Invincible from Seeing the BOSS's Health Bar

Chapter 39: Chapter 39: Five Darknesses (1 more update)

Brother Tiger’s subordinates, were more elite than Wang Er’s group, their average strength being around 10 to 11 points of health.

The average naturally includes both higher and lower ends, like the subordinate named Wei Kai who was slapped, who only had 8 points of health.

For Brother Tiger himself, his health was much higher, having 25 points.

However, Fang Yu’s attention wasn’t on Brother Tiger.

He swiftly scanned the remaining three subordinates.

First, I’ll deal with you three, consume your Experience Points, then kill the others.

With a bang, Fang Yu suddenly stepped back, using his body to block the only entrance of the room.

Shut the door, fight the dog!

Tonight, none of the Black Tiger Gang’s members will escape!

The three subordinates didn’t know Fang Yu’s thoughts, got startled thinking Fang Yu wanted to run away, and immediately charged to attack.

Fang Yu would not just stand there and get hit.

With high physical strength, Fang Yu’s movements were quite agile.

He effortlessly dodged the first subordinate’s punch with a sideways movement, his left hand blocking the second subordinate’s punch.

Clap!

0.

As he blocked the attack, numbers appeared above Fang Yu’s head, briefly startling him.

[Diao Deyi: 22/22.]

Before he could ponder on it, the third subordinate’s punch struck, Fang Yu decisively struck back directly with a counter punch.

Bang!!

-9!

0!

Two numbers appeared above their heads almost at the same time.

Their fists collided, the opponent’s fist as fragile as paper, breaking upon contact, with a cracking sound of broken bones.

Subordinate number three cried out in pain, retreating with an abnormally twisted arm joint, clearly having his arm bones directly broken by the brutal force.

[Hang Kean: 2/11.]

The miserable scream of the third subordinate startled the second one next to him.

The punch, however, blocked by Fang Yu, startled the second subordinate, wanting to retreat, but suddenly found his fist caught by Fang Yu’s hand, tightly gripped!

A wave of panic surged, the second subordinate lifted his head in horror looking at Fang Yu...

Crack!

Fang Yu pressed down hard with his hand!

With brute strength, he directly crushed the fist enclosed in his palm.

The sound of bones grinding against each other rang out.

-6!

[Xiang Zhongshi: 6/12.]

By the time Fang Yu released his hand.

The second subordinate’s fingers were crushed into a mess, flesh blurred, finger joints and broken bones protruding like chicken claws, blood flowing, the pain making his hand shake as he knelt halfway with a scream.

Such a thing was only possible due to a critical disparity in strength.

His attention was all on his mangled hand, but didn’t notice Fang Yu’s attack hadn’t ended, his fist the size of a sandbag already aimed at his head.

Bang!!

A punch landed on the subordinate’s head, indenting it with half a fist mark, the second subordinate’s body stiffened, collapsing with a thud.

-6!

[Xiang Zhongshi: 0/12.]

Health bar emptied, dead on the spot.

[System Notification: Congratulations player for killing [Xiang Zhongshi], obtained Experience Points 2.]

The first subordinate who came rushing over, swinging his fist and missing.

Now looking back, found one companion already down cold on the ground. Another clutched his dislocated, broken arm, knelt, and wept.

The first subordinate was utterly stunned.

A face-off, and two of their three were down??

Since when did Diao Deyi become so fierce??

Just as he was thinking, suddenly a shadow approached, before he could react, the shadow’s large hand already grabbed his neck.

It was indeed Diao Deyi!

Diao Deyi’s strange force easily lifted the first subordinate off his feet.

”Tiger, Brother Tiger! Save... save...”

Crack.

-13!

The first subordinate’s neck was twisted, killing him instantly.

[Sang Jun: 0/13.]

[System Notification: Congratulations player for killing [Sang Jun], obtained Experience Points 2.]

”Dead, dead?!”

The little brother who was clutching his fractured arm and crying in pain, upon seeing his companion’s death, widened his eyes in fright, stopped crying, and trembled all over.

”Diao, Diao Deyi, don’t kill me. I was just working for Brother Tiger, I only...”

Slap!

Fang Yu strode over, calmly slapping him on the head, clearing his health bar.

-2.

[Hang Kean: 0/11.]

[System Notification: Congratulations Player on killing [Hang Kean] and earning 2 Experience Points.]

In just a matter of seconds, three men had already died at Fang Yu’s hands.

This dumbfounded Wei Kai and the others.

Is the disparity in fighting power really that huge??

Who is this guy, anyway?

A mini boss used in the novice tutorial for new players to get familiar with combat?

Do they immediately decrease the difficulty and lower the AI’s capability as soon as they get the hang of it?

Or is this a narrative kill where we must die here, to be resurrected and escape?

Or is it a boss that doesn’t need to be killed? Does escaping the house count as passing the novice tutorial?

In a moment, Wei Kai’s thoughts were racing.

Beside them, Brother Tiger was looking serious.

The combined attack of those three subordinates, Brother Tiger could handle it too.

But, he definitely couldn’t do it as effortlessly and rudely break through their coordinated attack like Fang Yu.

”Is he really Diao Deyi?”

”Could he be possessed by a demon?”

”That strange force, that physical strength, compared to the skinny kid who I beat to the ground two days ago, he’s a completely different person!”

Brother Tiger’s gaze focused on Fang Yu’s hands.

Especially those hands, the strength they burst with was astonishing—even he, who specialized in Tiger Power Fist, dared not claim he could withstand that punch.

Back to the scene.

Fang Yu first killed two door guards, then killed two in an ambush, and finally in a direct confrontation killed three.

From entering to now, it had just been a dozen breaths of time, and already 7 of his men had died by Fang Yu’s hands.

Now, the only remaining subordinates by his side were Wei Kai and his six men.

Brother Tiger had an idea.

”What are you standing there for, go kill him!”

Brother Tiger shouted angrily at his subordinates.

But... none of them responded.

They were all intimidated by Fang Yu’s fierce killing method.

”Holy shit! Buddy, won’t you have nightmares killing like this?”

”He’s a native NPC, why should he be scared of nightmares, understand? Killing like flax!”

”Retreat, retreat, retreat! A mini boss appeared, the level is too high, we can’t confront him! Let’s level up before coming back to clear this dungeon!”

”What about Wang Er?”

”Just let him die, we can take him leveling when he reenters the game.”

As they spoke, several men blatantly abandoned Wei Kai, who was being pulled along by Brother Tiger, and prepared to run.

They said, ’slip away.’

But there was only one main entrance to the house.

And Fang Yu was standing right in front of it, blocking the way.

”What should we do?”

The five men exchanged glances silently.

The next instant.

”Run!”

Not knowing who shouted, the five simultaneously charged towards Fang Yu.

One went for a slide under Fang Yu’s crotch.

One rushed toward the left side gap of the door.

One headed for the right side gap.

One leaped up, throwing a handful of rice at Fang Yu to obscure his vision, apparently having grabbed it from a broken rice jar.

One came straight on, ducking low in a tackling stance, targeting Fang Yu’s waist.

In a critical moment, the five demonstrated their various skills.

Life and death are predestined, wealth and honor are in heaven.

”Whether or not you can pass this novice instance, it all relies on your own ability!”

The five dorm mates, telepathic in their unity.

But, they overlooked one thing.

That is, Fang Yu’s strength.
