicable, in terms of professional integrity, he did things other scoundrels could not.

Thus, he is an outstanding scoundrel, a professional scoundrel, who keeps his word not to hurt hostages and even protects them well!

Give a round of applause!

Since the second sister was safe, Fang Yu greatly relieved.

Although it was just a game, the second sister had been quite good to him, and he did not want her to die like this.

Seeing Brother Hu looking at him in such a way, Fang Yu earnestly said,

”What kind of death does Brother Hu want for me?”

”Very simple.”

”On the ground next to you, there is a sword. Pick it up, and aim it at your chest...”

Before Brother Hu could finish, Fang Yu suddenly picked up the sword and slashed at his own neck.

With a snap!

Fang Yu’s head rolled to the ground, his body swayed, and he fell dead.

Brother Hu: ...

Brother Hu: ???

Brother Hu: !!!

Brother Hu was dumbfounded on the spot.

He died just like that??

Was he that ferocious? Directly beheading himself, wasn’t he being too ruthless to himself?

After his initial shock, sheer joy followed.

Mission accomplished!

To tell the truth, having been with the Black Tiger Gang for so long, this was the first time Brother Hu had seen someone commit suicide so cleanly and decisively.

But it didn’t stop Brother Hu from expressing an impressed well done!
